No Title, not required in the state of georgia on a car this old, comes with a legal bill of sale which can be notorized if need be.
This car has been in storage for over 40 years, it runs and yard drives, but has an exhaust leak, old gasoline in the tank, and has no brakes, So it will need to be towed.
It would make a very nice car restored, looks to have had 1 re paint in it's lifetime.
1961 Cadillac deville 4 door hardtop, 390 v-8 4 brrl automatic, power steering, power brakes, a/c, power seat, power windows, wonderbar radio, power antenna, automatic headlight dimmer, Missing the air cleaner, top trim for the fins. Side glass on drivers side is cracked rest looks ok, does have typical rust for this model including some in the rear driver floorpan, low front fenders, lip of the hood, corners of the doors and some on the deck lid, as well as a factory seam weld on the passenger side top, ( I will add more pics if need be ) Lights work, blinkers work, radio plays good, wipers work etc. passenger rear door has a small dent, someone started stripping paint in some spots some time ago to prep it for repainting. Would make a neat car restored or left alone with the patina. I don't think it would take a whole lot to make it road worthy again other than some cash and know how. It's just too freakin' long for me. all original interior, seat foam is dry, door panels are in good shape dash pad is in nice shape, original floor mats in front, headliner has a few holes, mexican blanket not included :) still has it's original jack. South Dakota dealer filled to brim with classic cars
Wed, 12 Mar 2014Other than the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Mount Rushmore, South Dakota isn't generally a hot topic, but that just means that cool stuff can hide in the open waiting to be discovered. Case in point: the classic car dealer Frankman Motor Company that operates three locations in Sioux Falls, SD.
Unearthed by the folks at Bring a Trailer, Frankman is a treasure trove of vintage, American iron. Their collection is full of the type of vehicles your irresponsible but cool uncle would show up with when you were a kid. Even better, these cars are priced at a level a working man can afford.
If you are lusting about a cruiser then Frankman has a 1956 Cadillac Deville Hard Top Sedan (pictured right) with 82,896 miles for $12,975. It's painted a color called Cascade Grey, but looks more like a pastel purple in pictures. While it needs some repairs to the accessories, the Caddy runs and drives, which is all you really need.
Is this the 2014-15 Cadillac Escalade?
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Following the introduction of the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, we're expecting General Motors won't wait too much longer to show off the next-generation fullsize SUVs that share this platform - including the Cadillac Escalade. It's still not clear if the next Escalade will debut for the 2014 or 2015 model years, but Carscoops has what it claims to an exclusive first look of the new Cadillac, revealing a portion of the headlight, front fascia and wheel.
Judging from this small picture, it looks like the Escalade could incorporate styling cues that we've seen on new Cadillac models like the ELR and the 2014 CTS, but that article says that other design details could include tall, vertical taillights similar to the CTS Wagon, staggered-width wheels and a narrower daylight opening for the side windows. The last time we saw the fourth-generation 'Slade back in October in spy shots, the heavy camouflage prevented us from getting an idea of the luxury SUV's appearance, but this image and description gives us something to look forward to. Head on over to Carscoops for more potential information as well as a full rendering from back in January.
Junkyard Gem: 1998 Cadillac Catera
Wed, Dec 14 2016A decade or so after Ford tried to swipe some US-market sales from European luxury marques by selling the German-built Ford Scorpio with Merkur badging, General Motors opted to sell the German-built Opel Omega luxury sedan as a Cadillac. The Catera was a reasonably nimble rear-wheel-drive sedan with a 200-horse DOHC V6 engine, and its badge-engineered nature made it a much less costly gamble than, say, the Cadillac Allante, which had its bodies built in Italy and flown to Michigan for assembly. Unfortunately, it had no manual transmission option, and Americans who remembered the miserable US-market Opels of the 1970s were put off by the Catera's Opelness. Its $29,995 list price was quite a bit cheaper than that of the (slightly less powerful) $39,800 BMW 528i and a bit less than the (slightly more powerful) $33,585 Acura 3.2 TL's cost, but the Catera didn't sell in large numbers. This one made it to a respectable mileage figure, and the nice interior shows that it was well-cared-for during its 18 years on the road. The ads for the Catera featured a cartoon duck named Ziggy. Fast, fun, fiendishly flexible! By 2000, Cadillac had ditched the duck and was touting the Catera's value. Related Video:
