This is one extremely loaded Z4. Top of the line with twin turbo, DCT, 19" M Sport Wheels, Adaptive M Suspension, Navigation w/2014 Maps, Sports Package, Cold Weather Package, Heated Seats, Comfort Access (keyless entry and start) and so much more. Still under bumper to bumper BMW factory warranty and maintenance through May 2015. This Z4 is fully optioned minus only parking sensors and bluetooth streaming audio and has an original MSRP of more than $71k. This Z4 has been dealer maintained and is fully up to date with recent inspection (last week) and oil change. Also had dealer load new 2014 maps and added the factory windscreen found on the 2013 and newer models just last month. This vehicle is 100% stock with the only aftermarket piece being the front license plate tag mounted to the vehicle tow point so no holes were required to be drilled in the front bumper cover. The vehicle has been detailed with high end Klasse cleaner/polish/sealant and the leather has just been cleaned and conditioned. Vehicle comes with original window sticker, all factory books, three key fobs, dealer service records, full independent inspection and CARFAX Report.

The car is incredible to drive. I have owned a 5 speed manual 1999 Z3 for three years that I traded on a 6 speed manual 2003 Z4 3.0i for three more years then traded that in on this newer style 2011 Z4 and I can tell you the newer models (2009+) are in a class way above the previous versions. Much faster while also much more refined. The double clutch tranny shifts via paddle shifters or manually using the stick and instantly launches you forward on each shift. The specially tuned exhaust for the 35is sounds amazing. The new body style has a ton more room in the cabin and the trunk. It is a much softer ride when in normal mode than the previous model then firmer when you put it in Sport+. The hard top makes this a car you can take on longer trips and still be very comfortable. The infotainment is really easy to use with iDrive or voice commands and the navigation, bluetooth phone, and rocking stereo all make your journey more enjoyable. Using comfort access is really convenient as you don't have to touch the key fob to lock or unlock the car or to start it. I'm pricing this vehicle below the KBB price as optioned to facilitate a quick sale. My wife and I are purchasing a home and the new residence requires extensive renovations. BMW revises X1 to tide it over until replacement

It's been over five years since BMW first introduced the X1 at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and a bit over a year since it brought the compact crossover to these shores. Soon the Bavarian automaker will replace the X1 with a new model based on the company's new front-drive architecture, but not before it gives it a few updates to keep it fresh.
Set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next month alongside the Z4 Pure Fusion Design and the new M3 sedan and M4 coupe, the enhanced X1 benefits from some new exterior accents, a spruced-up interior and new technology packed inside.
New air intakes in the bumper and integrated daytime driving lights distinguish the front end, with new wheel and color options available. Inside, certain versions get a new dashboard treatment, among other minor trim updates, and BMW has installed its latest ConnectedDrive suite to keep it up with the times. BMW expects China to pass US as its top market in 2013

When you combine two billion citizens, 100 cities with more than a million inhabitants and an economy that's as unrestrained as Jim Cramer on an Adderall binge, China's explosive auto industry growth shouldn't be a huge surprise. Audi already lists the communist country as its largest market, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting it to be there in the next few years. Now, according to a report from Automotive News, BMW is expecting the People's Republic to overtake the United States in sales by the end of 2013.
We already discovered the extent that BMW is going to in establishing a dedicated Chinese stronghold, when we explored BMW's Shanghai-based DesignWorks studio ahead of April's Shanghai Motor Show. And while we argued that DesignWorks Shanghai hasn't really borne fruit, it isn't due to a lack of sales.
BMW China has seen a 16-percent jump in year-over-year sales, lead by a 28-percent gain in 5 Series sales. Part of BMW's growth strategy comes from an ever-expanding dealership network. Remember those 100 cities we mentioned with over one million people? According to Karsten Engel, CEO of BMW's Chinese operations, those 100-million-plus city dwellers don't have access to a premium dealership.

Weekly Recap: Toyota wants cars to be your 'close friends' around 2020

Toyota confirmed plans this week to launch autonomous technology in its production cars around 2020. The automaker's version is called Highway Teammate, and it's one element of a broader mobility strategy that includes vehicles communicating with each other and the grid. "Toyota believes that interactions between drivers and cars should mirror those between close friends who share a common purpose, sometimes watching over each other and sometimes helping each other out," the company said in a statement. That sounds utopian, and perhaps a bit cheesy, but it's an acknowledgment that autonomous driving requires more than technology developed in a vacuum. Toyota is looking at its research in a broader context, and dubs its overall strategy the Mobility Teammate Concept. Highway Teammate is the first step. Its test vehicle is a modified Lexus GS, which uses road-mapping data and external sensors to merge or exit highways, change lanes, and maintain safe distances during driving. It's operated on the Shuto Expressway in Tokyo. Toyota has been working on autonomous tech since the 1990s, with the goal of providing mobility for older people and the disabled, as well as lowering the frequency of traffic accidents. Toyota's push comes as an early adopter, Nissan, is hedging on its own deadline to implement the autonomous tech by 2020 due to a lack of firm laws governing self-driving cars around the world. Conversely, Volvo took the landmark step of being the first automaker to accept liability for when its cars will operate in autonomous mode, and urged the US government to set federal guidelines to regulate the technology. OTHER NEWS & NOTES 2016 BMW M4 GTS: Your water-injected, turbo-boosted demon BMW is unleashing its most powerful M4 ever, a 493-horsepower special edition that's road legal yet bred for the track. The company is making 700 copies for sale around the world, and 300 of them will come to the United States. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder revs to 7,600 rpm and uses a water-injection technology to cool the intake air and lower the compression temperature. BMW says this allows it to wring more power out of the inline six. The car also uses carbon-fiber reinforced plastic for the roof, hood, engine compartment strut brace, drive shaft, and rear spoiler to reduce weight. The M4 features BMW's organic light-emitting diode taillights, which are said to be an industry first.
