I am the second owner of this very nice, recently restored 1969 Buick Sportwagon. I purchased the car from the original owner's widow. It was a Mississippi car it's entire life until I brought it to Texas a couple of year ago. It has been repainted to it's original color within the last year. The original 400 ci engine was removed and will go with the car if you want it. I had a an early 70's Buick 455 rebuilt to high performance standards and had it installed along with a rebuilt GM 200R, 3 speed automatic with overdrive transmission. With this setup, you can drive at highway speed and do only about 2000 rpm so the mileage is better and the car is great to drive at highway speeds. The interior is all original dark green vinyl, with a western motive pattern embossed into the vinyl. It one small tear about 3/8" long in the seat of the first back seat. This car is the 9-passenger with the backward facing rear seat. There are no cracks in the steering wheel, the dash pad or the door panels. The carpet and the door weather stripping could stand to be replaced. All of the glass is in excellent condition. The car has manual windows that all work perfectly. It has the power rear window which works fine. It has a working am radio and a factory installed GM 8 track player. It has factory air conditioning that is all there other than fan belts and should work when fully finished and serviced. It has factory cruise control, but I have never tried to see if it works. It has power seats in the front. It has new dual exhaust, new shocks all around and the redone brakes all around, disc on front, drum on rear. The wagon has the GS hood and Buick Road Wheels and new tires.

Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.
Next Opel Insignia to adopt sleeker looks
Fri, Aug 21 2015The very first set of spy photos of the next-generation Opel Insignia have dropped, giving us a look at the more svelte, aggressive, and stylish look of the popular sedan. As a reminder, the Insignia is sold here in the United States as the Buick Regal. There's only so much we can discern from these photos, thanks to the very heavy camouflage. But we can get a look at the new Audi A7-like roofline, which our spies citing similarities to the Opel Monza concept car from the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Monza link fits with our previous reports, which claimed the gullwinged wagon would serve as a prime source of inspiration for both the Insignia and US-market Regal. Aside from the significantly redesigned sheetmetal, Opel is also increasing the size of its flagship sedan, adding nearly four inches between the axles. According to our spies, the goal is to build a vehicle comparable in size to the Skoda Superb, a roughly Volkswagen Passat-sized sedan based on the VW Group's MQB platform. What's most interesting for US customers, though, is the body style shown here. Like the aforementioned A7, the next Insignia will be offered as a five-door model, rather than a traditional sedan. The five-door hatch would later be joined by a traditional wagon. It's unclear whether the US market Buick will take a similar route, or whether General Motors will demand a four-door variant exclusive to North America. Check out the spy photos above, and keep an eye open for more on the next Insignia/Regal. Don't plan on seeing it at an auto show any time soon, though. It's not slated to debut until the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
NFL QB Cam Newton and supermodel Miranda Kerr star in Buick's Super Bowl ad
Wed, Feb 1 2017Buick's Super Bowl LI ad is another demonstration that its cars aren't frumpy anymore. The ad opens with parents watching their children play football, with one of the dads, we'll call him "Dad No. 1," shouting encouraging words to his son. In the background, a bright red Buick Cascada pulls up, and another dad, "Dad No. 2," points it out. Dad 1 doesn't believe him, and says, "If that's a Buick, then my kid's Cam Newton." All of sudden, his son transmogrifies into Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. As expected, he quickly dominates the game, with some amusing results. At the end, when a Buick Encore shows up, the referee inadvertently turns himself into supermodel Miranda Kerr, based on apparent disbelief over what constitutes a Buick. You can see all of the shenanigans in the video above. Plus, if you'd like to see what goes into making a Super Bowl commercial, Buick produced a short video with Newton and Kerr showing what happens behind the scenes. You can check it out below.
