                                                                 "1987 Buick Grand National T-Tops

                                                                      67,809 Orig miles !!!!

Absolutely Beautiful 1987 Buick Grand National 3.8L Turbo, with 67K Orig Miles !!!!!! This is one of my baby's out of my personal collection and I'm really struggling with having to sell this car, but do to some health reason's I must let it go and let someone else enjoy it... So anyway I 'm selling my GN very cheap for a fast sale !!!! NADA Book on my Grand National is 42,300,but they just are not worth that much yet...but they are going up in value every year and they will be. I have looked all over and the really nice ones like mine are going for between 26,000 and 35,000 and the ok looking ones that need paint and other thing are going for between 15,000 to 19,500..and all out junk ones that need a lot ect.... are going for between 11,500 to 14,000 and Im telling you now this one is super nice !!!!  I' am the second owner of this car the first owner was a female doctor who owned it until 4,300 orig miles then me, the only reason the car fax shows three owners is we changed title from my wife's name to mine. Ok About the car:

This car has been super babied since day one, and like is said its perfect !!!! The paint is laser straight and shines like brand new !!!  It has just a couple of very small rock chips on front that's it. No scratches, No dents, No dings, mirror finish. That is from being stored in doors and the temp is always 72 to 78 degrees. The car has never seen rain or snow period. I will go as far as to say this is one of the nicest Grand Nationals left in the country !!!

The car runs and drives like brand new !!! and I mean it. Its super fast !!! drives straight down the road perfect.... The only mods are turbo tweak chip, and little more fuel. It yields 17psi and the car flys down the road!!! When you hit it ........it throws you in the seat hard and chirps a second gear scratch every time !!! Shifts solid , but very smooth. Like I said above I planned on keeping this car the rest of my life, so when the car had 53k miles on it I did a mini restore....here is what we did:

New Brakes all the way around, New plugs, New wires, new alt, new shocks, new battery, new U-joints, has tranny flushed filled, new tranny filter, brand new electric fan's, new thermostat just to keep it running super cool !!! radiator flush and fill, new water pump, I know I'm missing some stuff but basically went through the car front to back and its literally like a brand new car...Once you see it in person and drive it you will see what I mean, Its nicer that other Grand Nationals that have 20k orig miles, and for sure faster.

Ok Interior........ Is like brand new as well !!! Still smells new inside, only thing I did was buy new floor mats a few years ago, and aftermarket boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, and water temp gauge which you have to have, you can not rely on the dummy lights ect...
Still has factory Concert Sound Delco 5 band eq radio sounds great !!! A/C is Ice Cold, Great Heat, digital dash works great, power windows, power locks, power driver seat, cruise control back in the day this was LOADED !!! There are no stains, no rips, no tears NOTHING !!! Looks New. T-tops do not leak at all , and all weather striping is like new.

I don;t really know what else to say the car is fast, beautiful and drives amazing !!! I guarantee the first person that actually comes and see's this car in person and drives it will buy it on the spot..... I would trust this right now to hop in it and drive across country with no trouble at all.

The car is for sale locally so I can end auction and cancel all bids at any time , So click buy it now and own a beautiful Turbo Buick !!!!

GM will stop reporting monthly U.S. vehicle sales

Tue, Apr 3 2018

DETROIT — General Motors said on Tuesday it will stop reporting monthly U.S. vehicle sales, saying the 30-day snapshot does not accurately reflect the market, and will instead issue quarterly sales. GM will also no longer report monthly sales in China, its largest market, and Brazil. GM will provide monthly data to the U.S. Federal Reserve, industry associations and government agencies across the globe, but that data is not made public. Analysts and investors rely on monthly U.S. vehicle sales not just to track the performance of individual automakers, but as a barometer of the health of the world's second-largest auto market and as an indicator of consumer confidence in the U.S. economy overall. GM and its Detroit rivals Ford and Fiat Chrysler have relied heavily on sales of high-margin pickup truck and SUV sales to boost profits. GM's total U.S. sales, its second-largest market, are down 3.2 percent for the first two months of 2018, reflecting a 6.8 percent drop in retail sales to individual customers, the company reported last month. GM executives have expressed frustration that comparisons of monthly U.S. sales results among rival automakers are distorted by short-term discount programs, and by differences in strategy for selling vehicles in bulk to rental car fleets. "Thirty days is not enough time to separate real sales trends from short-term fluctuations in a very dynamic, highly competitive market," Kurt McNeil, U.S. vice president for sales operations said in a statement. GM's actions could prompt other automakers to also switch to quarterly U.S. sales reports. Major automakers will report March U.S. new vehicle sales on Tuesday. Until the early 1990s, most U.S. automakers released sales results every 10 days. The former Chrysler Corp. stopped reporting sales on a 10-day basis in 1990, and rivals followed suit over the next three years. GM executives are betting that investors will quickly adapt to receiving U.S. sales data every three months, as investors in other retail sectors already have. Retailers such as Walmart report sales on a quarterly basis. Reporting by Joe WhiteRelated Video: Image Credit: Reuters Earnings/Financials Green Buick Cadillac Chevrolet GM GMC US

GM might lose 90-year U.S. sales crown over chip shortage

Sat, Oct 2 2021

Automotive News editor Nick Bunkley tweeted on October 1 that according to AutoNews data, General Motors "has been the largest seller of vehicles in the U.S. every year since passing Ford in 1931." With automakers having turned in light car and truck sales data for the first three quarters of 2021, GM's 90-year-run might not reach 91. According to AN figures, Toyota was 80,401 vehicles ahead when the October workday started. Worse, GM is so far behind its historic pace that it might only sell enough light vehicles in the U.S. to match its numbers from 1958.  Meanwhile, the New York Times put a few more salient numbers to the pain GM and Toyota are enduring alongside the the rest of the industry. GM sold 33% fewer cars in Q3 2021 than it did in Q3 2019 during the dark days of the pandemic, 446,997 units this year as opposed to 665,192 last year. GM's Q3 2020 was only down 13% on Q3 2019. Over at Toyota, the bottom line showed a 1% gain in Q3 2021 compared to 2020, with 566,005 units moved off dealer lots. The finer numbers show two steps forward and one step back, though; Toyota's September sales were down 22% compared to last year.  GM remains optimistic about what's ahead, GM's president of North American operations telling the NYT, "We look forward to a more stable operating environment through the fall." We'd like to see that happen, but we don't know how it happens. The chip shortage said to have been the inciting incident for the current woes isn't over, and not only can no one agree when it will be over, the automakers, chip producers, and U.S. government still can't get on the same page about who needs what and when. Looking away from that for a second shows articles about "No End In Sight" for supply chain disruptions in early September, before China had to start working through power supply constraints, global supply chain workers started warning of a "system collapse," and roughly 500,000 containers sat waiting to be unloaded at Southern California ports — a record number seemingly broken every week. And back to chips, we're told just a few days ago the chip shortage is "worse than we thought."   For now, the NYT wrote that GM dealer inventory is down 40% from June to roughly 129,000 vehicles, and down 84% from the days when dealers would cumulatively keep about 800,000 light vehicles in stock. However, GM just announced it would have almost all of its U.S. facilities back online next week, although some would run at partial capacity.

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
