There is not a single piece of rust to be found on this car anywhere including the frame. New been hit, never been damaged and runs better than a brand new car! No smoke, no ticks, no knocks, NO NOTHING! This car is simply in beautiful condition i  and out. The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior with no rips, no tears, no cracks, NOTHING! Check out the Car-Fax or the Auto-Check report on this car and you will see it has a perfect history. I have EVERY SINGLE SERVICE RECORD for this car as it was owned by an elderly couple in Virginia. I'm telling you, you can get in this car, turn the key and drive. It smooth and rides wonderfully.

I bought the car in all original condition and as beautiful as it was it needed to be modernized a bit so I had the windows tinted and put on 2013 Cadillac ATS wheels. The wheels and tires are in wonderful condition as is the whole car. I DO NOT have the original wheels. The were ugly and I had no need for them so I sold them. I also put in a brand new stereo with remote control. The speakers are original and sound brand new. I also put in a beautiful one piece floor mat up front to keep the carpet protected and to enhance the looks of the car. This customer mat was $100 alone! The carpet underneath is gorgeous!

There will be no disappointments with this car. You are bidding on a true SOUTHERN CAR that's been maintained perfectly. No rust!!!! Don't let this one pass you by. Check out my feedback you will see I am a man of my word. THIS CAR IS SIMPLY GORGEOUS.

GM announces net 220 job increase as Trump visits Michigan

Wed, Mar 15 2017

GM announced today that about 900 jobs would be added (or, importantly, retained) ahead of President Trump's arrival in Michigan, where he is expected to discuss his plan to roll back fuel economy standards. The timing of the announcement is almost certainly not coincidental, as appending it to a Trump visit gives it a higher profile and dovetails with the President's jobs agenda. It's less likely the decision itself was made for those reasons, but the free PR boost is a nice bonus. As for those 900 jobs themselves, they aren't all new jobs. The only net gain is approximately 220 jobs at the Romulus Powertrain Plant, which produces the 10-speed automatic transmission that's proliferating through the company's lineup. The 180 jobs at Flint Assembly and 500 jobs at Lansing Delta Township are retained jobs – that is to say, spots the company found for workers who would otherwise have been laid off. By the way, the Flint jobs will help with production of heavy-duty pickups, and the Lansing jobs are to produce the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave. Finding jobs for manufacturing workers in the auto sector, whether new or retained, is admirable. No matter how GM couches it, the company has created or retained a total of 7,000 jobs this year, and its total reinvestment in US production is around $1 billion. But these decisions are business ones, not political ones – timing the announcements to make them seem inspired by economic policy, or the political situation, is simply smart PR. GM winding down Chevrolet brand in Europe

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

If you've taken even a cursory look at GM's European strategy and wondered how it can target the market there with both Chevrolet and Opel/Vauxhall, you're not alone. In fact General Motors itself has found it difficult to justify the two-pronged approach. That's why it's essentially pulling Chevy from the European marketplace.
Instead of trying to ply European buyers with what are mostly former Daewoo products rebadged as Chevys, GM will now let Opel (or Vauxhall in the UK) represent its mass-market aspirations. Chevrolet will keep its presence in Russia and other former Soviet markets, and will continue selling certain niche products in Eastern and Western Europe. The Corvette, for example, has long been sold in Europe through Cadillac dealerships, which for its part is currently "finalizing plans for expanding in the European market".
While the shift in strategy is expected to help GM get a stronger foothold in the European market in the long run, in the short term the restructuring will cost it dearly: between $700 million and $1 billion, according to its own estimates, split between the last quarter of this year and the first half of the next. Cadillac to vie for Secret Service armored car contract, new Beast?

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

President Obama has used the same armored limo since his inauguration in 2008. Known by many as The Beast, the Presidential Limo was provided by Cadillac and earned its nickname in large part because of its massive size, which isn't surprising considering that its Caddy-shaped bodywork is said to sit atop a heavy-duty truck chassis.
It seems the Secret Service may be in the market for a Beast replacement, having issued a request for proposals for a new armored limo. According to Motor Trend, Obama's backup limo is a leftover from the Bush Administration, so it will be interesting to see if this new machine will serve as a replacement for The Beast or for its backup. The contract is to be awarded by September 29, 2013.
The boys from MT contacted Cadillac, Lincoln and Chrysler, and Chrysler is the only one that would confirm that it is not pursuing the contract. Cadillac may have the inside track, as it has provided Presidential limos since 1993, but Lincoln also has a long and storied history of chauffeuring the President.
