Up for auction is a 2005 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan with 160,977 highway miles that was used regularly as a vehicle for long distance trips between Long Island, NY and the Washington, DC area. It's a very reliable vehicle that has been well maintained, was a non-smoker car and always garage kept. The car comes equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission, heated leather seats, traction control, CD stereo and full interior power features. It has the Cashmere (dark tan) exterior and tan interior that are a great color combo. I inherited the car from my late Aunt Susan's estate, as she sadly passed away earlier this year from a prolonged battle with breast cancer. Title is in now in my name after being transferred to me through probate. I am selling the vehicle because I have no need for a second vehicle (simply don't drive enough miles to justify it). However, I've had it checked out by a trusted local mechanic and have also been driving it twice a week to ensure it's being run regularly. The condition is described below in detail based on what I know. Condition Report This car was well maintained by my Aunt due to her regular long trips to DC as she did not want to get stuck on the highway with a breakdown. Below, I am fully disclosing everything I observed visually on the interior and exterior of the car: On the exterior, the Cashmere paint is in very good condition, with less than normal wear for its age, which means there are a some very minor On the interior, the tan front seats are still in very good shape with no holes or tears and only normal wear, as you will see in the pictures. All fluids are in good shape, nothing needs to be replaced for awhile. I just had the oil and filter changed so it's good to go for another 3000+ miles. After I got the new title and registration, just had the car pass NJ inspection. NJ inspection sticker good through May 2015 and it's ready to drive away. Will you get a great deal on this LeSabre? Well of course I am going to say I think you'll get a terrific deal given the vehicle's condition but don’t just take my word for it. Sell-it-yourself: 1998 Buick Century Limited
Wed, May 10 2017Looking to sell your car? We make it safe, easy, and free. Quickly create listings with up to six photos and reach millions of buyers. Log in and create your free listings. Well before Buick was tight with the Chinese, it was working to reconnect with middle class America. Of course, there's the middle class, and then there's the aspirational middle class. For them, near the end of the 20th Century, Buick offered the Buick Century and its better-zip-code derivative, the Century Limited. Having attended the Buick press launch about this time, the Century was – and is – what we'd call tidy in proportion and clean in its detailing. Its interior design and execution might have leaned toward old school, but the exterior surfaces were responsibly devoid of affectation. In short, almost twenty years ago we would have judged this to be sheetmetal that, if not defying age, would have certainly resisted aging. And we'll stand by that today. Our for sale example, nineteen years old and showing just over 111,000 miles, looks to deliver ample bang for the buck, especially when talking only 2,500 of those bucks. From the photos, this Buick seems to have come from a good home, even if the passenger rear door reflects what we used to call a whiskey ding, and is now - probably - a mojito ding. While kicking tires in West Palm Beach, note the custom wheels; they, too, are limited. Shop for the listing here. Buick Car Buying Used Car Buying Ownership Sedan
2013 Buick Verano Turbo
Thu, 03 Jan 2013Not Luxury. Not Sport. Not Buick. Not Bad.
Those of you who still think of the Buick Verano as some sort of callously badge-engineered, gussied up version of the Chevrolet Cruze ("Why would anyone spend that much money on Buick's Cruze?" you may have been heard to mutter) have got the wrong idea. Entirely. Even in its most modest form, the Verano turns out to be a sedan that is feature-rich, insulated from wind and road noise in proper luxury car fashion, pretty good to drive and not bad to look at in the new school of high-nosed pedestrian-impact-regulated fashion. In a less modest form then, one that attaches the word "Turbo" to the moniker and plops a force-fed 2.0-liter four-cylinder under the hood, the Verano is downright interesting.
Of course, "interesting" is rarely a descriptor that fills one with lust - and so it goes with this example. There are two competing forces within this near-premium subcompact sedan, and the balance struck between them must resonate with any potential customer before the Verano Turbo can become a serious purchase consideration.
Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad
Fri, 05 Jul 2013European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
