1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville.  White with red and white interior.  Very sound, RUST FREE  Nevada original vehicle.  Repainted about 50 years ago.  Runs and drives. Does not smoke. I believe the mileage to be original due to the many service records I have for the last 40 years, and the condition of the vehicle, but I cannot guarantee it. Does not smoke, but needs tune-up.  Interior is all original, but seats need to be redone as does the paint.  Black vinyl top was taken off and it needs correct top put back on.  New Cooker  wide whites.  Needs a new dash pad.  Vehicle now has a single 4 BBL intake and carb.  Included is the 2-4 BBL intake and carbs.  I do not have the batwing air cleaner.  Have owned this car for years and have driven around our local streets, but have never been on the freeway with it. Serial number on motor matches vin number.  All power windows work as does power seat.  Radio works, but power antenna does not go  up.  I believe all brake lights, headlights and turn signals work.  Clear title.  Original owners manual included. Sold in as is condition. Buyer responsible for shipping.   I have extra Eldorado parts I need to sell, including aluminum bumpers, stainless rear panels, etc.  You are welcome to come and inspect this guy.  Just give me a call.  Dennis---775-882-7620 or 775-315-8265.  Very nice orginal  aluminum floor mats included.(red rubber)

Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad

European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.

GM slashes prices in China as sales falter

Thu, May 14 2015

Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales.
