*no Reserve* Blacked Out New Custom 20" Wheels & Tires on 2040-cars
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
|
Circle City Concepts Proudly Presents this 2005 Cadillac CTS NO RESERVE, HIGH BIDDER WINS IT! As
you can see from the pictures, this CTS is in GREAT shape with
low miles, and it drives as such. Very unique blacked out custom look is a head turner no matter where you go. We are a smaller
dealer located in Indianapolis that focuses more on quality, rather than
quantity of vehicles. Please see our feedback on eBay, YouTube,
facebook and our website; we are more dedicated to customer satisfaction
than any other dealer, PERIOD! We have tons of photos of the Cadillac, so if there are more pictures you
would like to see please ask and we would be happy to send more. You
are more than welcome to submit offers, but don't ask us for a BUY NOW
price because there isn't one. THIS CAR NEEDS NOTHING! Please read the
list below to see the details.... INTERIOR The
interior of the car is in great shape! There are no rips or tears
anywhere in the leather and the carpet is in very good shape also. The radio has the factory CD head unit with the high quality factory speakers. The windows have been privacy tinted and contribute
to the blacked out look with the vehicle. The front center armrest flips
up for storage and in the center armrest is the hidden compartment for any concealed items. Both the driver and
passenger seats are 8 way power. The cabin has dual climate control
and heated leather too. The factory sunroof operates as it should and so do all of the power options that are standard with the Cadillac crest. EXTERIOR Most
notably, the car has upgraded tires and wheels that are brand new. The wheels are 20" MHT with a matte finish and they are wrapped in 245x35x20 tires. This wheel and tire combination provides a unique wide stance that cannot be obtained with a factory wheel offset. The brake calipers have been painted black to match and look great inside the wheels. The body and paint are in excellent shape. There are only about 3 blemishes (door ding or scratch) on the entire car, so it still looks amazing. The typical CTS grille has been upgraded to the sporty
plasti dipped matte black finish to stay consistent with the blacked out theme. We've shaved the exterior badges to
give the car a sleek/clean look (we still have them if you'd like to
put them back on). DRIVETRAIN The engine and transmission perform as they should due to the upkeep and maintenance of the previous owner. As a preventive measure, we replaced the battery with a new Bosch battery last week because the car still had the factory battery. All of the brakes and rotors were replaced last week as well. We did not put cheap after market brakes on, these were OEM and will last you. The factory dual exhaust sounds and performs as it should; no leaks or loud mufflers. This car gets great fuel mileage both city and highway, so there's no need to sacrifice the appearance and comfort to save on gas. The factory 3.6L V6 has plenty of power to get up and go when the need arises also! It
is not our goal to waste your time or ours, so we list all of our items
as accurately as possible. Please have your funds in order prior to
bidding so we don't encounter issues following the auction. Please
contact us prior to bidding if you have a feedback rating of 0 or we
reserve the right to cancel your bid. The vehicle is listed locally as
well and we may end the auction at any time. If you would like to
schedule a test drive or an inspection, please allow us 24 hours to make
arrangements. We have receipts for everything and pictures to
verify all upgrades and additions. The title is transferable to any
state.
The winning bidder is responsible for a $500 deposit due within 48 hours
of auctions end. eBay has a very strict rule of no outside websites, so
please contact us if you would like to view ours. If you have any
questions on this car, call Michael at 317-332-5218 or email Michael@CircleCityConcepts.com. We
obtained this car through a dealers auction. The right two doors were replaced because they were scraped and dented. The damage was not bad enough to salvage the car and it still holds a CLEAN and CLEAR INDIANA TITLE. We are not obligated to say this, but we feel it better to give as much information up front as possible so no one gets upset after purchasing. More than half of the cars 10 years or older on the road have been in a collision at some point. And lastly, new on July 1, 2014 the Federal government is making any and every dealership collect sales tax, regardless if you are an Indiana resident or not; please be prepared for that too. Thank you for looking and happy
bidding! |

Junkyard Gem: 1998 Cadillac Catera
Sun, Jun 7 2020Every so often, during the last few decades of the 20th century, the suits running each of the big Detroit automakers would eye their European subsidiaries and decide that some car from the other side of the Atlantic could be making dollars over here in addition to pounds or francs or Deutschmarks over there. Chrysler didn't do so well with Simca 1204s or Plymouth-badged Hillman Avengers in the American marketplace (though the Simca-based Omnirizon did very well). Ford USA moved quite a few Capris and Fiestas during the 1970s, then bombed with the Merkur Scorpio and XR4Ti. General Motors tried, over and over, to get Americans to buy Opels (some sold by Buick dealers, others actually badged as Buicks), and I still see the occasional Kadett, GT, or Manta in junkyards to this day. For the 1997 model year, still stinging from the not-so-great sales of the Turin-Hamtramck-built Cadillac Allante, GM took the Omel Omega B and applied Cadillac badges. The result was the Catera, and I found this silver '98 in a Denver self-service yard recently. The Catera had a lot going for it, with a rear-wheel-drive layout and a modern V6 engine that made more power than the BMW 528i's straight-six that year. It should have been able to compete with European luxury sedans in North America because it was a European luxury sedan. Unfortunately, you couldn't get a manual transmission in the Catera, "traditional" Cadillac shoppers thought the Catera lacked a sufficiently massive presence, and younger Cadillac buyers flocked straight to the Escalade starting in 1999. After 2001, the Catera was no more. I still find Cateras in junkyards, nearly 20 years after the last ones were sold, so they appear to have held together pretty well. This one was in nice shape until the end, with all the original manuals still in the glovebox. Even the Catera ballpoint pen remained with the car for its whole life. As we can see in the owner's manual, Cadillac marketed the Catera as "The Caddy That Zigs." The idea was that younger car shoppers would become as Cadillac-obsessed as their grandparents had been. Inspired by the ducks in the Cadillac logo, the Catera marketing team created Ziggy the Duck to pitch this car. Things didn't go so well. The Catera listed at $29,995 in 1998, about $47,600 in 2020 dollars. That made it an affordable alternative to the BMW 5-Series or Acura 3.2 TL, but total Catera sales came to fewer than 95,000 cars over five model years.
What to see at the Detroit Auto Show 2023
Thu, Sep 14 2023The 2023 North American Auto Show — also known as the Detroit Auto Show — is underway downtown. If you want to attend the public days of the show taking place September 16-24, hereÂ’s what you need to know about attending. But now that Autoblog has done our reconnaissance during the showÂ’s press days, we can tell you about the actual cars (and other things) you can see and experience. WhatÂ’s new? Ford The big new item from Ford is the 2024 F-150 pickup. You can check out the new trick tailgate, and see what the fuss is all about. The 2024 F-150 Raptor also debuted at the show, if you like high-power, off-roady full-size pickups. The show will also be a good opportunity to see the Mustang Dark Horse and Mustang Mach-E Rally up close and personal. Unfortunately, we only saw the wild 2025 Mustang GTD at an offsite event during press days, but it's quite possible Ford will roll it out for the public. Cadillac Cadillac revealed its refreshed 2025 CT5 at the Detroit show, and you can get a look at the revised front and the new tech-focused interior. Cadillac recently unveiled the all-electric 2025 Escalade IQ, so you can stop and see the most powerful Escalade ever while youÂ’re there. It wasnÂ’t on the floor during media days, but Cadillac told us theyÂ’d bring it for the public part of the show. Jeep Jeep unveiled its 2024 Gladiator at the show, and you can check out the new interior and trim levels in person at the Jeep stand. Jeep also has an indoor track set up for ride-alongs. If you havenÂ’t had the chance to see the refreshed 2024 Wrangler yet, you can see that, too, along with examples from the rest of the Jeep lineup, along with its Stellantis sibling, Ram. GMC GMC showed off the new, larger 2024 Acadia SUV for the Detroit Auto Show. ItÂ’s bigger than before, but does more to differentiate itself from its Chevy cousin, the Traverse. GMC also has its Sierra EV on display if youÂ’re interested in catching that in person. What else to see A number of automakers have large displays at the show with many of their models represented. In addition to those who debuted something new at the show, Buick, Chevrolet (check out the Silverado, Blazer and Equinox EVs, as well as the Corvette E-Ray), Lincoln with the new Nautilus, Toyota (get a look at the new Tacoma), Volkswagen, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mini, Volkswagen, Honda, Chrysler (the Airflow concept is there), Fiat, Ram and Dodge (see the Charger Daytona SRT concept) all have a sizable presence.
It's going to cost $12 billion to fix Cadillac
Wed, Apr 1 2015The Cadillac CT6's development predates Johan de Nysschen taking over at Cadillac, but the forthcoming flagship is the luxury brand's first major new product launch since the beginning of his tenure. The vehicle's debut also marks the beginning of a comprehensive $12 billion renewal plan bringing eight new vehicles in the next five years. Now, the former Audi and Infiniti exec is talking about joining Caddy and the company's future. "Cadillac will be a powerhouse global luxury brand that will command the respect of its peers," de Nysschen said about the forecast state of the company in 2020 to Bloomberg. He disclosed that three of those new vehicles under the five-year plan would be crossovers and reiterated that plug-in hybrids are on the way that would take advantage of the Chevrolet Volt's tech advances. De Nysschen also reminisced about joining Cadillac last year. He told Bloomberg that leaving Infiniti wasn't an easy decision, and there were apparently long conversations on the phone with General Motors President Dan Ammann discussing strategy for the luxury brand. De Nysschen was apparently clear that a greater investment and more autonomy from the corporate mother ship were vital. These days, the revitalization of Cadillac is just getting rolling. The company has a swanky New York office with a dedicated team to focus on the future. According to de Nysschen, the brand will grow its staff to around 150 people by the end of the year, compared to over 40 now. The marketing plan is to position the American luxury brand as a more distinctive product versus more common German rivals. It's going to be very interesting to see if this new Caddy can dare greatly enough to accomplish these lofty goals.
