1964 BUICK SKYLARK STATION WAGON SPORT V8. CALIFORNIA VEHICLE.

SECOND OWNER SINCE 1995. WE PURCHACED THIS WAGON FROM THE FIRST OWNER WITH A SALVAGE TITLE DUE A SMOKE DAMAGE. THE CAR WAS IN THE GARAGE WHEN HIS HOME CATCH ON FIRE AND THE OWNER CLAIM THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A SMOKE DAMAGE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY PAID THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE VEHICLE BACK THEN (BIG MISTAKE,  I WOULD NEVER DO THAT WITH SUCH NICE A VEHICLE)

THE CAR IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, NEVER INVOLVED IN ANY KIND OF ACCIDENT. THE CAR IS REALLY NICE CONDITION SINCE WE BOUGHTED.
YOU CAN LET THE CAR BE INSPECTED BY A PROFFESIONAL BODY SHOP AND OR MECHANIC TO COMFIRM MY STATEMENT.

THE CAR IS IN 100% ORIGINAL CONDITION EXCEPT FOR THE PAINT AND TIRES. THE PAINT COLOR MATCH IS THE ORIGINAL FROM FACTORY AND ITS IN GREAT CONDITION. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE MATCHING NUMBERS WITH THE CHASSIS. THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT, ITS BEEN ALWAYS SERVICED AND MAINTAINED, SAME THE TRANSMISSION.

THE RED INTERIOR IS IN SUPERB CONDITION CONSIDERING A 50 YEARS OLD CAR. ALL THE ELECTRICAL FEATURES LIKE FRONT SEAT AND BACK WINDOW WORKS. THE AIR CONDITIONING USE REFRIGERANT R12 AND IT HAS TO BE CHARGED TO MAKE IT WORK. THE RADIO SUDDENLY STOP WORKING, IT COULD BE A FUSE, SOMETHING THAT I'LL LOOK AT IT SOON.

THE WAGON IS IN VERY RELIABLE CONDITION TO BE DRIVE IT ANYWERE ANYTIME. YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME AND SEE IT AND TEST DRIVE IT. THIRD PARTIES INSPECTIONS TO ANY LOCAL SHOP ARE WELCOME.

I ALWAYS RECCOMEND TO INSPECT THE CAR IN PERSON BEFORE YOU BUY IT OR SOMEONE IN BEHALF OF THE BUYER TO AVOID ANY MISS UNDERSTOOD OR MISS CONCEPTION. I BEEN DESCRIBING THE VEHICLE AS THE BEST OF MY OBSERVATION.

A $500 PAY PAL SECURITY DEPSOIT IS REQUESTED WITH THE 48 HRS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS AND THE FULL PAYEMENT WITHIN THE 7 DAYS.

I'M WILLING TO HELP WITH THE SHIPPING LOGISTICTS AT THE NEW OWNERS EXPENCES.

We really want to use an eCrate to restomod an old GM car. Here's what we'd build

Fri, Oct 30 2020

You hopefully saw the news today of GM's introduction of its Connect and Cruise eCrate motor and battery package, which effectively makes the Bolt's electric motor, battery pack and myriad other elements available to, ah, bolt into a different vehicle. It's the same concept as installing a gasoline-powered crate motor into a classic car, but with electricity and stuff.  This, of course, got us thinking about what we'd stuff the eCrate into. Before we got too ahead of ourselves, however, we discovered that the eCrate battery pack is literally the Bolt EV pack in not only capacity but size and shape. In other words, you need to have enough space in the vehicle to place and/or stuff roughly 60% of a Chevy Bolt's length. It's not a big car, but that's still an awful lot of real estate. There's a reason GM chose to simply plop the pack into the bed and cargo area of old full-size SUVs. Well that, and having a rear suspension beefy enough to handle about 1,000 pounds of batteries.  So after that buzz kill, we still wanted to peruse the GM back catalog for classics we'd love to see transformed into an electric restomod that might be able to swallow all that battery ... maybe ... possibly ... whatever, saws and blow torches exist for a reason.  1971 Buick Riviera Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: If you’re going to build an electric conversion, why not do it with style? ThatÂ’s why IÂ’m choosing a 1971-1973 Buick Riviera. You know, the one with the big glass boat-tail rear end that ends in a pointy V. Being a rather large vehicle with a big sloping fastback shape, IÂ’m hoping thereÂ’s enough room in the trunk and back seat to pack in the requisite battery pack. That would likely require cutting away some of the metal bulkhead that supports the rear seatback, but not so much that a wee bit of structural bracing couldnÂ’t shore things up. The big 455-cubic-inch Buick V8 up front will obviously have to go. Remember, this was the 1970s, so despite all that displacement, the Riviera only had around 250 horsepower (depending on the year and the trim level). So the electric motorÂ’s 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque ought to work as an acceptable replacement.   1982 Chevrolet S10 Associate Editor Byron Hurd: OK, so the name "E-10" is already taken by a completely different truck, but let's not let labels get in the way of a fun idea.

GM recalls 64k 2011-2013 Volts over carbon monoxide fears, stop sale on Trax and Encore

Thu, Mar 12 2015

General Motors is recalling 50,249 Chevrolet Volts from the 2011-2013 model years in the US and an additional 13,937 exported examples because of fears over carbon monoxide buildup. According to a statement, if a Volt is accidentally left on while running on electric power, its internal combustion engine would eventually kick on to charge on the battery. If this happens in an enclosed space, then carbon monoxide can fill the area, leading to a potential exposure to the dangerous gas. According to GM, there have been two injuries reported due to this issue. To fix the problem, there's a software update to limit the time the vehicle can idle. According to Automotive News, GM is also issuing a stop sale on about 2,300 examples of the 2015 Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore. In these compact crossovers, it's possible that the steering column assembly could touch the power steering circuit board and cause damage over time. This could potentially cause the system to stop working. Automotive News indicates that the automaker is still working with the supplier to get the necessary parts to repair this problem. General Motors is recalling 50,249 Chevrolet Volts in the U.S. from the 2011-2013 model years to implement a software update that will limit the amount of time a vehicle can be left idling in the "on" or "run" position. If a driver exits the vehicle and inadvertently leaves the vehicle "on" by failing to react to cues and warning chimes emitted by the vehicle, the vehicle's high-voltage battery will drain after a period of time and the gasoline engine will begin to run. If the gas engine runs for a long period of time within an enclosed space, such as a garage, carbon monoxide could build up. GM is aware of two injuries, both related to carbon monoxide build up. The total recall population including Canada and exports is 64,186. Related Video:
