This is a Cult Classic Custom Wagon that gets a lot of attention, not only for being unique, but actually cool. It is a great cruiser that rides smooth w/ plenty of power. I painted it deep metallic blue about 6 months ago. I have lowered it 2'' all the way around for an aggressive look and better handling using Belltech Springs. It sits on custom wood grain painted Boss 338 5 spoke wheels, (18'' up front and 20'' out back). The front tires are brand new and the rears still have 80% life. The interior is in really good condition and is super comfortable that make road trips a breeze, which is primarily what the car has done its whole life. 100k miles that are legitimately HWY. I drove it from Missouri out to Ca in November and it was a pleasure w/ no issues at all. I love the car, but its time to let it go for something different and more conducive to my work. Bob Seger's Detroit Made music video is an homage to the Motor City
Tue, 16 Sep 2014At this point, Bob Seger feels like the living embodiment of old-school rock 'n' roll. The Michigan native has been strumming out classic records like Night Moves for decades, and he just released a new single called Detroit Made. It sounds like a future staple of just about every classic car show within the next few years, and the video is dedicated to the Motor City, past and future.
Detroit Made is all about cruising in the city in a classic Buick Electra 225, perhaps better known as a "deuce and a quarter." It's straight-down-the-middle rock and could just as easily be from a decades-old Seger album as something new.
The video for the new single mixes shots of American classics cruising along Woodward Avenue with a contemporary look at the city. Sure, there are the well-known dilapidated buildings falling into rubble, but the people there aren't just letting the city die. Other parts show the attempts to clean things up and rebuild. OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
