2011 Cerified Cadillac CTS Luxury Edition. 2nd owner since May 2012. Bought from Cadillac dealer with 10,500 miles. Is a certified car with 100,000 mile warranty and 2 years free maintenance. I have been told that the warranty will transfer to new owner. Please call a Cadillac dealer and find out for yourself. This car looks new except for minor surface damage to rear corner of back bumper. It was scraped in parking lot last week. No note was left. I have included a photo showing area. I have had a estimate of $250.00 to repair. I am only selling because I just took delivery of Mercedes SUV. I have always owned SUV's until I bought this car and have since realized that I need an SUV for my trips to my vacation house. This car is priced to sell. This red custom paint is a head turner. Pampered adult owned.Very low reserve.

The highly-ranked 2011 Cadillac CTS offers sporty, yet refined handling, as well as a luxurious, thoughtfully-designed interior, which makes it a great choice for anyone looking for an agile 2011 midsize car.

The 2011 Cadillac CTS is ranked:

#1in Used Upscale Midsize Cars $25K to $30K
    #1in 2011 Upscale Midsize Cars

When it was new, critics praised the 2011 Cadillac CTS for its captivating and contemporary styling and its composed, agile handling. Enthusiasts looking for adept handling should look for models equipped with the sport suspension. In addition to a sedan, the CTS is also available in coupe and Sport Wagon body styles, as well as a high-performance CTS-V. The 2011 CTS also stands out with an outstanding safety score and excellent reliability rating.

2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 AWD

All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?

Five awesome Lego car creations

Thu, 23 Oct 2014

Lego cars are among our favorite toys. They're fun for play, and if built properly, great to display. With that in mind, we've crafted a list of some of the best creations we've seen. Some are on sale now, while others are merely the work of fanciful enthusiasts. There are even a couple that you definitely cannot buy (we'll explain).
Our choices are diverse, including everything from a diminutive 1969 Chevy Corvette to a fullsize Ferrari Formula One racecar. These are just five projects that caught our eye - there are many more out there - so if you don't see your favorite Lego car on the list (or if you have your own creation), please tell us about it, in Comments.

Combine a self-driving car with V2V, and here's what happens

Sat, Dec 12 2015

Transportation engineers have started laying the groundwork for a traffic world in which cars communicate with other cars and infrastructure like bridges and traffic lights. How about an environment in which cars talk to pretty much everything and everyone? In a preview of its offerings at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, Delphi Automotive will deploy just such a concept. Engineers have designed a system that communicates with traffic signals, street signs, pedestrians, cyclists, even to fry pits and parking garages along a driver's route. To date, engineers and researchers across the auto industry have focused on the technical and safety-oriented foundation of future vehicle-to-vehicle communications, which could help cars share information about everything from traffic tie-ups to upcoming road hazards. Beyond those building blocks, many have projected that V2V could also include more consumer-focused features. Delphi's system, dubbed V2Everything, might be the first that combines those sorts of features in a tangible package. At CES in Las Vegas, scheduled to begin the first week of January, company officials say they'll demonstrate in real-world conditions how V2V technology can be used in an autonomous vehicle to provide a range of critical safety information and leisure and convenience options for riders. The first V2V technology installed on a production car is slated to appear on the 2017 Cadillac CTS. "We imagine a world with zero traffic accidents," said Jeff Owens, Delphi's chief technology officer. "To get there, we will need a convergence of active safety, sensor fusion, connectivity platforms and advanced software." Such software might allow a vehicle to start searching for and reserving parking spots at a programmed destination long before arriving. It could allow riders to place their McDonald's drive-through order from the road and have the food ready for pickup along the route. For the drive itself, the Delphi-equipped car can stay updated on the status of traffic lights around Las Vegas, and can anticipate yellow and red lights. Using smart-phone technology, the car can detect pedestrians and cyclists that may otherwise be hard to see. It can send messages to friends or family to notify them of a driver's location. Some of those features have been available on third-party apps or individually developed by automakers. But this system marries them together in a single system that is tailored for use in self-driving cars.
