1987 Buick Grand National on 2040-cars
El Paso, Texas, United States
For Sale 1987 Buick Grand National Here is you chance to get a great deal on a very rare car. The car has been in my garage for the last 10 years and has been waiting for someone to give it some TLC. The last time I turned the car on was about 1 1/2 years ago. but due to other projects this car has been left on back burner. The car's body is in great shape for a 27 year old car. If has some dings and some paint chips but like I said, the car has been in the garage since I bought it 10 years ago. I upgraded the the radiator to an f-body rad, a new fuel pressure regulator new walboro fuel pump that is hot wired. I also bought a scan master which is wired to the car.
Things wrong: They tried to steal the car a few days before I had it (obviously not in my garage at the time) which resulted in the steering column being broken or damaged. The tranny had a bad leak which I thought was the tranny lines. After talking them off found out it wasn't the problem. Have brand new tranny lines that will come with the car when purchased. After reading some, I believe that the converter snout broke which caused the tranny to leak all the oil. Other than the steering column and tranny the car started the last time I turned it on. The car will not run due to me taking off the tranny lines (don't want to burn up the tranny).
I have some paper work from Canada (vintage specialist) which gives some good info of my car. This will come with the car.
The car is pending a sale here locally so I have the right to end the sale if the car sells here locally. The car is sold as is with no warranty.
Winning bidder is responsible for shipping of vehicle and will pay for shipping.
I have more pics but due to Flickr rules I cant post on ebay please contact. As you can see from recent pics car is being used as storage lets move this out of my garage and into your!!
Good luck!!

2015 Buick Verano offered with six-speed manual after all
Mon, 09 Jun 2014Good news, boys and girls (well, at least those of you who still like shifting for yourselves). Buick got in touch with us to correct some information that it had mistakenly announced; namely, that the 2015 Verano will lose its optional six-speed manual transmission. Apparently, that announcement was incorrect, and the compact sedan will indeed continue to offer a manual option for 2015, despite what we're certain is a low take rate. Additionally, the Desert Dusk Metallic paint that was said to come as part of an Appearance Package is no longer part of the deal. With that out of the way, we now return you to your regularly scheduled automotive-obsessive broadcast...
Buick struggling to keep up with Encore demand
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Buick is having a hard time keeping up with demand for its all-new Encore mini-CUV, according to a report from Automotive News. The stylish, lifted five-door went on sale in January, but dealers have reported that supplies have dwindled after the initial high demand, taking the proverbial "wind out of the sails."
General Motors admits that it underestimated demand for the diminutive Buick, which is built in Korea and sold as the Opel Mokka in Europe, where it's also seen success. Buick spokesperson Nick Richards told AN, "We increased production, so there have been a lot more landing within the last month."
Buick has done a booming business, though, even with its limited supply of Encores. With over 12,000 units sold in the first half of 2013, the small CUV is on pace to annihilate industry analysts' estimates, which predicted no more than 18,500 units in 2013. We're not entirely surprised. When we first drove the Encore late last year, Autoblog professed that we had no idea how sales would turn out, as the Encore wasn't really entering into an established segment. Even so, wefound a surprising amount to like in the Encore, enough that we "wouldn't bet against it" being a major success.
Buick really wants us to know the new Cascada convertible won't leak
Thu, Apr 16 2015Quality testing on the factory floor is nothing to joke about. Automakers need to make sure the work being done is up to snuff, and that means some extensive checks. For Buick, that means using a lot of water for each of its Cascada convertibles. Each vehicle that rolls off the floor is subject to a high-pressure, ten-minute soaking that sprays nearly 20 gallons of water from each nozzle during every bath, just to guarantee the fabric roof hasn't sprung any leaks. For some reason, Buick has chosen to show off this testing with the help of what we imagine is the Gorton's Fisherman's baby cousin. Check out the strange testing video, available up top.
