This 1973 Cadillac has been well cared for since day one and it shows! The original white exterior paint is still in excellent condition. The car shows extremely well and is a true unmolested 1973 Cadillac. All the panels line up great and is laser straight down the sides. It has 90 percent all original paint. The car has always been garaged kept and hand washed! This was someone's pride and joy and the cars condition backs it up 100 Percent.

The all original blue fabric interior looks like brand new. The seats are in perfect shape and have always been kept out of the sun. The interior looks as if has never been sat in and show like New Condition. The steering is perfect with no cracks at all. Even the carpet is original and looks excellent. Under the hood is just as you would expect and has no signs of wear or damage in any way. The doors open and close as new and have no signs of wear at all! The windows go up and down with ease with no leaks or wind noise. All seals are in Like New condition as well. This car shows great, as all the outside rubber is excellent showing its storage indoors from the outside weather. Even the chrome is excellent condition!!!!

Mechanically the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This Cadillac is a blast to drive with its very healthy original 472ci carbureted V8 motor. The shifts are as smooth as silk coming from the factory 3 Speed transmission. There are no squeaks or rattles driving down the road, which is so nice being its age. Every Gauge and every function operates, as it should. All services and regular scheduled maintenance have been performed so there will be no surprises. The air conditioning was jut serviced and blows ice cold. The engine compartment is all original and like new. This Caddy could be driven anywhere with ease. A Kentucky man has converted his 1939 Dodge pickup to an electric vehicle. Al Gajda of Lexington built the electric truck, which he now uses as his daily driver. "I take advantage of any excuse to drive it; just banging around town, errands, short runs on the interstate, delivering my granddaughter to school in the morning," he says. It is powered by a lithium-ion phosphate battery, which is mounted in a wooden box on the truck bed, and gets about 100 miles per charge. Read more at the Lexington Herald-Leader. Elon Musk will speak at the Automotive News World Congress in January. The Tesla CEO is a featured speaker for the program, "Setting the Pace in a Thriving Market." Production of the Toyota Rav4 EV has ended. The shipment of the final Toyota EVs concludes Toyota's deal to source batteries from Tesla. Cadillac will likely show an improved version of the ELR at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Cadillac to fight Audi A3, Mercedes CLA with small rear-drive sedan?

Compact luxury sedans are fast becoming the trend among upscale automakers. Mercedes has the new CLA (and its many platform-mates), BMW has the 1 Series and 2 Series, Audi has the A3 and, though Lexus apparently isn't interested in anything smaller than its CT 200h, Infiniti is getting in on the action with a compact model of its own. It would only follow logically, then, that Cadillac should launch a competitor, and according to the latest reports, that's just what it has in store.
Speaking with Car and Driver, Cadillac marketing chief Uwe Ellinghaus confirmed that such a project is in the works. But unlike its rivals, Cadillac aims to go with a rear-wheel-drive layout. This despite research that apparently indicates that a surprising 80 percent of owners think that their BMW 1 Series is front-drive. It's the driving dynamics and styling proportions that motivate Ellinghaus and his colleagues to stick with rear-drive, however.
The new model would in all likelihood be based on the same GM Alpha architecture that underpins the ATS and CTS - a platform that has helped Cadillac keep the weight down on both models and which is expected to underpin the next-generation Chevy Camaro, as well. The sub-ATS could be positioned as a four-door 2+2, however, as the ATS grows a little larger in its next iteration in order to make room for its new baby brother.

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
