I have up for auction my beautiful 2004 Cadillac Escalde EXT. I have owned this truck for approx more than 8 years. I am the second owner. I bought it from a couple who was retired in New hampshire. The wife didn't want it after about a year cause it was to large for her. I own it clear and free of any liens. It has NEVER been involved in any accident. It is taking up alot of space in my garage and need the room for my antique muscle car coming home from the body shop soon. During my ownership I have treated this like my baby. Unfortunately, for the past couple years it has been sitting in my garage collecting dust. Time for someone else to enjoy this great american ride. Some of the car facts: Its Leather, carpet and wood are in IMMACULATE condition. The exterior is also Immaculate but for one small rock chip on the hood. It has the automatic leveling for carrying heavy loads or trailer something. The bed has the factory rubber mat. The side compartments on the bed have the locks to secure your items. It has the sectional cover for the bed. It has the Xenon lights. The rear window can come out if you need to carry a long item from your local home improvement store. The previous owner and I have both continued to use Mobil Synthetic oil in it. The last oil change done to it was 6k miles ago, still have another 9k left. Does NOT burn or leak any fluids. Tires are in excellent shape. All electrical work as they should. The only car I have seen in the same condition as mine is one that you can find on the show room floor. There you'll spend close to four times of what this truck is valued at. ( I have checked out new ones, I know)  The reserve is less than what KBB states. This truck has NEVER seen snow from the previous owner  I used the truck for our vacation vehicle because of its economy and reliability to Florida and back several times. I have NEVER let it see snow. I  only used in the summer months.  This item does not leave my property until patment has cleared. It is sold as is where is. No warranty implied or given. If you have any questions,,,, ASK !

Cadillac's striking Escala concept is reportedly headed for production

Mon, Mar 19 2018

Cadillac is reportedly planning a new flagship four-door, and it won't be based on its alphanumeric naming system a la the CT6. It'll be the Escala, the stunning concept fastback it revealed in 2016 in Pebble Beach. The news comes via Autoline, which cites AutoForecast Solutions. The Escala is said to be planned for production starting in December 2021 at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant, which currently builds the CT6, Buick LaCrosse and Chevrolet Volt and Impala. That suggests the Escala, which was branded as a four-door coupe, will likely keep that layout. It'll also be built on the CT6 platform. Cadillac has been talking about fitting a flagship sedan above the CT6 for years, and the Escala's design language has been influencing bits of other Cadillac models, from the refresh of the CT6 to the broad grille shape on the new XT4 crossover, which debuts at the New York Auto Show next week. The concept Escala featured a wide, muscular stance and a minimalist, white mid-century modern interior aesthetic, with tail lamps that evoke waterfowl in flight. Interestingly, it came equipped with a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 with cylinder deactivation, which Cadillac President Johan De Nysschen said at the time was "absolutely worthy of a car of this caliber." But with such a long horizon before production, there's obviously lots of time to develop a more pragmatic production model and cue ravenous speculation. Or, for that matter, to decide to rename it something like the CT8. OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.

2016 Cadillac CTS-V prepares to kick ass, take names

Tue, Jan 13 2015

Some stories write themselves. This post on the North American International Auto Show debut of the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is one of them. This 200-mile-per-hour sedan pilfers the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the Chevy Corvette Z06, and puts it to the same tire-devastating effect, offering up 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic – please join us in a moment of silence for the dearly departed manual CTS-V – then dispatches the force-induced thrust to a very large, sticky set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. To ensure the CTS-V can tear your face off with lateral Gs as well as accelerative Gs, Cadillac stiffened the car's structure by 25 percent, fitted magnetic ride control and fitted the aforementioned tires. Beyond the mechanicals, a substantial rear spoiler, front splitter and diffuser improve grip through aerodynamics. Keeping drivers pinned during all this tire shredding and face tearing is the task of meaty, two-piece Recaro sport seats, which are found in a luxuriously appointed cabin, complete with 4G LTE connectivity, a Bose stereo and Siri Eyes Free. There's even a Performance Data Recorder, which will be on hand to record your miscues if (or perhaps when) the car's extreme abilities outpace your own talents. Take a look at our array of live images from the CTS-V's official debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
