2005 Cadillac Escalade Esv Sport Utility 6.0l. V8 Low Reserve, Excellent Conditn on 2040-cars
Aberdeen, Maryland, United States
We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you
un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully
describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or
not have a thorough description of that item.
Our goal is simple. We aim to be honest and fair with all of our deals.
Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We achieve
this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a
comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We
strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and
definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING
we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item
for sale. THE BOSS’S ESCALADE!! WITH A LOW RESERVE THOUSANDS
BELOW CURRENT RETAIL!! That’s right, we are auctioning the boss’s almost mint 2005 Cadillac Escalade! Why? He said “it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. There is not one bad thing to say about the Escalade.” Being a car dealer, you never really keep vehicles long; he had this for over 6 years!! As he is the second owner, but this Escalade will make you feel like the original! If
you always wanted to own a Cadillac Escalade, now is your chance. These can be
very expensive and can easily have mechanical issues. This makes finding a good
deal on one… very hard! I know this vehicle has been EXCEPTIONALLY MAINTAINED.
The transmission has been flushed twice for no specific reason. The only oil
that has been used in this engine is Mobile 1, changed every 3k miles. This
vehicle has been looked over by some of the best mechanics and cared for by a very
passionate owner. That is how this Cadillac remained in its condition
throughout its years. Inside and out, you can expect the best! Clean CARFAX! I would not hesitate to drive this to California and back to Maryland if given the opportunity! The
INTERIOR: The luxurious, supple leather is still very soft and plush. There are
no rips or tares anywhere. This vehicle has not been smoked in, so you can
expect no burn holes or odors. The genuine wood grain is absolutely beautiful
and there are no cracks. With more than necessary room for 7, your passengers
will be extremely comfortable with rear heated captain’s chairs, rear independent
climate control and radio controls. They will also be thoroughly entertained with
the rear DVD system. The full range BOSE stereo makes everything sound live!
There a factory subwoofer in the rear to provide deep lows to give you the
whole effect. The crisp highs are perfect to balance this system, all of which
can be customized in the equalizer settings. Also in the rear is the original cargo net,
and a first aid kit for emergencies or convenience. Up front there is a
convenient touch screen display with no flaws. This also will navigate you
through those unsure times. The navigation disk is still equipped with the
vehicle. The dual driver and passenger climate control works great on heat and
freezing cold A/C. The heated seats are amazing, with 6 different heat settings
for driver and passenger, you can decide if you want the bottom heated or both
top and bottom to keep you warm. Heated mirrors are equipped, also a nice
luxury. Adjustable foot pedals are convenient
for all drivers, and the memory settings are also very useful for multiple
drivers. All of the bells and whistles are in great working order! The
EXTERIOR: What would you expect? It’s a Cadillac! The WHITE DIAMOND paint still
shimmers in the sunlight and the clear coat is still perfectly smooth. I know
this vehicle has been garaged since 2008, so you can expect NO RUST anywhere.
This Escalade is equipped with the tow package and there is an ‘AccuTrac’ brake
controller installed. This was used for light duty, small trailers on short
distanced. The max towing capacity is 7,800 lbs. and a convenient 31 gallon
fuel tank for fewer stops at the pump. This SUV was made to handle anything you
can throw at it. The chrome wheels are in great shape, I did not notice any
scratches, and the 4 way disc brakes are in great shape too. The matching name brand tires have a lot of tread on them! The running boards
are nice and straight, making it easy to get into the SUV. The load bearing
roof racks look like they have never been used. The
MOTOR/HANDLING: This Escalade was obviously a daily driver with highway miles
and was used on many trips. It has been proven itself to still be very reliable
and start every time! There were no complaints when my boss was telling me
about his Cadillac. When I drove it for about 45 minutes I knew what he was
talking about. The powered steering is effortless, but responsive and has an
excellent U-turn radius. The acceleration is there! There is no issue getting
up to speed however you want. The gears shift very smooth, and the transition
is very quiet! The engine sounds strong, but elegant. The disc brakes are very
effective at stopping the Escalade, and like everything else, it was very
smooth and quiet. There is no wobbling when you brake at high speeds. The independent
front suspension does a phenomenal job at absorbing the imperfections on some
of the roughest roads. When maneuvering, you aren’t thrown around. I do not
know how, but no matter what the vehicle is doing, you remain still and relaxed
even in the back seats. There is no noise coming from the wheels at any speed,
making the entire ride soothing and quiet. The All-Wheel
Drive is great for any terrain, and especially for all of the weather elements.
Most AWD SUV’s are not good on gas, but not this one. Considering what it can
do, size and function, 13/17 mpg city/highway is actually really good. I am
trying to get 12 mpg in my F-250. It doesn’t
matter where you live, what you do; I think anyone could own an Escalade. The
ESV is the extended version, but it is not difficult to operate. The electronic
park aid makes parking or judging distances behind you very simple; the mirrors
make it easy to see everything around you; the adjustable seats and pedals can
fit anyone! If you are still reading this, THANK YOU.
This is your next vehicle. Its low reserve makes this realistically affordable
(you don’t really want to pay $15k for the same thing do you?); it’s in
excellent shape, religiously maintained with proof, mature owner that is
passionate about the vehicle. If you keep up with regular maintenance, this
will last you well over 100k miles. All of the big maintenance is already done,
and has never left anyone stranded. Start the year off right, and get what you
have been wanting. It’s a beautiful Cadillac that needs one thing, YOU!

2014 Cadillac XTS Vsport
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Not long after bombing around the Milford Road Course in the new CTS Vsport, Cadillac invited me to try out its other new-for-2014 Vsport model: the XTS. And despite using the same twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS, the Vsport package takes on a whole new meaning here in Cadillac's softer flagship.
In the CTS, this trim perfectly bridges the gap between the standard models and the hardcore CTS-V, and is focused on being the best-driving version of the range without a standalone V badge. The XTS, however, has no proper V model, so the Vsport becomes the new range-topper for that line by default. But unlike the CTS Vsport, which uses rear-wheel-drive architecture and is focused on driving dynamics above all, the XTS is geared toward a much different customer.
The entire XTS experience is far more concerned with plush comfort than handling prowess, and while this Vsport model certainly ups the ante with more power and some mild suspension and steering tweaks, it's not exactly what we'd call a particularly engaging experience. But that doesn't mean it isn't good.
Steve Carlisle replaces Johan de Nysschen as head of Cadillac
Wed, Apr 18 2018Johan de Nysschen, a longtime automotive industry executive, is out the door at Cadillac after four years at the helm of GM's flagship luxury brand. Steve Carlisle will replace de Nysschen as General Motors senior vice president and president, Cadillac. Carlisle previously served as president and managing director of GM Canada. Travis Hester will replace Carlisle in that role, starting immediately. "We appreciate Johan's efforts over the last four years in setting a stronger foundation for Cadillac," said General Motors President Dan Ammann. That strong foundation is mostly seen overseas. Cadillac has seen record sales in China under de Nysschen's watch, but has continued to flounder in its home market of the United States with market share significantly lower than rival brands like Audi, BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes-Benz. Growth in the U.S. market is mostly happening with crossovers and SUVs, and Cadillac has been trailing its German and Japanese rivals on that front. The brand-new XT4 is seen as a big potential sales booster for the automaker, but its late arrival has already hurt the brand's sales figures here in America. "Looking forward, the world is changing rapidly, and, beginning with the launch of the new XT4, it is paramount that we capitalize immediately on the opportunities that arise from this rate of change," said Ammann. "This move will further accelerate our efforts in that regard." Carlisle will report directly to Ammann in his role as the head of the Cadillac brand. Related Video:
