2005 Buick Lesabre Custom Sedan 4-door 3.8l on 2040-cars
Jonesboro, Arkansas, United States
I have a 2005 Buick Lesabre, custom for sale. This car is very well maintained and needs nothing. It has 156,000 miles. The miles are all highway miles as the car is great for traveling. Everything works as it should with no issues whatsoever. Windshield has not cracks or chips. Air is very cold. It has new disc brakes all the way around. New AC Del-co platinum spark plugs and new spark plug wires. Transmission is freshly serviced with AC Del-co Dextron VI trans fluid and filter. Tires are also new with less than 500 miles. This car starts perfect, does not use a drop of oil and does not leak any oil at all. It is very dry and clean underneath. It has also had an alignment when the tires were put on. The mileage is very good too. City driving I have always got 23-25. Highway I have gotten 28-33. The body is not perfect but pretty nice. The right front fender has a small dent, the deck lid and rear bumper has a scratch and dent also. Other than that, this car is ready for maintenance free driving for at least another 100,000 miles. If you are familiar with these Lesabres, you already know several of these cars are still on road with 300,000+ miles! I bought this car as an extra car to drive to school(a 300 mile per/week trip) for gas mileage. It has been a great car and I no longer need it. Whoever buys this car will be getting a great car for a low price. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED with this car. What separates this car from the rest is that it needs no maintenance AT ALL. This car you just Buy it and drive it. Call or text at 870-316-1663. If you have any questions, please call. I don't mind answering any questions you might have. I live in Jonesboro Arkansas. This car can be driven anywhere with confidence. I will except full payment through paypal or cash in person. Thanks for looking! NO SCAMMERS!!!!! |

Opel to be shuttered in China, but will restart Buick production in Germany
Fri, 28 Mar 2014Opel, General Motors' troubled German brand continues its quest to reinvent itself and find solid profitability. In the course of that metamorphosis, the company has a bit of good news/bad news today. The good news is, it will once again begin screwing together Buick models for the American market. The bad news, though, is that it's being shut down in yet another country, China.
Let's start with the good news. The last vehicle Opel's Ruesselsheim factory built for the North American market was the early run of the then-new Regal, which is based heavily on the Opel Insignia. Production ran for just over two years, from 2009 to 2011, before moving production to Oshawa, Ontario.
Now, thanks to a 245-million-euro investment (just over $336 million), Opel will kick off production of a unspecified model for the US in the "second half of the decade," according to Automotive News. According to Opel, the new model will be announced before the end of 2014. You can begin your speculation about this new model down in Comments (we're wagering it'll be the Cascada convertible, sold here under the Buick umbrella).
GM is quietly slashing prices on base models
Fri, Jan 30 2015While General Motors' fourth quarter financial figures haven't yet been released, the automaker seems to be weathering a potentially rocky time well, even beating third-quarter projections last year. To keep the climb going, the company is launching new base trims for several popular models that make them cheaper than ever but with tight dealer margins. The new entry-level trims are the Chevrolet Cruze L, Equinox L, GMC Terrain SL and Buick LaCrosse 1SV. Buyers lose some content by picking them, but the prices are slashed. According to Cars Direct, the biggest savings are on the LaCrosse, where customers pay $31,065, plus $925 destination, $2,570 less than the previous base 1SB trim but must accept things like 17-inch wheels and no cargo net in the back. If you're wondering how Buick can remove only a little equipment but cut the price so much, it's because the company also slashed dealer margins. According to Cars Direct, the difference between the invoice and MSRP for the LaCrosse 1SV is only around $150, compared to around $1,350 before. The disparity is even greater for the Cruze with an $81 difference in the prices, compared to about $600 for the LS version. Showrooms are expected to keep very low stocks of these trims, though. "Dealers use such vehicles to get people in the door, but they do not generally want to do high volumes of these strippers. The margins are next to nothing; they don't make much money off these cars," said Ed Kim, Vice President of Industry Analysis for AutoPacific to Autoblog. Dealers are also expected to advertise that these new base trims undercut major competitors. For example, the Cruze L rings up for about $2,320 less than a Honda Civic LX, according to Cars Direct. One potential drawback for buyers is that these models might not be eligible for incentives. While the attractive prices might get customers into dealers, folks may not actually end up driving home with these entry-level models. Kim indicated base trims also make up a small portion of the sales mix. "Consumers aren't asking for stripped out vehicles, even at the low end of the marketplace," he said. Hyundai, Buick dealer apologize in wake of Chinese baby social media incident
Sat, 09 Mar 2013A very strange story out of China today, as Hyundai and a Chinese Buick dealer were forced to face allegations of using allusions to an infamous child murder on a social media site as a way of promoting the safety features of their respective vehicles.
The original sad tale goes something like this: On March 4, a man reported to police that he had left his infant child in a running Toyota RAV4 while he ran into a supermarket briefly. When he came back out, the vehicle and the child were gone. Later in the week a suspect turned himself in to the police; confessing to them that he had stolen a sport-utility vehicle, strangled the infant that was in it, and then buried the child in the snow.
As you might imagine, the gristly incident was covered massively in the Chinese media. (There was huge public outcry as well, as evidenced by the vigil scene, above.) "Changchun baby abduction" was very quickly amongst the highest ranking search teams of the China's Weibo social media site - an equivalent of Twitter in the English-speaking world.
