I am selling a 2003 Cadillac Deville DHS/Talisman Edition. This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), was never in any type of accident, and has always been babied and dealer maintained. It has been elderly owned, and has only 63K original miles on it. The outside is black, and the inside is black. The car has every option you can think of and is fully fully loaded- leather, sunroof, rear electric sunshade, heated front/rear seats, CD/cassette, chrome rims, chrome exterior accents, mahogany steering wheel, rear parking sensors, memory seats, onstar, keyless entry, etc. It is in great mechanical condition and has always been dealer serviced by the owner (some records are available as well). It needs nothing, and will drive you anywhere. We have 3 keys with remotes, and original owners manual with the car. EXTERIOR: The outside of the car is in mint condition. It was always garage kept, and definitely shows it. No dents/scratches, nothing like that. Only a hairline scratch here and there. Paint shines like new, very glossy and looks beautiful! INTERIOR: The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats all look great, heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car. MECHANICALLY Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Given the mileage and condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere. As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for an ultra-low mileage Cadillac Deville that was babied from day one, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Cadillac Elmiraj Concept brings big coupe style to Pebble Beach [w/videos]
Thu, 15 Aug 2013Two years ago, Cadillac absolutely floored us with the debut of its gorgeous Ciel concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. And since that droptop four-door's debut, we've seen plenty of its design language worked into the latest Cadillac products. Now, we're seriously hoping that history will repeat itself with this stunning new Elmiraj coupe concept, which makes its first public appearance in Monterey this week.
Cadillac states that the Elmiraj concept simply showcases the next step forward for the brand's Art & Science design DNA, and doesn't necessarily preview an upcoming model. But if you told us the Elmiraj was a conceptual look at the next-generation CTS Coupe, or a smaller, two-door version of a new flagship, we'd believe you. At 207 inches long, 76 inches wide and 55 inches tall, its dimensions are only slightly larger than the current two-door CTS.
Regardless of what the Elmiraj does or does not become, it's certainly a fantastic modern interpretation of the classic GT formula with its short front overhang, long hood, rakish roofline and petite rear deck. The strong character lines running along the sides and exaggerated 22-inch wheels round out the beautiful coupe, and Cadillac's signature vertical LED lighting elements are found at the front and rear. Also take note: the badge on the grille is a crest without a wreath, basically confirming our earlier report.
Jay Leno welcomes a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V into the garage
Tue, Nov 17 2015After checking out a multitude of classic cars and customs over the past few weeks, Jay Leno switches things up with a modern performance machine in the latest video from the garage – a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V. Leno is curious about Caddy's attempt to challenge the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S, and he takes a long, technical look at the sedan with chief engineer David Leone. Not content to just peek under the hood, Leno puts the CTS-V up on the rack to see what it packs underneath the svelte body. Once he gets the lowdown on the Caddy's engineering, it's time for a drive. Leno also flexes his interviewing skills while behind the wheel and gets even more info about the CTS-V's capabilities from Leone. He seems fairly impressed, but Leno's most entertaining question about the 640-horsepower sedan is whether it can do a burnout. He provides a definitive answer to that at the end of the clip. GM laying off more than 4,000 workers Monday morning
Sat, Feb 2 2019According to reports from Automotive News, The Detroit News, and CNN, General Motors plans to begin laying off more than 4,000 salaried workers starting Monday morning. In a statement to AN, a spokesperson for the automaker said, "We are not confirming timing. Our employees are our priority. We will communicate with them first." We've been expecting layoffs at General Motors since November, 2018. At the time, the Detroit-based automaker announced it would seek to shed 8,100 salaried employees, shut down five assembly plants in North America, and kill off several slow-selling models. One month earlier, GM offered buyout packages to 18,000 workers and said it would seek to cut its global workforce by 25 percent. A spokesperson said at the time the moves were "proactive steps to get ahead of the curve by accelerating our efforts to address overall business performance." The cost-cutting moves are expected to save GM up to $2.5 billion in 2019 and as much as $6 billion by 2020. David Kudla, CEO and chief investment strategist of Mainstay Capital Management, referred to the impending culling as "Black Monday" and told The Detroit News that the layoffs would begin around 7:30 a.m. and continue in waves throughout the coming days and weeks. GM plans to deliver on its fourth-quarter and full-year 2018 earnings report on Wednesday. President Donald Trump plans to deliver the annual State of the Union address a day earlier on Tuesday. We expect to hear plenty more from both sides over the next several days.
