**** NO RESERVE ****

Cars History:  About 25 years ago the owner at the time parked the car in his garage because the water pump was leaking. He removed the water pump and bought a replacement that was wrong and never finished the job. The car sat there over the years until it was purchased by a neighbor and then shortly after by myself.

Description: This "barn find" is a very restorable project car and in above average condition for its age in my opinion. The car will be sold on a bill of sale, if you are a US buyer I can help with the documentation for importation as I am familiar with the process.

Body: The body has the usual rust and dents but I consider it decent. I have not had it on a hoist but the rear floor on the drivers side has been patched needs work, a replacement panel is about 70.00 on ebay. The car is blue from factory, it has been repainted and touched up. There is some rust in the rockers one fender skirt is missing the other has rust. Look at the pictures carefully and decide for yourself and feel free to call me for a description of any area you are particularly concerned with.

Mechanical: I hooked a gas can to the fuel line and car started and ran. The transmission went into drive and reverse and the brakes held it while it was in gear. I was not able to run it long without a water pump or drive it, but the engine sounded good and the exhaust was not loud. The car has been parked for a long time and will need to be put through the normal process of fluid changes servicing that would be expected before a proper mechanical assessment can be made.

Interior: The interior is blue leather and in poor condition. I removed the carpet as it was musty and stained, there are no splits in the dash, the drivers door window switches and power seat switch is missing other wise it appears to be complete and original. The leather will need to be completely redone. The top holds out the elements but the stitching is coming loose and will need to be replaced.

Reason for selling: I have several cars and not enough time to complete all the projects I have taken on, as a result some are being sold.

Location: The car is located near Salmon Arm British Columbia. I can help load the vehicle and in many cases I can help arrange shipping. If your looking for a shipping quote I will only do this for the winning bidder as it is very time consuming for me.

The Seller: Although I have 0 feed back, this is a second Ebay account for me, my main account is Maracars with over 700 feed back and 100% positive rating. I've started a new account just for the cars I'm selling for book keeping reasons.

Overall: These cars are rare and desirable, I know this one is a little rough and needs work but this is your chance to buy a Cadillac Convertible for less than you paid for your house and drive while you restore it. The car is 98% complete so you won't have to spend time and money on hard to get parts and I don't think it is far from being a drivable car.

If you have less than 10 feedback call me before you bid or your bid may be canceled.

SCAMMERS: I've heard it all before, don't waste your time or mine.

This car is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to cancell the auction. If you want to view the car in person or by agent, or if you have any questions give me a call at (250) 515-1110 or send me an email through Ebay.

Thanks for looking.

2020 Cadillac CT4 Review & Buying Guide | Cadillac recommits to the small sedan

Tue, Jun 16 2020

The 2020 Cadillac CT4 is a brand-new entry into the baby luxury sedan space, replacing the ATS. With an excellent rear-wheel-drive chassis and a performance-oriented “V” trim (to be topped by a yet-wilder “Blackwing” model), the CT4 is aimed at the enthusiast end of the segment. Cadillac fields the lone American entry in this class, meaning the CT4Â’s main competitors — the Audi A3, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe and the Mercedes-Benz A- and CLA-Classes — are all European. However, since it's a bit bigger than those and features a rear-wheel-drive platform (all-wheel drive is available), it's hardly an apples-to-apples situation. The Genesis G70 is perhaps a closer comparable. In any event, the CT4 is a compelling, American alternative that delivers excellent comfort, interior quality and driving dynamics at a price that strongly challenges the various competitors from Europe. What's new for 2020? The Cadillac CT4 is new for 2020, alongside the bigger CT5. You can check out our first drive of the hot CT4-V model for more on CadillacÂ’s new sedan strategy. 2020 Cadillac CT4 View 4 Photos What's the CT4's interior and in-car technology like? The Cadillac CT4 packs the sort of high-quality materials and convenience features one expects from an entry-level luxury model. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and in higher-end models, the front buckets are offered with heat, ventilation and massage features. The CT4 also boasts what GM calls a “sound-optimized” interior coupled with active noise cancellation and amplification to mitigate unpleasant frequencies and enhance desirable ones. In all, we find the CT4Â’s interior much more compelling than that found in other recent Cadillac products such as the new XT4 crossover. The infotainment system is controlled by an 8-inch touchscreen with an optional rotary-control interface. The base setup includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa integration and offers USB Type-A and Type-C connectivity and charging. Upgrades include navigation and multiple Bose audio packages, all of which bring with them wireless device charging. How big is the CT4? Like many of CadillacÂ’s previous sport sedans, the CT4 is a bit of an oddball size-wise for the segment it targets, stretching more than a foot longer than the Audi A3 and nearly 9 inches longer than the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe. However, this doesn't translate into a comparable interior space advantage because of the CT4 rear-wheel-drive platform.

2023 Cadillac Lyriq production model revealed with range, power, price

Wed, Apr 21 2021

We got our first look at the Cadillac Lyriq's design last August, and now the company is revealing the official production version of the electric crossover. The good news is that it looks almost identical to the preproduction version no matter where you look, inside or outside the car. It has the same long hood, low roof, creased body work, illuminated grille and groovy taillights. The interior retains the 33-inch instrument and infotainment screen and wood and metal trim. Only detail changes to things like the camera in the grille and the reworked control knob in the center console distinguish it from the concept. So if it basically looks the same, what's new here? Well, we finally have specifics on all the stuff that powers the concept-car body. At launch, the Lyriq will only be offered with a single motor and rear-wheel drive. The motor makes 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque funneled through a single-speed transmission. Supplying the motor with juice is a 100-kWh battery, though Cadillac didn't specify if that's the usable capacity or gross capacity. Cadillac estimates that the battery will provide more than 300 miles of range on a single charge. The initial models will be equipped with on-board charging equipment that can handle 19.2-kW Level 2 charging and 190-kW DC fast charging. The former can add 52 miles of range in an hour, and the latter can add 76 miles of range in 10 minutes and 195 miles in half an hour. Cadillac has made no mention of an 800-volt extra-fast DC charging system like in the GMC Hummer EV. There's a chance a system like that could be offered later, just like the forthcoming all-wheel-drive Lyriq variant. The Lyriq rides on multi-link independent suspension at all four corners, using "passive-plus" shocks, so it won't be adaptive or use GM's fancy magnetic suspension, at least at launch. Braking is provided by large 17-inch rotors at the front and 18-inch units at the back, welcome additions for the 5,610-pound crossover. Cadillac also gave us some basics on what equipment will be offered with the first run of Lyriqs. Only two colors, a silver and a black, will be available to begin with, and another silver will come a tad later. We imagine more colors will be offered on later Lyriq models. The interior comes in gray or black. Twenty-inch wheels are standard with 22-inch examples available as an option.

Cadillac CT5-V comes in under $50,000

Tue, Nov 26 2019

Cadillac CT5-V pricing is out, giving us a fuller picture of the CT5 lineup from a pricing perspective. We still haven’t driven CadillacÂ’s new sedan, but we now know that a CT5-V with rear-wheel drive will set you back $48,690, including the $995 destination charge. If you want all-wheel drive, thatÂ’ll be $51,290, a $2,600 upcharge. ThereÂ’s a small tidbit of powertrain news available today, as well. When Cadillac first announced the CT5-V, it said the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 would make 355 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Since then, Cadillac has upped the final figures to 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. The difference is only 5 horsepower and 5 pound-feet of torque, but still worth noting. We also got pricing information on the CT5 with the lower-spec 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. This engine is only available on the Premium Luxury trim and it starts at $45,190 with rear-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive version costs $48,280. Cadillac opened up the CT5Â’s configurator with all the different variants on it today, too. We built a CT5-V with all the option boxes checked and saw the price balloon to more than $67,000. This sedan can get expensive if you let it. Compared to the BMW M340i or Audi S4, the Cadillac's base price is still cheaper. If you want to keep it in the Cadillac family, the smaller CT4-V starts at $45,490, coming in $3,200 less than the CT5-V. Cadillac says the CT5 will begin shipping to dealers in the first quarter and the CT4 will arrive in the second quarter.
