Bentley Bentayga will be the world's fastest SUV

Bentley is getting close to unveiling the Bentayga crossover. And this latest preview clip packs a punch. The Bentayga is depicted in the video above and the images below undergoing high-speed testing on an oval test track (albeit still under camouflage). And with it comes some interesting figures. First, Bentley confirms the Bentayga will adopt a new 6.0-liter W12 TSI engine. Revealed this past May in Vienna, the engine still features the same unique layout and twin-turbo setup, but features a new injection system and other advancements to deliver 600 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. That will make the Bentayga, in Bentley's own words, "the fastest, most powerful SUV in the world." To back up the claim, it's showing the ultra-luxe sport-ute reaching a top speed of 301 kilometers per hour. That's 187 miles per hour to us, or a good 11 mph faster than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and 25 mph clear of the Range Rover Sport SVR. In other words, as far as top speed in SUVs is concerned, the Bentayga will be the new king of the hill... for now, at least. Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn adds class to the grass

While Pebble Beach is traditionally thought of as the refuge of the pristine and pricey vintage vehicles of the world, there's no shortage of newer vehicles on display. And when we say "new," we mean really new. As in, not even in production new. This is the concept car lawn, and it's home to an eclectic group of vehicles from past and present.
Of course, calling it the "concept car lawn" is a bit of a misnomer this year (as it has been in previous years, too). Production models like the Alfa Romeo 4C were on display, alongside known quantities like the Hennessy Venom GT and modified versions of already-on-sale models, like the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Waterspeed Collection.
There were a few concepts on display, though. Toyota debuted the critically acclaimed FT-1 Concept in a new shade, while BMW's Beijing Motor Show stunner, the Vision Future Luxury, was also parked on the expensive grass. Also appearing were the Nissan GT-R in sheep's clothing, the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, and the recently debuted McLaren P1 GTR.

Bentley Continental Flying Spur spied lapping the 'Ring

It's been months since we've heard anything about the next-gen Bentley Continental Flying Spur. We know the four-door variant of the Bentley Continental GT is coming sometime soon, but all we've seen so far is one batch of spy shots of a car that doesn't stray too far from the current model. This new batch of photos shows another familiar car lapping the Nurburgring. Although this car is still heavily camouflaged (with some stickers that make it look like the current car), we can make some good assumptions based on the Continental GT. The car will have a larger grille, a new headlight design and oval taillights that mirror the exhaust tips. Under the hood, we expect the turbocharged W12 to carry over. Look for V8 and plug-in hybrid variants to arrive sometime down the line. We don't know when the car will go on sale, but don't expect to wait too much longer. It's been eight months since the Continental GT was revealed, and this is really nothing more than a platform variant. Look for a full reveal sometime this summer.
