Wofford Heights, California, United States
1990 Cadillac allante, runs great, very strong! only 21,000 built in 7 years. Built in Italy by pinnin firina then flown to the U.S. to G.M. for final assembly Has 150,000 mi. Soft top and hard top convertible. Leather interior, am, fm stereo with cd and cassette. All power everything. Has a couple small dings in the front ( see photos ) has an electrical problem somewhere, the shop said it's probably a relay somewhere but it could take a day to figure out. The shop owner worked for G.M. for 23 years. so we put an inline power shut off on it. Has all new hi performance rubber, less than 500 miles on them, new battery. Two different shops in Bakersfield, ca and longbeach, ca. said for 3 to 5,000. dollars this car could be pristine again. very collectible! Has a 4.5 litre v8 and automatic trans. clear title. Moving to my new home in a few weeks, and don't have space for 3 Harleys and 4 vehicles. And I don't want to keep them at my store. If you don't have 3 verifiable transactions on ebay you need to contact me before bidding, I've had scammers try to screw me a couple times on one of my Harleys. My number is 319-693-8951 if you have any questions. Thanks for looking, Bill

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either.
