Nice and solid 1987 Buick Turbo T, rare and very fast car. VIN# 1G4GM1176HP432370

Garaged all of its life, it is completely rust free.

Very well maintained throughout history with 165,155 original miles on the car.

Painted bright red almost 20 years ago so there are some minor nicks and dings from rocks and parking lots, look closely at pictures for extent. Never wrecked or rust repaired, all original steel and glass…front to back.

New seal kit for car included and in packages still, including roof seals(2), door seal(2), trunk Seal(1)

GNX front undercar braces are included, just need to be bolted into existing stock holes.

Nice professional Stereo system, Alpine HD Radio/CD player, center channel, all upgraded speakers and amps.

Sherwood Alarm system with remote door locks and power trunk release.

Replacement NOS Door sill plates, above door chrome, Perfect Steering wheel center cap/horn piece, etc.

Spare Computer and chips to tune to your desire.

Flowmaster exhaust with big downpipe, Weld Super Single wheels…etc

Everything worked perfect including power trunk release, power steering, air, cruise, power windows, all electrics unmolested.

Very low owner car, I have owned it for 11 years and know the history for the life of car.

I had many nice weather cars when I lived here and this was my favorite one to drive. Great gas mileage and all the power you could EVER want in a street car. The trim package in this is very comfortable on long trips and a thrill to drive and hear the air pushed in as you are pushed into the seat!

The bad: I broke the crank under boost and snapped a cap. I had new caps installed and lined bored, then moved out of the country. The engine is no longer owned by me, but can be purchased after car is sold to buyer only for $1000.

NEEDS: Power Antennae, Short Block 3.8 V-6; The original ready to go block with new turbo pistons and crank installed is available separately from third party for $1000 only to buyer of car. I can arrange to pick up with the car.

Headliner is out of car and needs the “soft” cover replaced onto the hard shell.

All motor parts and accessories included and put in boxes when shop removed them.

Tires are old and should be replaced, as it has been in storage for 8 years.

Minor interior defects, minor paint defects (see Pics)

Thanks for looking….very low reserve. I am going back home and time to get this out of storage and back on the road....under another's control

Car technology I'm thankful and unthankful for

Mon, Nov 27 2017

The past few years have seen a surge of tech features in new vehicles — everything from cloud-based content to semi-autonomous driving. While some of it makes the driving experience better, not all tech is useful or well thought out. Automakers who are adept at drivetrains, ride quality and in-cabin comforts often fail at infotainment interfaces and connectivity. From testing dozens of vehicles each year and in the spirit of gratitude, here are three car tech features I'm thankful — and a trio I could live without. Thanks Connected search: This seems like a no-brainer since everyone already has it on their smartphones, but not all automakers include it in the dashboard and as part of their nav systems. The best ones, such as Toyota Entune, leverage a driver's connected device to search for a range of services and don't charge a subscription or require a separate data plan for the car. I also like how systems like Chrysler Uconnect use Yelp or other apps to find everything from coffee to gas stations and allow searching via voice recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: It took two of the largest tech companies to get in-dash infotainment right. While they have their disadvantages (you're forced to use Apple Maps with CarPlay, for example), the two smartphone-integration platforms make it easier and safer to use their respective native apps for phoning, messaging, music and more behind the wheel by transferring a familiar UI to the dashboard — with no subscription required. Heated seats and steering wheels: I really appreciate these simple but pleasant features come wintertime. It's easy to get spoiled by bun-warmers on frosty mornings and using a heated steering wheel to warm the cold hands. I recently tested a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe that also had heated armrest that added to a cozy luxury experience. Bonus points for brands like Buick that allow setting seat heaters to turn on when the engine is remotely started. No thanks Automaker infotainment systems: Automakers have probably poured millions into creating their own infotainment systems, with the result largely being frustration on the part of most car owners. And Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming along to make them obsolete. While some automaker systems, such as Toyota Entune and FCA's Uconnect, are easy and intuitive to use, it seems that high-end systems (I'm looking at you BMW iDrive and Mercedes-Benz COMAND) are the most difficult.

Updated Buick LaCrosse, Regal to debut at New York Auto Show

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Judging by the spy shots we saw last week for the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and 2014 Buick Regal, we knew it wouldn't be much longer until we saw both sedans receive a grand debut. Today, Buick confirmed to Autoblog both cars will be introduced at the New York Auto Show next month, but no further information has yet been released about either model.
Having been on the market for an extra couple years, the changes to the LaCrosse appear to be more significant than those coming for the Regal, but both will be getting refreshed exterior designs as well as updated interiors. The Regal's new face brings it more in line with the all-new Encore and the restyled Enclave, while the LaCrosse should get a more distinctive, upscale appearance.
Both cars will be introduced exactly a month from today, and we'll be there to bring you all the coverage.

2013 Buick Encore

Mon, 10 Dec 2012

City, Slicker
We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out.
Typically, after driving a new car or truck, we come away prepared to hazard a guess as to whether said model has a good chance of being a sales success. We've amassed enough time watching the industry, scrutinizing the competitors, and so on, to make a reasonably educated bet. Yet here we are, days removed from driving the new 2013 Buick Encore, and we still have no bloody idea.
