No Reserve Blacked Out Custom Powder Coated Monster Corvette Ls6 6 Speed Tremac on 2040-cars
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Circle City Concepts Proudly Presents this 2005 Cadillac CTS-V NO RESERVE, HIGH BIDDER WINS IT! As
you can see from the pictures, this CTS-V is in GREAT shape with very
low miles, and it drives as such. Very unique blacked out custom look and sound is a head turner no matter where you go. We are a smaller
dealer located in Indianapolis that focuses more on quality, rather than
quantity of vehicles. Please see our feedback on eBay, YouTube,
facebook and our website; we are more dedicated to customer satisfaction
than any other dealer, PERIOD! We have tons of photos of the Cadillac, so if there are more pictures you
would like to see please ask and we would be happy to send more. You
are more than welcome to submit offers, but don't ask us for a BUY NOW
price because there isn't one. THIS CAR NEEDS NOTHING! Please read the
list below to see the details.... INTERIOR The
interior of the car is in near perfect shape! There are no rips or tears
anywhere in the leather and the carpet is in great shape also. The
radio has the factory CD/GPS head unit with the high quality BOSE
speakers that sound incredible! The windows have been privacy tinted and contribute
to the blacked out look with the vehicle. The previous owner upgraded the shifter to a short throw, so you can fly through all 6 gears. Both the driver and
passenger seats are 8 way power heated leather with suede inlays. The cabin has dual climate control, a factory sunroof that operates as it should, and so
do all of the power options that are standard with the Cadillac crest. All of the interior lighting has been upgraded to LED bulbs, so it has a cool crisp look inside. EXTERIOR Most
notably, the car has been entirely blacked out. Starting with the factory 18" wheels that were powder coated and wrapped with all new 245x45x18 tires. These are not staggered, so tire rotation will not be an issue. This wheel and tire combination provides a unique wide stance
that cannot be obtained by most vehicles on the road. The brake calipers
have the large Corvette "V" on them and look great inside the wheels. The
body and paint are in good shape. There are only about 5 blemishes
(door ding or scratch) on the entire car, so it still looks great. The
typical chrome CTS-V upper grille has been upgraded to the sporty gloss black mesh grille to stay consistent with the blacked out
theme. The lower grill has been blacked out also. The only badges on the exterior are the "V" logos, all the others were removed to
give the car a sleek/clean look (we still have them if you'd like to
put them back on). The front running lights have been swapped out to clear lamps with LED bulbs; not only do they look awesome but they are very bright as well! The previous owner trimmed the factory head lamps with black paint for another unique characteristic. DRIVETRAIN The
engine and transmission perform amazingly (as all of these cars do!). They came from the factory with 405 horsepower and they hug the road like no other because of the magnetic suspension. As a preventive measure, we replaced
the battery with a new Bosch battery last week because we were not certain of the age of the other battery. All of the brakes and rotors were inspected last
week as well and look great. We replaced the slave cylinder in the clutch and everything else looked great internally! The factory dual exhaust sounds and performs as
it should. The mufflers were removed by the previous owner and this V sounds mean with that unrestricted rumble! This car gets great fuel mileage
both city and highway, especially considering the horsepower it has. It
is not our goal to waste your time or ours, so we list all of our items
as accurately as possible. Please have your funds in order prior to
bidding so we don't encounter issues following the auction. Please
contact us prior to bidding if you have a feedback rating of 0 or we
reserve the right to cancel your bid. The vehicle is listed locally as
well and we may end the auction at any time. If you would like to
schedule a test drive or an inspection, please allow us 24 hours to make
arrangements. We have receipts for everything and pictures to
verify all upgrades and additions, both before and after. The title is transferable to any
state.
The winning bidder is responsible for a $500 deposit due within 48 hours
of auctions end. eBay has a very strict rule of no outside websites, so
please contact us if you would like to view ours. If you have any
questions on this car, call Michael at 317-332-5218 or email Michael@CircleCityConcepts.com. We
obtained this car through a dealers auction with light rear end damage. The right quarter panel and rear bumper were all that needed replaced. The damage was not bad, but Texas salvages cars that most other states don't.
This car has been inspected by local authorities to obtain the new title and by the local GM dealer prior to listing. So, this car will be sold with a CLEAR REBUILT INDIANA
TITLE. More than half of the cars 10 years or older on the road
have been in a collision at some point. Lastly, as of July 1, 2014
the Federal government is making any and every dealership collect sales
tax, regardless if you are an Indiana resident or not; please be
prepared for that too. We do not charge any document or transaction fee's as they are a part of any legitimate business; you shouldn't pay to operate our business or any other! Thank you for looking and happy
bidding! |

Carpool Deville aims to be the world's fastest hot tub
Wed, 16 Jul 2014The world needs crazy inventors with wild dreams. While we might not long for the things that they create, their contraptions certainly make the day a little more enjoyable. Take the Carpool Deville as an example. Nobody (well, almost nobody) is asking for a hot tub fashioned from a 1969 Cadillac that is still drivable. But now that you know that such a beast exists, don't try to tell us you aren't at least intrigued.
The team behind the six-year-long project has a pretty ingenious setup worked out. The Caddy's original 472-cubic-inch (7.7-liter) V8 both provides propulsion and heats the water. The interior is entirely replaced with a watertight, fiberglass tub that includes working jets, and the controls are all done by hand.
As if just building a mobile hot tub isn't enough, the team behind the Carpool Deville plans to take it racing too. Specifically, they intend to go to the Bonneville Salt Flats later this year to make a top speed run while immersed in water at over 100 degrees. They even have a roll cage all set to install to meet the safety requirements there.
Cadillac CT6 PHEV battery shape a big departure for GM's plug-in hybrid tech
Thu, Apr 23 2015Anyone with any familiarity with the electric powertrain details for the two General Motors plug-in hybrids will have noticed that the information we have about the newly announced Cadillac CT6 plug-in hybrid has a lot of numbers in common with the Chevy Volt and the Cadillac ELR, like the 18.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an expected all-electric range of 37 miles. We also noticed that the announcement calls the plug-in CT6 hybrid an actual plug-in hybrid and not an "extended range electric vehicle (EREV)," which is what GM calls the Volt and the ELR. This, of course, means we needed to ask GM some questions. Donny Nordlicht from Cadillac communications told AutoblogGreen that while the Volt and CT6 batteries are both 18.4-kWh, the shape is completely different. In the Volt/ELR, the battery is T-shaped (see it here). The CT6 has four seats, with a tunnel running between the two in the rear, as you can see here, but the battery in the CT6 PHEV is "a cube-shaped pack, which is between rear seats and the trunk," Nordlicht said. "There is no pass through." GM has not yet released any technical schematics about this pack, but Nordlicht said that, "The CT6's advanced mixed-material platform was designed to accommodate the PHEV system by design so that it minimally intrudes on the cabin space." It also means that the CT6 can be ordered as an optional PHEV, while the Volt and ELR were purpose-built plug-ins. GM is also distinguishing between the EREV and PHEV powertrains in its vehicles from this point forward. "We are not discarding the EREV language," Nordlicht said. "The CT6 utilizes a two-motor system mated to a 2.0T 4-cylinder engine, which is an all-new system to Cadillac." We assume that the PHEV packs will use li-ion cells from LG Chem, just like the EREVs do, but Nordlicht did not answer our question on that point. As for other details about the CT6 PHEV – like production, full dimension, and pricing – we will just have to wait until closer to when the vehicle launches for those. Related Video:
Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.
