2006 Buick Lucerne Cxl Sedan 4-door 3.8l on 2040-cars
Lubbock, Texas, United States
This sedan is in great shape for being 8 years old. I drove it from Texas to Maine and back last September without a hitch. Other than a few very slight cosmetic issues, there's nothing but smooth sailing ahead for this car.
Condition: There are the normal road dings on the front bumper. There are a couple small scratches on the front passenger-side corner of the bumper. It looks like the previous owner may have grazed a shopping cart, or something similar (nothing a little touch-up paint won't fix). The bottom corner of the driver's door is bent slightly inward (I didn't even notice it until I'd been driving it for a week), as if the previous owner opened the door on a curb. Other than that, there's just the normal wear and tear for an 8 year old car. For more ease of mind, Ebay also offers inspections services: http://cc.ebay.com/vehicle-buyer-services/inspections/ This thing has been nothing but reliable for me, but it's time I finally finished fixing up my '84 Blazer, so this car has to go. I couldn't afford it otherwise. History: I am the second owner. I've never smoked in it, nor have I had animals in it, but I can't speak for the previous owner. I can say with a high degree of certainty that they didn't smoke in it. If they did, I can tell you this much: their parents never caught them toking up as teenagers. Payment: $500 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of your winning bid. I will accept PayPal, money order, or cashier's check for the remaining balance when the car is picked up. Ebay provides financing services as well: http://cc.ebay.com/vehicle-buyer-services/financing/ Shipping: I will not ship, nor do I know enough about shipping cars to be of much help to you. I would suggest you use Ebay's shipping page for possible solutions: http://cc.ebay.com/vehicle-buyer-services/shipping/ Of course, you could also just drive her home from here. She made it to Maine and back, she can make it to your home too. FYI: I also have this listed locally, and reserve the right to pull this ad if it sells locally first. This is a great car at a great price, so don't let this opportunity pass you by. I've added what pictures I have. I'll try to get more of the interior today or tomorrow. If you need any specific pictures, just contact me through ebay. I'll be more than happy to take additional pictures. |

Buick and Bar Refaeli teach in-car yoga
Mon, Jul 27 2015We're not sure which make or model you'd most readily associate with yoga. You'd probably see a fair few Mercedes convertibles, VW Beetles, and assorted minivans and crossovers outside your typical American yoga studio. But not to be left out of the contorting action, Buick is out to link itself to the age-old practice with these latest videos. They feature, as you can see, the ever lithe and supple Bar Rafaeli, clad in spandex, stretching and contorting herself inside and out of a Buick Verano. Which is really all you should need to know, but there's a little more to the clip above (and the behind-the-scenes video below) than eye candy. Choreographed by yoga guru Chad Dennis, the idea behind the video – cleverly entitled The Body Shop – is to show drivers, in as artful and visually pleasing a way as possible, how to limber up their body, mind, and soul in preparation for (or recovery from) a long drive. It also serves to promote the brand's new 24 Hours of Happiness test drive program that lets prospective buyers take a Buick home and try it out for a day before buying. And if nothing else, it aptly demonstrates that Buick has excellent taste – or at least as good as Sports Illustrated that gave the Israeli model her first big break, Leonardo DiCaprio whom she dates for several years, and the dozens of fashion labels, jewelry brands, and magazines for which she's posed in recent years.
2018 Kia Stinger vs. other luxury hatchbacks compared by the numbers
Sat, Nov 18 2017Ten years ago, if you had told us that one of the many new luxury segments to develop would be sedan-style hatchbacks, we'd have said you'd lost your mind. And yet, here we are today with not one, but four cars competing in just such a niche upscale segment: The Kia Stinger, Buick Regal Sportback, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo and Audi A5. That's just in one size and price bracket. Two of the manufacturers listed here make larger versions of each luxury hatchback. We aren't entirely sure how it happened, but we're not going to complain, because we love the idea of a car with almost no compromise: luxury features, sporty performance, and plenty of practicality. Try Autoblog' s Car Finder to search for your next new vehicle. One of the reasons we're taking a look at these cars right now is that Kia has recently released pricing for its entry in the segment, the Stinger and Stinger GT. Buick wasn't far behind with the Regal Sportback and Regal GS, nor was Audi with the A5 and S5. So it seemed like an appropriate moment to look at the numbers and see which come out ahead or behind, with victors in each category highlighted with bold and underlined text. What we found when comparing these cars' statistics is that each one has a clear area of expertise. For performance, it's hard to beat the four-cylinder Kia Stinger and the V6 Stinger GT. The four-banger has the most horsepower of the four cars, and is just behind on torque. The V6 has the most power and torque among the six-cylinder versions. The Stingers are also the second lightest of the group when equipped with rear-wheel drive, though they fall to third with all-wheel drive. Space is a split between the Buick Regals and BMW 3 Series Gran Turismos. The Buicks have the most cargo space with the rear seats up or folded by a significant margin. The BMW on the other hand generally offers more space for passengers. It's up to you what's most important. Compare these and other potential new vehicle purchases using our tool. When it comes to cost, nothing can beat the four-cylinder Regal's base price of under $26,000. But if a V6 is what you're after, the Stinger GT is the cheapest. Neither matches the Audi A5 and S5 for fuel economy, though. Both Audis have the highest numbers for city, highway, and combined EPA estimates. Related Video:
Buick Riviera Concept debuts in China
Fri, 19 Apr 2013It's nighttime in China, and Buick has just concluded an evening event the day before the first - and only - press day of the Shanghai Motor Show. The star of this evening's party was the Buick Riviera concept vehicle, a plug-in electric hybrid coupe that the automaker says gives a glimpse at its future design direction, not to mention resurrecting some nomenclature from the brand's history that includes a similarly named concept from 2007.
The shape of the Riviera is said to be inspired by water. While the traditional Buick "waterfall" grille is present, the front end gains a more aggressive note thanks to what appear to be vertical air inlets below each headlight.
As for the concept's drivetrain, Buick says it uses General Motors' new dual-mode wireless plug-in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion system, or W-PHEV for short. The keyword there is 'wireless,' as the Riviera can charge its onboard battery packs with a traditional cable or wirelessly via a "sensory recharge panel" underneath the car.
