I am selling my 1995 Cadillac Eldorado.  The car was bought by my neighbor when new and was driven very rarely due to health reasons.  I bought the car last May when it had just over 20k miles and drove it for the last year while on rotation for school, and I made a few changes along the way.  The car was basically a 15 year old new car...  I have replaced a wheel bearing on the drivers side and also a cv joint, I did both of these while I had it apart and they were cheap enough..lol    I swapped the rims to some 18's with the same as factory offset and swapped out the suspension.  I have listed below, the parts I ordered from bagriders.com for the air ride, but it doesn't list every thing I bought... I also retrofitted non-electronic ride struts up front that would work with the air bags.  I also swapped out sway bar links up front with replacements that would flex a bit better.  I also installed a quick coupling fitting on the air tank in the trunk and have an air hose included that will reach the tires in case of a flat.  I also have a few parts to include to help in case of leaks, or busted lines...I am including the extra tubing and cutter as well.  I spent the extra money to get the all metal swivel fittings to prevent a weak point in the air system.  When I installed the air ride system, I went ahead and bought a stereo amp install kit with heavy guage cable, underhood fuse mount, and 2 distribution blocks, one for power and one to run the grounds...I started working and never had time to detail out the trunk, but left plenty of slack in the wiring and air lines to allow the components to be mounted whever I chose...or you choose... Now, I have no time to spend working on it and need to move it along to someone that will take care of it...The tires are new (less than 200 miles)and the miles are right and correct, but will change as this is my daily driver, and I had been driving it 400 miles per week over the summer so it is reliable... Since the factory suspension is no longer on the car, the check suspension light is on, I have the resistors for the front, and will include those with the car, and I have not found the resistors for the rear to turn the light off.. and like I mentioned in the info section above, the car has been modified and will ride and drive different than a factory car with factory suspension...the following link will take you to the videos, just click on my user name and look over the other eldorado videos...be sure to read their descriptions for more info as well...and No paypal please on this car...And I will wait until the check clears before shipping/delivering...which you need to set up on your own, but I can drive it to meet somewhere no too far away...  I am located in Beckley WV, which is about an hour south of Charleston WV and an hour north of Bluefield VA/WV but often return back home to Pikeville KY so meeting or dropping off the car in this area could be arranged just message me with any questions...
Go to the following sites to see details on the control setup that I am running, thee-level controlled over wifi by the i-level, which uses an app downloaded on an ipod, ipad, iphone or other devices... and allows adjustment of the suspension even while driving, but dont adjust it while driving, could be dangerous...or illegal... and it even has an auto level feature, to maintain ride height with a load in the trunk or more people in the car...or you can just use the rocker switch mounted inside..to choose one of the preset heights...  if not familiar with it...read up on it in the following links as they can explain it better than I can...  also you can download the i-level app to see what it looks like..it is free..
Here is a link to the site where I bought everything, so check the prices to see what a deal this is!!!!
The items I bought are listed below...and this does not include everything it took to install the suspension, that involved a lot of time, elbow grease and calculating to make sure my ride height would be level and be drive-able without destroying the undercarriage... I set it up so that if a catastophic event occured within the system, even with all the air out of the bags, I would still be able to drive it to a safe place..maybe drive slow, but be able to drive it...  and the videos show my setup running at 175 psi...I can bump it up to 200 psi for faster airing up, but I figure the life of the compressor would be a lot longer with a lower pressure...so I left it there...

Cadillac Blackwing models will finally be revealed in February

Thu, Jan 7 2021

It's been a little over a year and a half since Cadillac reworked the V line of performance sedans and teased something above its regular V cars. In that time, we've seen camouflaged prototypes and a teaser for a manual shifter with a 3D-printed topper, but hardly anything about specifications. That should all change next month. The company released a teaser announcing the reveal of the Cadillac Blackwing variants of the CT4-V and CT5-V on Feb. 1. The teaser hardly shows anything of the cars except a brief shot of someone shifting, and what sounds like a fairly ferocious V8 exhaust note. Based on prototypes and rumors, we're expecting the CT5-V to use a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, rather than the unique DOHC turbocharged V8 from the CT6-V, and the CT4-V will likely have a turbocharged V6. The CT5-V has also been spied with quite a bit of tire, 305-mm in the rear and 275-mm in the front. Based on these car's similarly powered predecessors, the ATS-V and CTS-V, they should be extremely entertaining. Related Video:

Editors’ Picks January 2023 | Acura Integra, the new CR-V and more

Wed, Feb 1 2023

A new year means another long year of testing and evaluating new metal coming from the automotive industry — we know, tough job, right? It also means another year of new cars making it to our EditorsÂ’ Picks status, and weÂ’re starting out January with a bang. In total, eight new vehicles were EditorsÂ’ Picks this month, including some brand-new models like the redesigned Honda CR-V, Cadillac Lyriq and the ever-controversial Acura Integra. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get an EditorsÂ’ Pick designation. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in January that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2023 Honda CR-V 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Touring front three quarter View 22 Photos Quick take: An all-around winner, the Honda CR-V is spacious, features easily used technology and looks better than ever. We recommend the efficient hybrid model, but the standard powertrain is a solid option, too. Score: 9.0. What it competes with: Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, Nissan Rogue, VW Tiguan, Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, Mitsubishi Outlander Pros: Clean styling; massive interior; efficient engine options; solid infotainment system; many standard safety features. Cons: No base trim levels; lack of specialty options such as plug-in hybrid and off-road models. From the editors: News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "The CR-V is just really good in a lot of ways that really matter. It's enormous inside. It has a clean, stylish exterior and interior. It's solidly equipped. The base engine is pretty underwhelming, but that's rectified with the more powerful, more refined and more efficient hybrid. It simply doesn't do anything badly." Senior Editor James Riswick — "The 2023 Honda CR-V is at its best as the hybrid. While the turbo base engine carries over virtually unchanged, the hybrid is new for 2023. To put it simply, itÂ’s just better to drive. Honda engineers managed to simulate shifts when the gas engine kicks on, providing a more natural driving experience and eliminating the blender-like droning of the outgoing car.

2024 Porsche Panamera; Rivian's surprise; Cadillac electrifies V | Autoblog Podcast #823

Fri, Mar 15 2024

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Associate Editor Byron Hurd. They start off discussing a couple of vehicles they've both driven — the 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor and the 2024 Volvo C40 Recharge 2WD. From there, they pivot to Byron's first drive of the 2024 Porsche Panamera, and then from there it's on to more electrified luxury in the form of the new Cadillac Lyriq. After that, it's on to news. Rivian made a big splash last week. Not to be upstaged, Cadillac decided to get in on the action by teasing an electric V model, the Opulent Velocity Concept. After that, it's time for a future classic; this week, it's the Dodge Magnum. They end the episode by spending listener Isaiah's money on some used stick-shift transportation.  Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com.
