This used to be a 2005 CTS Now this is a monster 355 cubic inch 4 bolt crate engine Forged rods/pistons 10.5:1 compression 2.02 1.60 heads with roller rockers .520 lift comp cam edelbrock performer intake NOS 150 wet shot kit with braided lines and 10lb bottle Holley 750 double pumper Summit fuel cell Mr. Gasket external pump Trickflow Air Intake Chrome Hugger headers Chrome electric water pump GM 3 wire Alt CTS PS AC pumps Custom motor mounts Custom serp belt sytem 6.5 in damper 360 degree water outlet Chrome timing cover/valve covers/breathers 700r4 Custom drive shaft B&M shift cable Braided detent cable Mini High torque starter 8mm Wires, Flamethrower module, Autolite Racing Plugs etc Titled as CTS-V, Every look to factory CTS (Grill, bumper, etc.) Full leather, Air conditioning etc. What Cadillac wouldnt have that stuff? Moonroof, Onstar, Steering wheel controls, HIDs with Halos, etc etc etc etc Brand new tires. Custom gauges include speed (needs cable), tach, volts, underhood temp, humidity, oil pressure, coolant temp, weather forecast. 0 Miles on build. 170k on body. I have been called to active duty. This isnt some scam; I have lived in Ohio for ten years. I dont have time to finish. Over 20k invested, fired it up 5 times. I have yet to take it to the track and the car is in storage now. I can tell you I modeled the motor after a local race car; same cam, block, heads, pistons, rods, crank. That car is supercharged, no nitrous. This car is bottle, no blower. Should be similar numbers. That is in a full body 85 camaro. PR of 6.71 103 1/8th mile on slicks. I expect the Caddy to run about 7.30s on street tires. Low 11 sec 1/4mi on slicks should be pretty easy. Needs to be finished- 97% complete. Running open headers so will need exhaust, Needs AC/PS belt, Needs carb adjustment, nitrous button installed, radio disabled by security, cant get it to go into reverse, ran out of time. Car is in storage in OH. Clear OH title. Body is 7/10 has one rust spot. Interior is 9/10. May consider trades. Message me with offers. WILL END EARLY FOR SERIOUS CASH OFFER. BID TO WIN! Please feel free to ask any questions!-Steve |

Playboy reveals its 2013 Cars of the Year
Thu, 20 Dec 2012Vaunted men's magazine Playboy knows that its readers are nearly as interested in cars as they are in the female anatomy... sorry, we thought we could write that with a straight face. Anyway, the buff-book does occasionally fill some of its spreads with sexy metal, to accent all the rest of the sexiness.
To wit, the magazine has unveiled its feature on the 2013 Cars of the Year. Without giving us much in the way of criteria for the awards, nor a clear framing of the categories ("Responsible Ride" is a particularly challenging concept, especially when you consider that the Mazdaspeed3 was the winner), Playboy has nevertheless highlighted what we assume to be it's favorite 12 or 13 (depending on how you count) cars from the 2013 model year.
Headlining the class is the Porsche 911, which Playboy writers single out for having "remarkable electronic voodoo." BMW M5 is named "Slickest Sports Sedan" though the Cadillac ATS then follows on because "we couldn't resist giving the new Caddy a shout-out." The rest of the picks are pretty conventional (save, perhaps, the Honda Fit EV as "Ace Electric"), even if the categories and methodology are fairly wonky. Cruise through or gallery for a taste or check out the full list, here. The site is safe for work, and you can legitimately (this time) say that you were reading it for the articles.
Cadillac teases camo'd ELR ahead of Detroit debut
Tue, 08 Jan 2013With the 2014 Cadillac ELR being introduced next week at the Detroit Auto Show, General Motors has revealed another picture of its luxury range extended electric vehicle. Last month, we saw a dark, teaser photo showing some of the body detail for the electric coupe, but this recent photo shows the Cadillac in full camouflage testing in California back in September.
If this car looks familiar, it's because our spy shooters got a jump on GM by catching the car in action and providing pictures from all angles. There are still no official details for the ELR yet aside from the fact that it will share the Voltec system with the Chevrolet Volt, but we'll finally see the car unveiled in Detroit a week from today.
GM veteran Bryan Nesbitt tapped to head Buick design
Sat, Jun 6 2015General Motors styling veteran Bryan Nesbitt (pictured above) took over a new role on Monday as executive director of global Buick design and global architectures. Andrew Smith, who previously did that job and also coordinated the look for Cadillac, has remained in charge of the pen at Caddy with this shift. Nesbitt rose to prominence when he designed the Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to Automotive News. He joined GM in 2001 and has been there ever since in multiple high-level roles. In 2007, he was appointed vice president of design for North America and was later briefly general manager of Cadillac in 2009-2010. Nesbitt took over as the vice president of GM's international operations design in China in 2011. This shuffle also moves Ken Parkinson, currently styling boss for Chevrolet trucks, to China as design vice president there. In addition, John Cafaro becomes the person in charge of the look for Chevy globally, rather than previously splitting that role between cars and trucks with Parkinson. GM Global Design Leadership Changes – effective June 1, 2015. Bryan Nesbitt, Design Vice President, GM China will repatriate to North America and assume the position of Executive Director, Global Buick and Global Architectures. He will be located in Warren, MI. Bryan will be the design Champion for Buick in the US and China. Ken Parkinson, Executive Director, Global Chevrolet Trucks and Global Architecture will assume the position of Design Vice President, GM China. He will be based in Shanghai, China. Andrew Smith, Executive Director, Global Cadillac and Buick Design will assume the position of Executive Director, Global Cadillac. He will continue to be the design Champion for the Cadillac brand. In addition, he will continue to lead the Global Color & Trim team. He will be based in Warren, Michigan. John Cafaro, Executive Director, Global Chevrolet Cars will assume the position of Executive Director, Global Chevrolet. He will be the design Champion for Chevrolet. In addition, John will lead the exterior components and accessories team. He will continue to be based in Warren, MI. The roles and responsibilities of Helen Emsley, Mark Adams, Carlos Barba, Clay Dean, Michael Simcoe, and Teckla Rhoades remain the same.
