This is a vehicle that I personally took in on trade.  One owner, who decided to upgrade to a 2013 Buick Lacrosse.  Owned by an older couple, NON smokers!!

It's everything you'd expect from a Buick.  Quiet ride, excellent handling, luxury throughout!  In mint condition!!

Balance of factory warranty PLUS certification, which extends the bumper-to-bumper warranty by another 12,000 miles or 12 months!!

Can use E85 or the usual 87 octane gasoline!

Comes with a three month trial of onStar and XM/Sirius satellite radio.

If you need to finance, it IS possible!!  Check with your bank, or we can help you out through our finance department.  Depending on credit, rates that we have found are as low as 3.49%

Final Bid price will have the following costs ADDED to the bid price:

Indiana residents pay 7% sales tax.
ALL BIDDERS pay the dealer documentation fee of $89.50  (one of the lowest you will find!!)
Buyers who finance through the dealership pay an additional fee of $35

NOW...shipping.  There's a quirk in Indiana sales tax law.  If you're bidding on this vehicle from any lengthy distance away, Indiana requires the collection of sales tax on a vehicle purchase if you take possession of it in Indiana.  If you pick it up from the dealership, regardless of what state you live in, you pay our tax and report to your state that you have already paid sales tax on the vehicle.

IF YOU ARRANGE YOUR OWN SHIPPING:  Indiana says you have taken possession of the vehicle in Indiana, and have to pay the sales tax.  The only way to avoid it is to have our dealership arrange the shipping and ship it to you.  Shipping costs can vary between $500 and $1000 depending on where you are.  We will ship inside the USA ONLY!!

Successful bid pays a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours.  Full payment due within 7 days.  Vehicle must be picked up or shipped within 14 days or $35/day storage fees will apply.

Why Buick's Encore wasn't a Chevy

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

Buick is taking a gamble with its 2013 Encore. General Motors' near-luxury brand has enjoyed great success attracting conquest buyers to its larger Enclave crossover, but it has never offered something quite like this small CUV.
Very early signs suggest that the gamble might be working. According to Mark Reuss, President of General Motors, the automaker expected about 1,500 initial orders from its dealers for the Encore, but it's tracking closer to 9,000 units. Alluding to the fact that historically, Buick has shared similar products with GM's other brands, Reuss says that Buick dealers are "thrilled to have an exclusive." The automaker already markets almost identical models in other markets as the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka and Chevrolet Trax, but The General's other brands won't offer a twin to the new baby Buick.
The new Encore is based on the Gamma architecture that underpins the Chevrolet Sonic, and it shares the economy car's available turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine. With standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive, GM says its Encore will be pitted against competitors like the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, both of which are much more expensive but also much more powerful.

2013 Buick Encore nets strong IIHS, NHTSA safety scores

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

After being crushed from every which way and rolled over like a labrador, the 2013 Buick Encore has been named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To earn the accolade, a vehicle must achieve the highest rating of "Good" in each of the institute's four main crash tests: Front Moderate Overlap, Side, Rollover and Rear. The Encore aced those four tests with "Good" ratings, but missed out on the coveted Top Safety Pick+ designation by receiving a Poor rating in the institute's new Front Small Overlap test. To be named a Top Safety Pick+, the Encore would need to score at least an "Acceptable" rating in the new test, as well as "Good" in all four original crash tests.
Despite the miss, the Encore joins the Enclave, LaCrosse, Verano and Regal as Top Safety Picks all. If you count only the Encore with all-wheel drive, then all five Buicks have also earned five-star overall ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration, making Buick one of the few manufacturers to offer a full lineup with high scores from both safety rating organizations.
The front-wheel-drive Encore, despite performing equally as well as the all-wheel-drive version in NHTSA's crash tests, only earned four stars overall. As far as we can tell, the discrepancy between the two is because some safety equipment, like Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Assist, are optional features on the FWD Encore and standard on the AWD model.

Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad

European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
