2004 Cadillac Deville Dts--4dr Raven Black Exterior-interior--well Maintained on 2040-cars
Ramona, California, United States
My husband and I are the second owners of this beautiful 2004 Cadillac DeVille DTS which we purchased in 2008 but have decided to sell it because my husband's health limits his driving. The exterior is Black Raven and the interior is black with wood trim. It has the ultrasonic rear parking assist, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel and a huge trunk capacity. The original selling price was around $50,000.00. We have been diligent in maintaining this vehicle and during the last two years have had the engine removed and all the gaskets and seals replaced at a cost of over $3,000.00. Cadillac is well-known for their window problems and the two back windows will need repaired if that is a priority for you. Not that long ago we put new tires on this car and purchased a battery so it is also in excellent condition. We have never had an accident with this car and I don't see any exterior damage other than normal aging. The interior is in excellent condition; the exterior paint doesn't shine as it originally did and the spring that holds up the arm rest in the back seat is gone. This car has leather seats that both cool and heat and automatic seat adjustment with AC vents for the back seat. This is one of the smoothest driving cars we've owned and has many miles left on it. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment to view or drive this vehicle. It is located in Ramona, California. All repair records are available. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle after purchase. Deposit of US $500.00 within 24 hours of auction close with full payment required within 7 days of auction close. Payment can be made by Paypal, cash, or Cashiers Check. Buyer is responsible for any additional fees of state, county, city taxes as well as title and registration fees. |

GM veteran Bryan Nesbitt tapped to head Buick design
Sat, Jun 6 2015General Motors styling veteran Bryan Nesbitt (pictured above) took over a new role on Monday as executive director of global Buick design and global architectures. Andrew Smith, who previously did that job and also coordinated the look for Cadillac, has remained in charge of the pen at Caddy with this shift. Nesbitt rose to prominence when he designed the Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to Automotive News. He joined GM in 2001 and has been there ever since in multiple high-level roles. In 2007, he was appointed vice president of design for North America and was later briefly general manager of Cadillac in 2009-2010. Nesbitt took over as the vice president of GM's international operations design in China in 2011. This shuffle also moves Ken Parkinson, currently styling boss for Chevrolet trucks, to China as design vice president there. In addition, John Cafaro becomes the person in charge of the look for Chevy globally, rather than previously splitting that role between cars and trucks with Parkinson. GM CEO to meet with U.S. lawmakers over job cuts
Fri, Nov 30 2018WASHINGTON — General Motors Co Chief Executive Mary Barra plans to visit Capitol Hill next week to discuss the company's plans to halt production at five plants in North America next year and cut up to 15,000 jobs, two congressional aides said on Friday. GM has come under harsh criticism from lawmakers from both major political parties, and from President Donald Trump, since Monday when it announced the biggest restructuring for the U.S. No. 1 carmaker since its bankruptcy a decade ago. Barra is expected to meet with lawmakers from Michigan and Ohio, where GM plans to shutter three plants, as well as senior leaders in Congress. GM did not immediately comment. Barra has been calling lawmakers this week to explain the decision to end production. Trump has threatened to revoke subsidies for GM. The Detroit automaker plans to halt production next year at three assembly plants: the Lordstown small-car factory near Youngstown, Ohio; the Detroit-Hamtramck complex in Detroit; and the Oshawa, Ontario, assembly complex near Toronto. It will also stop building several models now assembled at those plants, including the Chevrolet Cruze, the Chevrolet Volt hybrid, the Cadillac CT6 and the Buick LaCrosse. Additionally, GM plans to shutter the Warren transmission plant outside Detroit and a plant that makes electric motors and drivetrains outside Baltimore, Maryland. The Cruze compact car will be discontinued in the U.S. market in 2019, although GM may continue building it in Mexico for other markets, Barra said. Reporting by David Shepardson. Related Video:
