Wow Today I Have for your consideration a stunning 1957 Buick Estate Wagon, this car is equipped with a 364 V8 nail head, backed by a switch pitch automatic transmission, which all have been rebuilt / restored and are in perfect working order. The paint on this car is in very reasonable condition for its age. It has some lacquer checking but it just adds to the authenticity of the car making it seem like a true survivor for 1957. The chrome on this car is in outstanding condition with what I would believe to have been show chrome finish, very nice. Many dollars spent on the chrome refinishing. The body condition is very straight, with no body damage, that I can find. I have checked the car though ally since my owner ship of some 5 years and have found no previous or present rust issue of any kind. The floor pans are rust free and clean. The interior is in excellent condition through out showing no signs of wear, as is the headliner. Radio works just fine once it warms up tube you know. All Gauges work correctly. The speedo quite working over the winter don't know the issue with it. All windows are in great shape and work correctly. The engine runs great starts right up every time, transmission shifts correctly, no howls or wines out of the rear end. Brakes and steering components are all in great shape and work correctly as they should. I might ad the person that restored this car was the president of the Buick Club of America. This car also completed the Great American Race.

This car would be a nice addition to any collection or just make a great weekend cruiser for the person who wants a Buick Wagon.

Check the photos out as they speak for themselves.

This car is for sale locally and may be withdrawn at any time.

I encourage you to stop by and inspect this car yourself or your inspector because seeing is believing.

I will help with shipment over seas, I can take to a seaport for your convenience for a small fee.

I will Ship the car to Buffalo N.Y. or Detroit MI. Area For transport through out the USA. For a small fee.  Theres a small broker fee of $375.00 to have the paperwork done correctly so this car can be registed in any state with ease.

I am easy to work with and I am willing to help any way I can to make this an easy transaction.

If I haven't said this before this car drives just like it would have when it was brand new in 1957. If you really wish I would drive this car to your front door for the price of fuel, expenses, and plane ticket home for me and my friend. That's how confident I am in this car.

Truly is a nice example.

Want more pictures just ask.

Will consider trades????????

U.S. denies GM tariff relief request for China-made Buick SUV

Wed, Jun 5 2019

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration has denied a General Motors Co request for an exemption to a 25 percent U.S. tariff on its Chinese-made Buick Envision sport utility vehicle. The denial of the nearly year-old petition came in a May 29 letter from the U.S. Trade Representative's office saying the request concerns "a product strategically important or related to 'Made in China 2025' or other Chinese industrial programs." The midsize SUV, priced starting at about $35,000, has become a target for critics of Chinese-made goods, including leaders of the United Auto Workers union and members in key political swing states such as Michigan and Ohio. GM said on Tuesday it was aware of the denial and has been paying the tariff since July. GM has not raised the sticker price to account for the tariff. Buick Envision sales fell in the United States by nearly 27% to 30,000 last year and fell another 21% in the first three months of 2019. Only a small number of vehicles are built in China and sold in the United States. Last month, the U.S. Trade Representative's Office also denied a request by Chinese-owned Volvo Cars for tariff exemptions for mid-size SUVs assembled in China after the automaker sought an exemption for the XC60, its top selling U.S. vehicle. GM, the largest U.S. automaker, argued in its request that Envision sales in China and the United States would generate funds "to invest in our U.S. manufacturing facilities and to develop the next generation of automotive technology in the United States." GM said last year the "vast majority" of Envisions, about 200,000 a year, are sold in China. Because of the lower U.S. sales volume, "assembly in our home market is not an option" for the Envision, which competes with such mid-size crossover vehicles as the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Cadillac XT5. Ahead of the July 2018 start for higher import tariffs, GM shipped in a six-month supply of Envisions at the much lower 2.5 percent tariff rate, Reuters reported in August 2018.

Opel readying Adam model with SUV cues

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

The Opel Adam, the microcar of General Motors' European subsidiary, has seen its sales cool significantly since it first hit the market in the United Kingdom and Europe, but a push is reportedly under way that just might be enough to get the stylish, little car moving again.
Using the Opel Adam Rocks Concept as a template, Opel will ruggedize the Adam, so that it might compete with the growing herd of city cars that sport SUV styling, like the Volkswagen Cross Up and Fiat Panda 4x4, according to a report from Automotive News Europe. Sporting a bumped-up ride height and tougher body work, it's a dedicated soft-roader, but will freshen the Adam's lineup and, hopefully, broaden its customer appeal.
The Adam Rocks, according to IHS Automotive analyst Ian Fletcher, should also make some more coin for GM's struggling European arm. "Automakers are happy to meet demand for SUV and crossovers as the customer pays a premium," Fletcher told ANE. And although the Rocks might have been planned from the start as a production vehicle, the timing, with the Adam's sales slowdown, doesn't seem like a coincidence.

2018 Buick Enclave spied looking slim in Death Valley

Thu, Sep 8 2016

The nine-year-old Buick Enclave is well past its prime, but this set of spy photos reveals that GM won't put the vehicle out of its misery, but will give the vehicle a large update instead. Our photographers managed to catch Buick testing a heavily-camouflaged 2018 Enclave testing below sea level near Death Valley. Buick was testing the prototype in Nevada earlier this year, but slapped a trailer onto the back of the SUV. Thanks to the camouflage that covers the badging, headlights, taillights, and hood, there's no way to confirm if the prototype is really a Buick or something from Chevrolet. But the circular outline on the grille has us leaning towards it being a Buick. Five LED running lights shine through the heavy camouflage, while Buick's iconic waterfall grille is prominently uncovered. The Enclave, which came out in 2008, shares the same platform as the GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse. With the new Acadia slimming down and ditching the old Lambda platform in favor of the Chi platform, the Enclave will surely follow suit. The Enclave, though, is expected to get a stretched version of the Chi platform with three rows. While the entire body is concealed, the prototype's side profile looks to be slimmer than the current Enclave. With the addition of the new, lighter platform, the Enclave is expected to get GM's new 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission added later down the road. The new Enclave is expected to make its debut early next year as a 2018 model, which will be followed by the reveal of the Traverse shortly after.
