2002 Cadillac Deville Rare Super Clean, One Owner, No Problems Great Driving Car on 2040-cars
Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States
For sale is a 2002 Cadillac Deville. I got it from an old customer of mine. I worked for metropolitan Cadillac on hwy100 as a tech where the car was purchase brand new. The man was 82. He said he was too old to drive anymore and the car needed some repairs. I got it from him. The car was garage kept so there is NO rust what so ever on the body. It is truly an old man one owner car. I did alot of maintance and fixed smaller things that I noticed. Just wanted to make a nice riding car like a caddy should be. I’ll try to list as much as I can about the car that I know. 2002 caddilac deville Black exterior Black interior. 4dr sedan Northstar 4.6 V8, Automatic Fwd. A/C blows ice cold. Runs and drives great. Doesn’t pull, drives straight down the road, no noises or creeks. Rear air ride works so it feels like you’re floating down the road. No check engine light, no abs light, no airbag light, no lights or reminders. The Car operates 100% like it should with no problems. You can drive and register it tomorrow. Duel power seats. BOTH front and rear heated seats. Power windows, power locks, power heated mirrors, 2 positron memory seat, and everything works. All lights inside and out were checked and work. Stock Cadillac audio system with cd/cassette, sounds nice. 4 wheel disc brakes. Tilt, cruise and steering wheel audio control buttons work fine, wipers, washers etc. all the gizmos that a Cadillac has work. Even the On star works. Spare tire and jack are there. All rear controls work. That about all. Oh it’s got 5 ash trays. The list of maintance and repairs I did. I currently work for GM so all parts are OEM. Front and rear brakes. New GM pads and rotors. New drive belt and idler pulley. 4 brand new tires. I didn’t drive the car except back and forth to the dealership twice. So the tires literally had less than 50 miles on them. A couple light bulbs were burnt out I replaced them. No leaks, these were common oil leakers. RR door window motor and regulator. New battery because it sat over the winter. That was an expensive battery. Power steering pressure line. Oil change so you’re good to go there. All other fluids look good transmission, coolant, washer, steering. No signs of head gasket leaks which were common on these cars. That’s it not much. The car was detailed at my buddies shop. Black cars are hard to keep black so a lot of work was done to bring back that black paint. It wasn’t bad but after 10 years it needed some care. So my buddy buffed the car with a compound and used a special euro wax to clean up the small scratch and swirl marks and then waxed it. It looks show room new. I’m impressed at how that turned out. There is absolutely no rust what so ever. NO dents or deep scratches. The motor was steam cleaned of all the dirt and looks new. The interior was wiped down and shined. Carpets were shampooed. The leather is in great shape. Like nobody sat in it. No rips or tears. It was old man owned. The leather got a special mink oil treatment to make it nice and comfortable. Very nice inside and out. All the trim is there. The famous hood ordainment. No crack in the windshield. Super clean. The best looking caddy I have seen. A rare find if you been looking for a nice caddy that you don’t have to stick any money into. Comes with owners manual. 2 keys one remote. Come take it for a drive. The Wisconsin title is signed and ready to go. More pictures available upon request. I have the original window sticker from the car and new it was over$ 45,000. So I think $4,800 is reasonable call me Jeremy at 262-501-4248 with questions or take a look at it. The pictures don’t do it justice you need to see it in person to see how beautiful of a car this is. |

2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.

2016 Cadillac CTS-V First Drive [w/video]
Fri, Jul 31 2015A million insects lost their lives today. Boxelder bugs and mayflies making the ultimate sacrifice in Elkhart Lake, their carapaces no buffer against a rocketing rectangle of safety glass. Their bodies gorily streaking into spangles along the diamond-faceted face of the Cadillac CTS-V. Road America is a four-mile ribbon of pavement snaking its way through the emerald center of the country's northern heartland. Since the 1950s it's seen uncountable fields of diverse racing machinery rocket over its hills and around its 14 corners. I would imagine that on those occasions the tramping of onlookers and hubbub of vehicles, both competitive and commonplace, would dissuade a great number of our six-legged friends from making their way onto the track. But today it's just me turning laps. Inconceivably just one journalist, driving the baddest roadgoing Cadillac ever made, on one of the loveliest circuits America has ever carved out. So big-winged bugs made it out to me in a vast array and a tragic sum, and I drilled through them oblivious to anything but one of the greatest days of driving I've ever had. Cadillac has turned its CTS-V from a performance sedan to a monster. For 2016 Cadillac has turned its CTS-V from a performance sedan to a monster worthy of the carnage described above. The words "epic" and "awesome" are hilariously overused on the Internet, but in the case of the CTS-V's 6.2-liter supercharged V8, their literal meanings are fitting. The capacity to produce 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque is astounding. Feeling those outputs come to growling life under my foot arch, uncorks different reactions in my brain as the day wears on: first trepidation, next cautious optimism, finally red-eyed bloodlust. A glance at the power and torque curves will show you that the charged V8 behaves more like a naturally aspirated thing than a turbo'd on/off switch. Peak torque arrives at 3,600 rpm, horsepower at 6,400, giving the engine lovely, linear power delivery. Even with top torque happening near the middle of the tach, there's no small amount of the stuff when the engine first spins up, so launching all 4,145 pounds of Detroit iron still feels exotic. Launching all 4,145 pounds of Detroit iron still feels exotic. On the roads around Wisconsin, using all of the available power is hardly advisable, but I have no trouble driving this fast car slowly (sort of).
