My wife and I are selling our 2009 CTS-V with under 38,000 miles, a manual transmission, Recaro racing seats, Corsa exhaust, and tech package (touchscreen nav, aux hook up, etc.). We are only selling to buy something different and do not need to sell. The car is paid off with a clean NY title. I love the V but my wife wants something more "exotic". The car has under 38K miles on it but it does get driven maybe twice a week so let me know if you want an exact mileage. It is kept indoors and not brought out when there is salt on the road. The interior is a 9.5 and exterior is a 9 out of 10. There are four brand new tires with less than 1000 miles and no curb rash on the rims, I do also have a transferable rim and tire warranty with over 2.5 years left on it that I will sell for an additional $250, plus the company has a $50 processing fee. Two key FOBs come with it but one of the actual keys is broken in one, it does not affect the key-less entry and start. You will also get the stock exhaust and any other items I have for the car such as the owners manual. There are NO mechanical issues at all and never have been. Mobil one and premium gas have always been used. What you see is what you get, I am not hiding anything. I will not arrange shipping, you can have anyone you want pick the car up after payment has cleared. Once the auction ends and the car sells I will not drive it, it ill stay in the garage under the car cover for up to two weeks, then after that it will sit at the bottom of my driveway until it is picked up. This is an EXTREMELY nice car but if you want a showroom car then you should probably go pay the showroom price. Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
