2015 BMW X4 4 Door 4 Hatchback SAV This is my personal like new BMW X4. I purchased it new from Scottsdale BMW in July 2014. I am a 51 year old business woman and have treated the car very well and always kept it garaged. At this time the milage is 6245. It has the turbo 2.0 engine with great performance yet gas milage averaging 21.3 city and highway combined. You can see this 21.3 MPG on the trip computer in the photos. It will give up to 32 on the highway at reasonable speeds. It is a pleasure to drive with a very nice XM Satellite radio with MP3 and all luxury items including Nevada leather and sunroof. BMW M4 sheds some camouflage for latest test run
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Last time we saw the upcoming BMW M4 out testing, it was heavily clad with camouflage and decidedly homely looking (as most early development mules are). But in this latest set of photos, the M3 coupe successor has started to come into its own skin, and we're seeing a shape more closely akin to that of a rendering we brought you a few months back.
Unsurprisingly, the M4 coupe looks very similar to the 4 Series Concept that BMW debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. And while non-M version of the 4er will likely look a bit more sedate, these spy shots clearly show an aggressive front fascia, large wheels and the usual quad-exhaust rounding out the rear end.
Naturally, the M3 sedan will launch before this M4 coupe (and convertible), and powertrain details are still unclear as of this writing. We understand that the current M3's naturally aspirated V8 will be axed in favor of some sort of turbocharged six-cylinder engine, and we've heard plenty of rumors as to what, exactly, it might be, but we have yet to hear any official confirmation.
BMW planning Chinese recall for engine part issue [w/video]
Mon, 17 Mar 2014After receiving an unspecified number of complaints in China, BMW has reportedly started a "full investigation" into what may be a defective part in its VANOS engine control system. BMW said via a Chinese blog that it would file a recall application with the the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in China.
BMW has not yet announced how many vehicles will be recalled, or which models the potential recall might cover. We're also curious as to whether the VANOS issue could extend into markets outside of China.
