2003 Buick Century, 4 door, 3.1 L, Super low mileage 33,369 miles, Silver exterior, Gray Leather interior.

This is a true low mileage vehicle owned by my grandmother in which she kept meticulously clean, serviced, and sparingly drove. (mileage maybe slightly higher due to driving the vehicle back to her house after the detail shop). She is no longer able to drive (she is 86); so we are selling it for her. The CLEAR Pennsylvania title is in her name and on hand for a quick transfer. She purchased the Buick in 06/2004 with 15K miles on it. She averaged 2000 miles a year since she has owned the vehicle. Car has been garage kept since 2004 in her personal garage.

We replaced the battery in 2012, vehicle is inspected until 5/2014 (Pennsylvania state inspection). Oil was changed about 2k miles ago.

Motor looks and drives like new, very clean and well kept.

Interior is extra clean and has no signs of heavy wear, no rips or tears in any of the leather. Four factory carpeted floor mats are included with the vehicle. All carpeting was cleaned. All electronic features work.

Exterior was just washed and waxed, paint is in near excellent condition, one door dinger on the passenger side rear fender (size of pencil eraser, paint is not chipped), the front bumper next to license plate has a scuff mark about 1 inch long. These are the only flaws we can see, please see the pictures. This is a used vehicle so there might be some minor unnoticed wear and tear from basic driving.

Tires are in excellent shape and have low mileage on them. Front tires are newer than the rear tires, the picture of the tread shows the front and rear treads. The front tire picture is the one with the quarter being held by blue gloved hand. The rear tire is the picture with the quarter standing alone. Rims are made of Alloy Aluminum and also great shape (the front passenger side wheel/rim has a curb mark along the wheel/rim edge, see picture).

Vehicle is equipped for OnStar.

Please see picture of the GM Certified window sticker, to view all the options and all the accessories that vehicle is equipped with.

Vehicle is located near Pittsburgh PA, we are about 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh directly off of interstate 79 or Parkway 376. We have a local notary that is normally open till 9pm weekdays to do the title work.

Buyer is responsible for all costs for shipping and title transfer. If buyer is using a shipping company we will gladly meet (locally) the delivery driver with the vehicle. This vehicle is being sold with no warranty and is sold "as is". Private party seller.

We also have this vehicle for sale locally and reserve the option to remove vehicle from Ebay. However once the reserve is meet on Ebay  the vehicle will sell via Ebay and we will remove it from local sale. Highest bidder after reserve is met will win auction and be the new owner.

This Buick will not last long, so place your bids quickly to meet the reserve price.

Any questions or concerns please contact me via Ebay or Email. We can send more pictures if needed.

Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding.

eBay Find Of The Day: 1946 Tucker Torpedo Prototype II hides a secret Riviera

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

The Tucker Torpedo is one of the great what-if stories of automotive history. Preston Tucker hoped to revolutionize the industry with a car unlike any other on the road at the time. However, due to a variety of problems, he only managed build 51 vehicles before closing shop. Over time, they have become highly sought-after; In 2012, one sold for $2.65 million at auction.
That brings us to this Tucker "replica" that you see above because it might be one of the ugliest monstrosities ever put together. However, we might extend some leniency to the creator, as the vehicle isn't actually trying to replicate the classic look of the 1948 Tucker Torpedo. Instead, it is attempting to reproduce an earlier prototype from 1946 that actually features that weird, trident nose. According to the seller, his uncle built the car as a labor of love and supposedly used actual plans from Tucker as inspiration.
Underneath all of the crazy changes is a 1971 Buick Riviera powered by a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) Buick V8. Some of the replica's odder modifications include the front fenders that turn with the wheels and the fin running down the back. All three headlights work, but the one in the middle is only for the high beams. Oddly, the small hinged sections on the roof are meant to open to avoid hitting your head when getting in or out. Maybe the seller's uncle was a very tall guy?

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads

Sun, May 31 2015

Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Autotrader Logo "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," said Brian Moody, site editor for Autotrader.

March Madness upsets good for auto advertisers

Mon, Mar 23 2015

There are no Cinderella teams left in the NCAA men's basketball tournament - the fairytales ended with Georgia State's loss to Xavier over the weekend. And even though the Sweet 16 is composed of elite teams - at the time of writing the lowest-ranked squad is 11th-seeded UCLA, which has most championships of any school in the country - there are still underdogs and surprises, and they are good for NCAA business and advertisers. Last year the March Madness Live app, which allows users to watch games on the go, was downloaded 4.5 million times, a jump of more than 40 percent over 2013. Buick sponsors the iOS version of the app, but more than a million of those downloads were for the Android version, sponsored by Infiniti since 2011. Part of Buick's engagement is a "Boss Button" on the livestream sites that can quickly mask the page with something your boss won't question you over. It also sponsors a trick-shot competition for fans, has a display in Bracket Town during the Final Four, and its cars lead the team buses through the city. Infiniti said last year's tourney increased online searches for the brand by 25 percent in March, and things are going even better this year: it's round-by-round bracket game drew 477,859 total entries in 2014, this year's game has signed up 534,350 already and the tournament has another two weeks to go. The luxury brand is all over the event, promoting the QX60 through to the Final Four, then moving its efforts to the Q50. It sponsors the Coaches vs. Cancer charity and will have an Infiniti Lounge near the Final Four venue in downtown Indianapolis. So for the two automakers keeping their own scores... come on, Wichita State! Six brackets, six chances to win a trip to #FinalFour 2016.
