You are looking at a very nice 1970 Cadillac DeVille convertible. The color is bayberry with an antique medium gold interior. The car starts and drives very well. This car was originally a Florida car which has had very good care. The exterior has been repainted to the original color, but no other restoration work has been done on the car. All bright work is original to the car. The top raises and lowers without any difficulty. Boot is included with car. All the options work on the car with the exception of the air conditioning, which needs charged. The compressor for the air conditioner has been replaced. The owner of this car needs to sell the car due to health issues. Please contact via email with questions, request for additional pictures, or for a phone number to speak with the owner. The car is located in Defiance, OH and could be driven easily to a new home that is reasonable distance from Defiance, OH. Trailering would be recommended for long distance. Combative de Nysschen defends Cadillac move, naming change

Johan de Nysschen isn't afraid of taking quick, decisive actions, even if they are criticized. Since taking the wheel at Cadillac, he instigated moving the luxury division's base of operations to Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood and introduced a new naming scheme for the future of the brand, like he did at Infiniti. The polarizing boss recently explained his feelings about the future of Cadillac in more depth on his Facebook page, but unfortunately only his friends could read it. Thankfully, Daily Kanban posted much of the strongly worded missive for the whole world to see.
Much of the message examines the decision to move some employees to New York. De Nysschen claims that it's all about giving Cadillac distance from Detroit to reshape itself. It allows for, "No distractions. No side shows. No cross-brand corporate considerations. No homogenized lowest common denominator approach. Just pure, unadulterated, CLASS."
Cadillac V-Series Academy comes to Las Vegas [w/video]
Thu, 31 Jan 2013General Motors has added another high-speed education course to the curriculum at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The desert track already hosts the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School with Chevrolet Corvettes, including the ZR1, and they've just added the Cadillac V-Series Academy.
Open now, the one- and two-day performance driving school teaches "the finer points of high performance driving" using the 556-horspower instructional aids known as the CTS-V sedan, coupe and wagon. This is different than than using the CTS-V at the Monticello Motor Club on the east coast - that's part of a sponsorship deal that Cadillac has with the track. The driving course at the Motorsports Ranch is its own program that was developed by Fellows, and we have no reason to think the Cadillac edition won't be just as thorough and enjoyable as the one with Corvettes.
Unlike the 'Vette edition, however, it doesn't appear that you get an invitation to the program if you buy a CTS-V model. Classes are capped at 12 participants and run $1,295 for a single day, $2,295 for two days. There are a video and a press release below with more info.
