1980 Cadillac Sedan Deville on 2040-cars
Fallon, Nevada, United States
1980 Cadillac Sedan DeVille for sale. Runs great. Very clean interior and exterior. It has 126,000 miles on it. I replaced all of the belts and had the whole car checked out. Minor scrapes on interior on the driver side panel.
I had all the speakers changed out professionally and added 2 12 inch subwoofers, a 1200 mono amp, a 400-4 channel amp, and a Kenwood KDCX997 eXcelon Sing DIN In-Dash Car Stereo with Built In Bluetooth. The subwoofers are Rockford Fosgate T0D412 Power T0 DVC 4 Ohm 12-Inch 700 Watts RMS 1400 Watts Peak Subwoofer. The amps are Rockford Fosgate R400-4D 400 Watt Full-Range Class-D 4-Channel Amplifier and Rockford Fosgate Prime 1,200-Watt Class-D 1-Channel Amplifier. I am asking $5500 with all of the audio upgrades included. Also has bluetooth and a mic that was professionally installed. I can take a cheaper bid if you do not want the subwoofers or 1200 mono amplifier. I also had professional tints installed. Car has never been smoked in as far as I know because I am the second owner. I love the car but it is time for me to move on to a newer car and I am in no rush to sell this. I am fine if anyone would want to pick up the vehicle or come inspect it if you live close. I live right outside of Reno, Nevada. If you do win the bid and want to have it shipped I have no problem with whatever shipping company you choose as long as you pay for it. I am fine with driving it to the shipping company. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. You can reach me at 716-472-0993 |

Cadillac Escalade driven by Tony Soprano for sale
Fri, Nov 6 2015If you're a fan of The Sopranos imagining a trip to the Bada Bing, then check out this white 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV for sale by RR Auction. James Gandolfini drove this luxury SUV in the role of Tony Soprano for the last three seasons of the mafia-themed series. Gandolfini also signed the interior to give you something to show off to your buddies. If you've ever watched the show, you've almost certainly seen this white SUV before. According to the auction listing, the series featured two Escalades, and this one was used for exterior shots. The Caddy even starred in an action scene in season 5 when Tony chased after Phil Leotardo. Gandolfini's signature appears inside twice: once with "Thanks for the truck, James Gandolfini" and again with just his name. The auction also includes a letter of authenticity that's signed by the actor, and a second document asserts the SUV's use in the series. Apparently, Gandolfini had a habit of signing messages in his vehicles from the show – at one point he wrote a threatening "Be nice to my car" message in a red Chevrolet Suburban from earlier episodes. The auction for Tony's Escalade runs from November 12-19, which still leaves plenty of time for a meeting of the families to decide to buy it. Bidding starts at $5,000, and according to The Drive, the consignor estimates a final price between $30,000 and $50,000. This sale should at least come to a more definitive end than The Sopranos did. Shatner's Rivet motorcycle to enter limited production with CTS-V engine [w/video]
Sat, Apr 11 2015William Shatner has entertained the world for decades, from playing Captain Kirk on Star Trek to covering songs like Rocket Man and Common People. Now in his 80s, Billy Shatz has embarked on one of his weirdest projects yet: helping to design the wild Rivet One trike with motorcycle fabrication company American Wrench. Now, you can order one too with power as crazy as the three-wheeler's design. We last saw the Rivet One's aluminum body with the styling like a menacing, art-deco easy chair a few months ago, but now Shatner has started talking about the trike's powerplant, which is based around the heart of a Cadillac CTS-V. "It's a beast with advanced guts. It's powered by an all-aluminum, computer-controlled, supercharged and intercooled V8 engine – producing over 500 HP," Shatner said to Gizmag. Keep an eye out because Shatner intends to captain the Rivet One from Chicago to Los Angeles later this year. Also, if you want a ride like Captain James T. Kirk, the company is taking requests for the trike, made on a build-to-order basis after completing Shatner's job, according to Gizmag. Prices aren't announced yet but expect the number to be as out of this world as a voyage of the Enterprise. The video below provides a further look at the Rivet One's unconventional design. GM to build $1.3 billion Cadillac plant in China
Wed, 08 May 2013General Motors has gotten approval to build a $1.3 billion manufacturing facility for its Cadillac brand in China. China's National Development and Reform Commission signed off on plans for GM to build the plant in the country's Shanghai's Jinqiao zone; construction is expected to begin in June of this year. According to a Bloomberg report, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units.
No surprise here, but Cadillac would like to sell a lot more cars in the plush Chinese luxury market. The brand moved only 30,010 cars in China last year, compared with 400k for Audi, and about 330k for BMW. With Cadillac already telling us that it would be moving production of its XTS sedan to China - a production decision that saves having to pay 25-percent import tariffs - approval of the factory is a critical win for the company.
In fact, according to earlier comments by GM China president Bob Socia, it's at least conceivable that Chinese-built Cadillacs could be shipped back to the US for sale. The brave new world of globalization, getting stranger by the minute.
