Beautiful Rare Classic Phaeton, need some cosmetic tlc but runs and drive strong.All original manuals and literature included.1940 Buick Model 41C, Special, Convertible Sedan, 8 Cylinder, 121 Wheelbase side mounts with covers, buick emblems are inside car, runs and drives well, many new upgrades including brakes, see receipts.Dynaflash straight eight engine, 3 speed manual column shift transmission, leather upholstery, dual side mounts, rear seat. The undercarriage was just sandblasted and repainted last week. The body could use paint and cosmetics, as you can see in the pictures. The driver side door got scratched up, gas cap, driver door and driver side wheel cover is here but also dented. The driver window was broken, but I ordered a new one. Need a new home and some TLC, Some paint imperfections, cracks and surface rust in places, All the chrome is presentable, some with pits but we shined the bumper up with steel wool. These cars are very valuable .

Buick shows off new Ultra Luxury Interior for LaCrosse
Sun, 27 Apr 2014The options sheet of the 2014 Buick LaCrosse gets all kinds of fancy with the addition of the Ultra Luxury Interior. Pointing its Tri-Shield logo at the world of haute luxury, the cabin treatment combines sangria leather with ebony accents, shadow tamo ash wood trim and a microsuede headliner to "drive fashion forward."
You'll need to start with LaCrosse models with the 3.6-liter V6 and either the Leather, Premium or Premium II trims to go all Brioni and Buckingham on the cabin, and the privilege package will run you $2,495. We're told that you won't find such contrasting hues anywhere else in the class, though, and that kind of exclusivity might make any price a bargain.

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
