2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT 4 Door Truck.  Rare Factory Blue Color.  Topped off with a set of 26 INCH DUB DIRTY DOG WHEELS WITH KUMHO 305-30-26 INCH TIRES approximately 60% tread remaining.

First of all this truck has been my daily driver for the last 2 years.  I specifically looked for this color when I was looking for an EXT.   The truck has 118k original miles, and has been very well maintained.  No known mechanical issues at all.  I have used nothing but Mobil 1 Synthetic oil.   CLEAN AUTO CHECK WITH A SCORE OF 82.

  • Sunroof
  • Heated Leather.  Driver side heated seat quit working this winter.  Passenger side works fine.
  • Disc Changer
  • Power Pedals
  • Power Mirrors, windows, etc..
  • AWD
  • 6.0 Engine with Factory Tow Package.  I have never towed anything with the truck.
  • Dual Climate Control.
  • Included are Factory Escalade wheels and tires.  They are in great shape
  • 13-16mpg.
This truck runs and drives excellent.  The paint looks great, the wheels are in amazing shape, no curb rash, no pitting, I use the factory wheels and tires in the winter.  The pictures speak for how sharp this EXT really is.

Paint 8/10- A few bubbles are starting where the running board meets the cab corner.  (See pic).  Misc. other scratches and dings as normal wear for a vehicle with 118k and being 10 years old.  The third brake light has a crack in it.  Does not effect the way it works just a crack.

Interior 8/10- The inside of this truck is also in great shape.  Just normal wear and tear.  Clean, no funny smells or odors, overall a clean truck.

I have really loved this truck.  The only reason I'm looking to sell is I'm going to buy an 07 EXT.  Please do not ask about a reserve price, just bid what you want to pay.  I will say that the reserve price is set below NADA book value and includes the 26 inch wheels.  If you want a really nice, sharp, Escalade truck with a nice set of wheels, and you don't want to pay 70,000 plus for a new one.  This one is for you!

PLEASE READ!!
We are a WV used car dealer.  This Truck has been my personal driver for the last 2 years.  Please understand this EXT is a used vehicle. While it is in overall great shape, normal wear and tear, and disclosed flaws are pictured and or discussed in the ad.  Inspections of this truck are HIGHLY encouraged BEFORE the auction is over.  Please don't bid if you have no intention of buying.  Please no tire kickers, dreamers, or joy riders.  We have done tons of business on EBAY, but have recently opened a new account.  We have been in business 6 years and have a great reputation in the community.  0 feedback bidders must message before bidding.

$199.00 DOC Fee applied to winning bid.  This includes title work, a 60 day temporary Tag with a valid insurance card, and delivery.
Please message with any question or concerns.  Buyer is responsible for shipping.  We will hold vehicle and work with your shipping company as long as it's been paid for.

Payment-  $199.00 paypal deposit due at the end of auction.  Full payment is cash or certified funds within 3 days of auction ending.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Cool car technology is cool until it breaks

Fri, Mar 27 2015

Ah, technology – the beautiful date that impresses all your friends but costs you a fortune to keep happy, up-to-date, and working. Automotive News puts some numbers to the economic toll we're paying to jockey this technological Trojan horse, an analysis it sums up with "Technology is great - until you have to replace it." Back in 2000, for instance, you could replace a Cadillac Escalade taillight lens for $56.08, or replace the entire unit for $220.49. Crack the rear lens on your 2015 Escalade and you have to buy a new unit for $795 - there's no such thing as just replacing a lens anymore. What about headlights? It was $210 for an Escalade headlight in 2000, it's $1,650 for the current unit (pictured). This is nothing we didn't know, these are just hard numbers to demonstrate it. Edmunds recently provided the same with its sledgehammer-bashing of the 2015 Ford F-150, Tesla Model S buyers have been shrieking about repair costs to their electric sedan's all-aluminum bodywork, and used-car sites are full of articles about which expensive-to-repair features to steer clear of if you want to avoid big repair bills. Those expensive bits increase the price of a car - Kelley Blue Book says the average price of a car is now more than $33,000 - and that raises rates for repairs and insurance. This comes in spite of some carmakers that have been collaborating with insurance companies and repair shops at the design stage in order to engineer parts that are easier and less expensive to replace. But the tech can have its cost-saving benefits: a 2011 study by the Highway Loss Data Institute found that Volvos fitted with that company's City Safety feature "filed 27 percent fewer property-damage liability claims" than luxury SUVs without it, and just last month the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety called adaptive headlights one of the top four crash-preventing technologies on cars today (after coming out against them in 2006). So yes, the technology costs a mint when it needs to be fixed - but being able to avoid an accident in the first place might make it worth it. Cadillac scraps three-row CUV plans

Fri, 23 May 2014

Crossovers are one of the hottest automotive segments on the planet. Apparently, the idea of mixing the practicality of a station wagon with the looks of an SUV appeals to people whether they are in Cleveland or Shanghai because nearly every automaker is jumping into the market. So it was no surprise when early rumors suggested Cadillac was planning two, new CUVs to fit above and below the SRX. But things might have changed since then.
New rumblings indicate Caddy is taking a different route. Instead of two crossovers, only the compact is on the way, and the larger, three-row CUV on the Lambda platform to sit between the SRX and Escalade may be a goner. According to Ward's Auto, General Motors thinks that the other three-row, Lambda vehicles like the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia compete too closely with the proposed Cadillac. The decision comes fairly close to the 2017 intended production date.
As far back as 2010, this Lambda-platform based CUV was considered highly likely for production. However, Cadillac Senior Vice President Bob Ferguson was somewhat cooler about it when he discussed the new crossover briefly last year. He said the model could use the Escalade name, despite its unibody chassis, but no decision had been made yet to actually produce it.
