BMW 1 Series sedan interior revealed

The next BMW 1 Series Sedan has made another appearance following our last peek at it in September, and this time, the gallery of images even reveals part of the new car's interior.
Of course, if these images prove anything, it's that manufacturers take camouflage of the interior just as seriously as they do the exterior. We can see in these images a fairly simple cabin, with what looks like a fixed central display. It's quite small, although the housing itself is rather large, so we could be looking at a more basic form of iDrive rather than the full-featured set. Overall, though, this cabin more or less confirms that the 1 Series Sedan will fit in with the rest of the BMW family quite nicely.
Outside of the interior images, though, there isn't a lot of new stuff revealed by these images. As for when we'll see both the interior and exterior fully undisguised, our spies continue pointing to a 2016 debut with a 2017 on-sale date.

BMW teases new 7 Series with gesture control tech, LCD display key

Previewed in this teaser clip above, detailed in the press release below and pictured in the massive gallery at bottom, Munich's upcoming flagship model will be packed with innovative features. It'll have a remote-control parking feature that won't even require the driver to be on board when entering or exiting a parking space, controlled through an LCD touchscreen on the key fob. Once on board, you'll also be able to control the infotainment system with three-dimensional gestures made in the air or through the touchscreen display. Power will be provided by a new generation of engines, starting with a turbocharged inline-six mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. An adaptive air suspension promises to offer a sporty or cushioning ride as desired. And it's all being built around a structure made partially out of carbon fiber, cutting nearly 290 pounds off the curb weight. All of which paints a picture of the next-generation 7 Series as a rolling technology exhibit, and one we're looking forward to experiencing first-hand. Thanks to the BMW EfficientLightweight strategy, the new BMW 7 Series line-up will tip the scales up to 130 kilograms lighter than the outgoing generation of models.

New Bristol sports car will be called the Bullet

One of the great names in British carmaking history, Bristol, is coming back with a new sports car. It was first seen all camouflaged up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed just weeks ago, and now Bristol has announced the name the upcoming car will bear – Bullet. The concept name is Project Pinnacle, and to propel the vehicle, Bristol has chosen a 4.8-liter BMW V8. Power figures have not yet been revealed, but it is likely those will be disclosed at the car's official unveiling at the end of this month. It's been five years since Bristol last produced a car, the Fighter, which ceased to be in 2011. There never were that many Fighters produced – sources say only 13 cars made it off the production line. There were also plans to build a turbocharged version of the Fighter, but that never materialized; however, as the BMW V8 in the upcoming Bullet is a naturally aspirated unit, Bristol has said it will be the last non-turbo engine in a Bristol. The use of a BMW engine also neatly ties in with the first Bristol made, as the 1947 Bristol 400 used a BMW 328 powerplant. Some earlier Bristols have been crafted from aluminum, and the Bullet will be a step in a new direction, as the chassis is going to be carbon fiber. The carmaker told Autocar that the Bullet will be made available during the first quarter of next year.
