This ’76 Eldorado is in excellent condition with only 42k original miles!!!
The long clean lines of this Cadillac are complimented by their signature chrome trim and accented by a white convertible top. A very clean and original white Leather Interior finishes off this well optioned Eldorado perfectly. The door panels, carpeting and gauges are all in very good condition.
This Eldorado features all of the luxury items Cadillac is known for such as Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt & Telescopic Wheel, Cruise Control, Defrost, and power front seats.
This Eldorado is equipped with Cadillac’s 500 cid V8.Since the Eldo has no driveshaft going to the rear axle, 6 passengers can comfortably sit inside the cabin. ’76 is also the first year for standard 4-wheel disc brakes and the black trimmed wheel covers.
The 1976 Eldorado Convertible was end of an era Cadillac, and since then the Eldorado ragtop has rapidly become more collectible than ever. So stop in, drop the top and see how nice this Caddy really is, down to The Last Detail!
As shown on the pictures, the blue exterior and white interior combination looks stunning and this car gets all the attention and thumbs up on the road.
This Cadillac starts right up with little effort and runs very smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly and the suspension keeps the car firmly planted when cruising.
Mechanically the car runs very great, starts right up, 80 mph down the highway nice and smooth.
For reliability and safety, all the following repairs were done in 2011 and I only drove 1500 miles in this beauty since.
· The convertible top was replaced,
· The carpet was replaced on the floor
· 4 new disc brakes and Pads, 2 new rotors.
· New brake Li
· 2 new wheel bearing fron
· New steering damper
· AC conversion to R134, ICE Cold AC
· 4 new Toyo tires
· 2 air shocks (automatic system in place but has been replaced by two air shocks adjustable)
· New radiator
· New valve cover gaskets (2)
· New transmission pan gasket
· New oil pan gasket
· New manifold gasket
· New intake gasket
This car was obviously never winter driven and has seen very little rain. I have tons of pictures of the car showing every little detail. The underneath of the car speaks for itself, it is mint.
I am selling it because I have no choice, I am in the middle of a divorce.
Please do not hesitate to ask any question to help you bid in confidence on this beauty.

Weekly Recap: 2016 CTS-V gives Cadillac new momentum for the new year
Sat, Dec 27 2014It's been a rough year for Cadillac. The historic luxury carmaker been in the news for all of the wrong reasons: Declining sales, ditching its advertising agency and the relocation of its headquarters from Detroit to New York. But in late December, Cadillac reminded everyone what it does best: Build some of the rawest and most compelling luxury sedans in the world, as evidenced by the 2016 CTS-V. This monster churns out 640 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Sound familiar? That's the Corvette Z06 engine, and it makes this CTS the most powerful production Cadillac ever. It also puts the sporting divisions of the Germans on notice. The new CTS-V easily overpowers the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic and its 5.5-liter biturbo V8 rated at 577 hp, and the BMW M5 (with the competition pack) and its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that pushes out 575 hp. The rear-wheel drive Cadillac can sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds, which is close to the 3.5-second time turned in by the 4Matic-driven E63 S, and a bit quicker than the 4.1 seconds posted by the M5. With Magnetic Ride Control, General Motors' stout eight-speed automatic transmission (also used in the Corvette), Brembo brakes and a carbon-fiber option package that pretty much builds your car out of carbon fiber – it's clear this Cadillac means business. Truth be told, we expected this CTS-V to deliver. It's been a serious sports sedan for a decade, and the recent generation and its 556-hp arrogance have been particularly memorable. But notice what we're doing here? We're talking about product. Not who makes Cadillac's ads, or if the brand's headquarters has a mailing address in NYC. Like the 2016 ATS-V that's due in the spring, the debut of the 2016 CTS-V (on sale in late summer) is a shot in the arm for Cadillac, and its arrival comes during time of transition. The brand is trying to reinvent itself as a modern luxury maker. It wants new customers, a different image and obviously more sales. Those things are going to take time, but with a 640-hp sledgehammer of a sports sedan on tap for next year, Cadillac can still maintain some of its swagger through all of the change. But if you're into that stuff – and we are – this 1984 Audi Sport Quattro is sure to get your blood flowing.
How Cadillac improved power output in 2016 ELR by 25 percent
Tue, Jun 2 2015Earlier this year, Cadillac announced that the 2016 ELR would come with a big price drop and a powertrain that packs 25 percent more power output. That's a lot more oomph, but it didn't sound like the Caddy engineers made any major changes to the engine or motors. So, what happened? Let's refresh our memories with the numeric details. The 2016 car is 1.5 seconds quicker to 60 miles per hour than the 2014 model (there was no 2015), down to 6.4 seconds. The 2014 put out 295 pound-feet of torque. For 2016, it will be 373 lb-ft. The specific breakdown of the various components in the powertrain has not been disclosed, but from what we can tell, the two electric motors and the 1.4-liter inline-four engine in the new ELR are not that much different than those in the old one. Sam Abuelsamid, senior research analyst at Navigant Research (and former writer here at Autoblog) said that any of the unspecified upgrades would be difficult to tell on a part-by-part basis, but the overall effect will be noticeable. "The changes to the ELR as I understand them are analogous to getting more performance out of a 1965 Mustang with the entry version of the 289 cubic-inch V8. You can replace the carburetor with a larger version that enables more air and fuel to flow into the engine, thus producing more power. The basic engine hasn't changed, but power capability is being unleashed by feeding it more." "Cadillac has changed components in the power electronics to enable more current flow into the motor and thus produce more torque. When you do this in the Mustang, you probably need to replace the rear axle gears and use a beefier clutch to transmit the power to the wheels. Similarly, the ELR probably has some upgraded clutches, bearings, and gears to withstand the increased total output." Cadillac spokesperson David Caldwell told AutoblogGreen in an email that the new ELR does indeed have more than just new lines of code. "One could not 'reflash' a previous ELR to get the performance of a 2016," Caldwell said. "If one only changed software you would not get the performance upgrade fully, as the 2016 creates higher current, more power. So these have been upgraded physically – hardware.
