1984 Buick Riviera Coupe. I am selling a very good condition Buick Riviera Coupe. The coupe is powered by a 5.0 V-8 engine that runs really good with no smoke or funny noises and is backed by a smooth shifting automatic overdrive transmission. The exterior is in very good condition with NO dents and NO rust out areas. The paint is factory and looks decent but the top surfaces { roof, hood, and decklid } has some weather checking { please look at the pictures }. The half padded vinyl top is in good soft condition with no rusting under it. The interior is in great condition and is very clean. This Buick came loaded with all the bells and whistles that was offered in 1984 and was the high end luxury vehicle that Buick offered. The brakes and tires are in good condition. The like new original spare tire is in the very clean trunk. This car runs, rides, drives, and stops just as good as it did when it was new. I have driven a lot of vehicles and had forgotten how well these ole Buicks glide down the highway, this car rides better than a Cadillac. Cars as well kept as this one doesn't come up for purchase very often. I am setting the reserve very low on this one so bid to win. Please look at all the pictures and ask all questions and i'll get back to you. All items are sold as is, where is. Cash payment in hand, in person, is expected within 7 days of auction end. 2014 Buick Regal GS

Mon, 09 Sep 2013

A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.

Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad

European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.

Buick Envision crossover to premiere in China

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

Buick currently offers two crossovers: the compact Encore and the extra-large Enclave, leaving plenty of room to slot a mid-size crossover in between. And that's just what Buick is planning on doing. In China, anyway.
Previewed in the teaser above, Buick's upcoming new crossover is cloaked and nestled in between its aforementioned stablemates-to-be. Set to be unveiled in China sometime later this year, the model has been confirmed to wear the name Envision - at least in that market. That's the name which the concept version wore three years ago, but we're still waiting on word over whether that name will carry over to the US version or whether we should expect something different like Anthem. But we have to admit that Envision fits better in the brand's crossover naming scheme.
Shanghai GM isn't saying much about the Envision in the press release below, aside from it having "dynamic and assertive styling" backed by all-wheel drive and stop/start ignition. The last time Buick offered a mid-size crossover in North America was with the Pontiac Aztek-based Rendezvous that was discontinued seven years ago.
