This is a 1967 Buick Skylark that I've owned for about 5 years. When I bought it, it had 111,000 miles on it. It has 115,000 now. It has the original 300 2 barrel with the 2 speed hydro-glide transmission. I bought it from my brother. He had put brand new tires on the car the tires are still like brand new, brakes, water pump, new timing chain, air shocks and electronic distributor in it. I put in a new windshield, new heater core, new carpeting, new trunk floor, new rear window trunk panel, new dual exhaust, new package tray, new am/fm reproduction radio that says Buick on it. New front speaker, new back speaker, 4 way speaker system. I replaced the front clip with 2 fenders out of California and inner wheel wells. The back bumper also came out of California. This car still needs rear quarters and rocker panels and new front seat covers also side o-ring on transmission has a slow leak and also needs a new windshield wiper switch- does work with a temporary toggle switch as of now; All of these are an easy fix. Used the car as a cruiser in nice weather only. Never driven in the winter, always kept in a garage from the time that I bought it, Has power steering and 4 drum brake system. The paint job is a temporary paint job to protect the metal until it could be professionally done. The frame is solid. It has original bucket seats as you can see from the pics. I have a low reserve, cashiers check only, no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping. If you want to drive this car home I do have a real good spare and jack that comes with it.

eBay Find Of The Day: 1946 Tucker Torpedo Prototype II hides a secret Riviera
Thu, 10 Jul 2014The Tucker Torpedo is one of the great what-if stories of automotive history. Preston Tucker hoped to revolutionize the industry with a car unlike any other on the road at the time. However, due to a variety of problems, he only managed build 51 vehicles before closing shop. Over time, they have become highly sought-after; In 2012, one sold for $2.65 million at auction.
That brings us to this Tucker "replica" that you see above because it might be one of the ugliest monstrosities ever put together. However, we might extend some leniency to the creator, as the vehicle isn't actually trying to replicate the classic look of the 1948 Tucker Torpedo. Instead, it is attempting to reproduce an earlier prototype from 1946 that actually features that weird, trident nose. According to the seller, his uncle built the car as a labor of love and supposedly used actual plans from Tucker as inspiration.
Underneath all of the crazy changes is a 1971 Buick Riviera powered by a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) Buick V8. Some of the replica's odder modifications include the front fenders that turn with the wheels and the fin running down the back. All three headlights work, but the one in the middle is only for the high beams. Oddly, the small hinged sections on the roof are meant to open to avoid hitting your head when getting in or out. Maybe the seller's uncle was a very tall guy?
eBay Find of the Day: 1981 DeLorean with 570-hp twin-turbo Buick V6 [w/videos]
Mon, 23 Dec 2013"Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?" So asked one Marty McFly of his mentor Dr. Emmett Brown, who replied: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
Doc Brown was right, of course: with an exotic mid-engine layout, gullwing doors and stainless steel body, the DeLorean DMC-12 sure looked the part. It just needed a little more juice. Well this one might not have 1.21 gigawatts of time-bending power - that'd be more than one and a half million horsepower - but it does have more than the 150 hp in the the standard 2.8-liter V6.
That's because this particular DeLorean has had its stock Peugeot Renault Volvo engine swapped out for a Buick-sourced, all-aluminum, 4.3-liter V6 from the Grand National. Dutteiller Performance didn't leave the engine in stock form, either: while they were swapping it out, they added a pair of turbochargers, new pistons, crank, cams and much, much more.
2014 Buick Regal GS AWD
Thu, 27 Feb 2014"This is just silly," I said as I laughed my way sideways around the icy track at Circuit ICAR, a racecourse, drag strip and kart track at the Montreal-Mirabel International Airport in Quebec. It wasn't the activity that had me cracking up, though. After all, winter driving experiences aren't uncommon in this business.
No, in this particular case, it was the car that had me chuckling. I wasn't in a mad hot hatch or a rally-derived rocket - I was in a Buick. The 2014 Regal GS, to be more precise. Somehow, despite its recent product renaissance (not to mention its distant - yet storied - history of performance models), I was having a hard time believing that this attractive, turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sedan sliding around the Great White North could possibly be wearing a Tri-Shield badge on its nose.
But it was, and slide about it did. While having access to a vehicle in this setting is fairly rare, what's rarer is the fact that I've had so much exposure to it. In Mr. Ewing's recent Volkswagen Golf R drive story, for instance, his ice capades were his first experience with the new model. In my case, though, I was lucky enough to first test the refreshed Regal GS for a week back in December before flying to Quebec to drive it on the snowy, icy, winding roads of Canada's most fiercely independent province and on the track at Mirabel.
