Excellent interior and paint make this a great buy!Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by an ASE certified repair facility. The repair facility that I take all my vehicles to, has been working on vehicles for over 26 years and I feel they are the best in this town. They are extremely good and all my vehicles go to them for the inspection and reconditioning. They are of course ASE certified and they can do anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines. We serviced this vehicle, and its ready to go!They have inspected it and told me the vehicle runs and drives well. Theyve looked it over and took it for a test drive. The engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. They also checked the fluid level, replaced the oil and filter, topped off the fluids, and checked the condition of the transmission, it was full and clean. The brakes were fine also; it has a clean bill of health and has been fully serviced, inspected and certified for you. This 2001 Buick Lesabre Limited runs and drives very well! The Mechanic drove this vehicle for around 39 miles or so to make sure it was working great. He assured me that this vehicle has been taken extremely well care of and it shows, inside and out! GM recalling 686k Lambda-platform models for hatch repair
Fri, Jul 10 2015General Motors is recalling 686,287 units of its Lambda platform crossovers. On models equipped with a power rear hatch the system can potentially fail. This campaign includes the 2008-2012 Buick Enclave, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007-2012 GMC Acadia, and 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook. According to GM's documents to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (as a PDF), dirt can get into a portion of the strut that holds up the hatch and cause the part to prematurely fail. There's a redundancy in place called the Prop Rod Recovery system that's designed to shut the liftgate if there's a malfunction. However, if the breakdown happens too quickly after the hatch is opened the prop rod might not work the way it's supposed to. If someone were in the way of the falling liftgate, they could be hurt. For the repair, dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent the hatch from closing so quickly. They'll also check the operation of the system afterward. The affected vehicles, equipped with the power liftgate option, have gas struts that hold the power liftgate up when open. These struts may prematurely wear and the open liftgate may suddenly fall. CONSEQUENCE: If the open liftgate unexpectedly falls, it may strike a person, increasing their risk of injury. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit so that the motor will prevent the rapid closing of the lift gate, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
Trademarks indicate Buick Regal wagon could be on the way
Wed, Dec 23 2015American wagon fans have been waiting for General Motors to import a Buick-badged version of the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer since the current Insignia-based Regal hit dealers. If a new patent filing is any indication, that day could be coming soon. Then again, it might not mean anything. AutoGuide reports that Buick has filed two trademarks with the US Patent and Trademark Office for "Motor land vehicles, namely automobiles." You can see the trademarks for "Tourx" and "Regal Tourx" here and here. "Tour" smacks of wagon models, while the "x" – for all-wheel drive – makes us wonder if maybe we'll be seeing a rebadged version of the high-riding Opel Insignia Country Tourer (shown above). This isn't the first time Buick has stoked the hopes of US wagon fans, though. Earlier this year, trademarks were filed for the "Regal Sport Touring," a name that's very close to the Euro-market wagon's title. In fact, that trademark had the same description as the Tourx/Regal Tourx filings. As we've established before, automakers file trademarks all the time. It's far from a guarantee that anything will come of such trademarked names. Still, two wagon-ish filings with the USPTO from Buick in under a year makes it seem like there's at least someone at the Trishield brand that's campaigning for a long-roof Regal.
