"Absolutely Amazing" 1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille This is the Nicest Coupe you will Find
Up for auction is my killer 67 Cadillac. The car has been featured in multiple magazine, Featured at Sema and has just won at both the Good-Guys Nationals in Scottsdale and at the Del Mars Nationals. The car is AMAZING, with the right color and the right look. I call the Caddy Nemesis.
I have done so many body modifications that the list just keep coming, here’s the short list: All new paint “Bentley Burnt Orange” with no bondo on the car used as filler. All trim holes were welded in and side marker lights have been removed and a plates welded in to fill the holes. The car took 5 1/2 month of long boarding to get it this straight. The 67 has a New interior installed, I designed and built a 65 Cadillac interior, wrapped dash, wrapped steering wheel and all new carpet. The trunk was designed to hide everything with all removable panels. For sound I installed a 1500 watt Amp with "7" speakers and one 10” sub with bass control, 2, 6 by 9 speakers in the rear with two 5 by 7 under the dash and one 10 by 6 dual plane in the dash, its a lot of very clean sound. All New suspension was installed with 4 ply Firestone bags and 4 value nitrogen shocks with oversized sway bars. The Air ride was custom built by the Bagman and is a true four corner air-ride system. The motor is also new, "OG" 429 CI with 500 miles on it, New carburetor, New drive shaft, New power steering, New water pump, new 3 core aluminum Radiator. Custom made rims by American Racing and chromed for the Cadillac, Dual 850 CCA batteries, New chrome 140 Amp Alternator, Dual exhaust with flow masters, all new Chrome, All new stainless, Disc Brakes in the front with 13” rotors, new front windshield and one cool Custom front grill. This is my car, I built it, if you have any questions please ask them prior to close of auction. The car is being sold AS IS without any warranty. If you want to inspect the Caddy, make sure it is done prior to close of auction. If you are the winning bidder all funds will be due in 48 hours of close of auction. My car is for sale locally and this auction can be ended without notice. Call me at 619 972 7073 if you have any questions. Best of luck. Bid Fast and Enjoy the Ride....

2019 Lincoln Nautilus vs 2018 Cadillac XT5: How they compare on paper
Fri, Jun 29 2018There will no doubt be endless ads touting the "first-ever" 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, which is accurate, but it's really just a mid-cycle update of an existing midsize luxury SUV attached to a greatly welcomed name change. Frankly, Lincoln could've called it the Diamond Jubilee Bill Blass and it would've been an improvement. Whatever. The MKX is dead. Long live the Nautilus. Now, speaking of SUVs with silly alphanumeric names, the 2018 Cadillac XT5 lines up remarkably well with the 2018 MKX. Besides hailing from American luxury brands, they have virtually identical exterior dimensions and similar standard engines as well. Cross-shopping seems assured. But what does the change to the 2019 Nautilus mean for how it compares to the XT5? Cosmetic changes might tweak exterior dimensions by a tenth of an inch here or there, but the interior should remain the same. The Nautilus gets a new engine, though, so check out our spreadsheet below to see if America's (and Canada's) luxury SUVs still stack up. Conclusions The switch to a turbocharged four-cylinder base engine means the XT5 and MKX/Nautilus are no longer on equal terms under the hood. While the Cadillac now has a considerable power advantage, the Lincoln Nautilus could save you hundreds every year based on its likely fuel economy (the 2.0-liter turbo engine, albeit with a different transmission, is in the mechanically similar Ford Edge). Besides the new engine for 2019, the Nautilus also gains an eight-speed automatic and an automatic stop start system. Both of those elements are already included on the XT5. It was announced that the 2019 Nautilus will start at $41,335, which compares to the base MKX at $39,960 and the 2018 Cadillac XT5 at $41,590. In other words, the Lincoln is still less expensive, but just barely. Standard feature content is also comparable, especially as the Nautilus gains standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are already standard on the XT5. So really, no matter what they're called, the Cadillac and Lincoln should continue to be neck-and-neck competitors. 2019 Lincoln Nautilus Photos View 20 Photos 2018 Cadillac XT5 Photos View 28 Photos 2018 Lincoln MKX Photos View 57 Photos Related Video: Cadillac Lincoln Car Buying Crossover SUV Luxury Comparison consumer cadillac xt5 lincoln nautilus
2013 Cadillac XTS [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jan 2013The Cadillac Of Stopgaps
As confusing as most alphanumeric car names have gotten in recent years, at least one constant has been that the letter "X" is generally indicative of a crossover. Then why did General Motors use this letter on its new 2013 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan? Well, for that, we'll have to look to the world of mathematics where "X" stands for an unknown variable or a placeholder. Now we're talking. The XTS is just an interim product sitting at the top of Cadillac's four-door food chain until the brand gets a true flagship in place. That sounds like a lot of resources to spend on what will likely be a one-and-done model, but the automaker needed to get something - anything - to replace the DTS.
So here you have the 2013 XTS. A big luxury sedan that was created to bridge the gap between Cadillac's recent past and its pending future. Going into our week with this XTS knowing that it was a stopgap measure proved to be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, we know (or hope) that this car will act as a baseline for future high-end Cadillac models, but at the same time, we couldn't help but be mindful of past stopgap models, albeit in more entry-level segments, like the Cimarron and Catera.
