1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville 2 door. Body and interior are in very good condition. Body is light tan in color with a dark tan half vinyl top. Everything is original on this vehicle. Power Steering, power brakes. Undercarriage,frame and floors are spotless. No rust, There is a scratch on the passenger side door and while in storage there was something placed on the trunk lid that took the paint off which you can see in the photos. This car has been in storage for the past 5 years. I have recently taken it out of storage and got it running. I have installed a new battery, new plugs and plug wires. The heater core has been bypassed due to it leaking. Power windows work very good, up and down quickly. Tires are in like new condition. Not shown in photos but this car has a current up to date Virginia state inspection sticker. Also license plates are not included in this auction. Car runs and drives excellent. Seinfeld and Don Rickles stretch out in classic Caddy for latest CiCGC
Thu, 04 Jul 2013It's no surprise that for the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, airing for the first time on the 4th of July, that a couple of American classics are involved. You'll Never Play the Copa unites Seinfeld with legendary curmudgeon Don Rickles, driving around in a stunner of a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville in Gleneagles Green (upholstery wrapped in Grandma-spec plastic, of course).
Mr. Rickles really steals the show in this one - maybe our favorite CiCGC to date - though the Eldorado plays a strong-jawed costarring role, for sure. Stories about Ronald Regan, Frank Sinatra, Billy Graham and, of course, Herkie Styles are more than worth the price of admission. Check it out below.
2014 Cadillac CTS images leak from somewhere
Sun, 24 Mar 2013The redesigned 2014 Cadillac CTS will be unveiled this Tuesday on the eve of the New York Auto Show, but as often happens, some images of the car have leaked onto the web a few days early. Previously, the only information we had on the 2014 CTS concerned the all-new twin-turbo V6 engine that will be found underhood, rated at 420 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
While none show the new car in its entirety, the images do show much of the front end, particularly the headlights that feature vertical bars of LEDs that start down low as foglights and continue up to the top of the front fenders. They're similar to the lighting design first shown on the XTS and ATS, except the lower portions are much taller.
There are also views of the rear end and one of the taillights, as well as an interior shot of the front passenger door. The latter image has us most intrigued, as it shows some very high end materials being used in the new CTS interior. The low-gloss wood trim, in particular, looks very premium.
