Up for sale is an outstanding example of Buick Riviera history. This 1973 Boatail is beautiful to look at and even nicer to drive.
The paint, top, interior, tires , actual wire wheels, brakes, are all new. This is NOT a show quality paint but certainly looks very nice.
This car is reported to have actual mileage at 61261 but I have no way to verify that, however, it runs and drives like it's actual.
What the car needs is a rear package tray, glove box lock and sun visors, I hope to have those items prior to transport.
There was some rust in this car in the typical places but was professionally removed and repaired. There is no indication of collision damage in it's history. The car actually sat for 28 years inside a building in Washington state.
This Riviera starts, drives and runs like it looks, all electrical components are working. The a/c does NOT blow cold, but is complete. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The engine idles smooth and quiet.
The undercarriage is exceptionally clean, no rust or rot.
This car does not smoke, leak any fluids or overheat.
Please call 530-519-2195 or email any questions. I can store the car inside for a reasonable amount of time without cost. It comes with a clean and clear title.

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

2015 Buick Verano gets styling tweak, loses 6-speed manual
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Well, all good things must come to an end. For 2015, the Buick Verano's experiment with a manual transmission will cease, as the American manufacturer has announced it will discontinue the 6MT in the turbocharged version of its compact sedan. According to Buick, the take rate on the Verano Turbo 6MT was (unsurprisingly) low, leading to its discontinuation.
That's not the only bit of news for the Verano, though. After a few years on the market, Buick has seen fit to refresh the popular sedan. The visual changes aren't huge, really, with subtle tweaks to the headlights and taillights. We'd bargain that the average passer-by wouldn't notice a difference between the two.
The main aesthetic change is a new appearance package, available on the mid-range Convenience and Leather option groups. Unimaginatively called just that - Appearance Package - it offers up a new paint color, Desert Dusk Metallic, as well as a grille treatment and a rear spoiler. The new package is, however, limited to naturally aspirated models.
