I searched long and hard for a used Z4 that had both mechanical stability, as well as cosmetic well being (let's face it, she has to be pretty). This is the result of literally 4 months of finding the "right" fit for a car I had lusted for since it's release in '03.

Texas Driven vehicle from 2004-2013, she moved to WI in November of 2013, stored in winter never seen WI snow or salt and barely any rain.

BEAUTIFUL BODY, PAINT HAS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL LUSTER, ZERO DULL SPOTS 9/10

Interior is gorgeous, some aging can be seen via the color of a few the plastic pieces (only the door handles, but it is an '04 after all). In all I would give the interior a 8.5/10.

The only reason I'm selling it is because with two young kids, my wife and I were not getting away enough to justify keeping it.

Options on the BMW Z4 Include:

- Convenience Package (Auto Dimming Interior & Exterior Mirrors, Storage Package, Automatic Climate Control)

- Premium Package (Fully Automatic Power Soft-Top, Power Seats w/ Driver Memory)

- Sports Package (18" Alloy Wheels, Sport Suspension, Sport Button for optional handling experience)

- Heated Front Seats

- Rain Sensor for Windshield Wipers

- Xenon Headlights with Automatic Leveling

- Power Windows, Power Locks, Heated Dual-Power Mirrors, Heated Washer Jets, Cruise Control

- Premium Sound System with DSP (has an internal CD player) with 10 Speakers.

The vehicle is up to date with its maintenance with BMW. It's been quite trouble-free over the years.

ADDITIONAL INFO.

I had a BMW dealer do a pre-purchase inspection in November
-new plugs and coils
-completely new fluids (coolant, transmission, oil, wiper, blinker ;)
-new windshield (had a crack from a rock, nothing more)
-fresh alignment
-new performance tires with <2k miles. (Sumitomo HTR Z III, all the guys (most) on the bimmer forums love these and claim about 20k life if driven hard, 25-27k if just cruising)
-new thermostat

Please take a look at the photographs. The car is in fabulous shape! It has not seen Wisconsin winters (was kept covered in a garage). You can't possibly find anything this nice & this well equipped within this price range. Even though it's a 2004 model, it has the mileage and wear & tear of a vehicle that's only 5 years old.

BMW to show car that can park itself in a multi-story garage at CES

Tue, Dec 16 2014

Automatic parking systems are something of a novelty, in their present form. Sure, modern parallel parking systems work well enough. And they're great if you lack the special awareness required to complete such a task. But frankly, how often is the average owner of such a system in a position to use it? Perpendicular parking systems, meanwhile, are basically an admission that you don't really deserve a driver's license. Novelties these systems may be, but they promise a future where we won't even need to be behind the wheel to park our cars. BMW is going to deliver a vision of that future at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show with the Remote Valet Parking Assistant, a smartwatch-activated system that takes the driver out of the parking equation and replaces them with an advanced collision avoidance system. Fitted to an i3 for CES, the BMW system relies on four laser scanners to map the surrounding environment and identify obstacles. Combined with a digital site plan for a building, the company claims its car can navigate its way to an open parking spot, moving around even unexpected obstacles like improperly parked cars. The car's owner can step out of the vehicle at the intended destination, and then tap the smartwatch app for vehicle parking and retrieval. BMW claims this system will allow more precise control than GPS, particularly in something like a multi-story parking deck. While it's an intriguing route with autonomous technology, we wonder how much is required of these digital site plans. There are more practical uses of this technology, beyond valet parking. According to BMW, the collision-avoidance technology can aid a driver in low-light conditions, automatically braking the car for its driver when an obstruction is detected. Look for more on BMW's Remote Valet Parking system as the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show approaches. Until then, scroll down for the full press release. BMW unleases new M4 as MotoGP safety car

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

BMW has some considerable racing prowess to crow about, and draws on those credentials to create models like the new M4. But it's not about to rest on the laurels it's won at the end of innumerable races past and present. Mere months after the release of its latest performance coupe, BMW has already revealed a new M4 touring car for the DTM series, and has now unveiled its new M4 safety car for the MotoGP motorcycle championship.
Revealed on the BMW M Facebook page and set to debut at the front of the grid at the season opener in Qatar a couple weeks from now, the new M4 safety car is just the latest in a long string of official vehicles it has provided to the MotoGP series. Previous examples have included everything from the 1M Coupe to the M6 and the X6 M.
Like its predecessors, the M4 safety car features emergency lighting, special equipment and of course BMW's trademark white livery with red, navy and light blue stripes that, in this arrangement, give the new Williams Martini Racing livery a run for its money. Logos promote the BMW M Performance Parts you can buy to bring your own Bimmer up to spec, which on this car isn't likely have changed much from stock.

BMW 1 Series with B38 three-cylinder engine

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Downsizing For BMW's Front-Wheel-Drive And i Futures
Output is quoted at 175 horsepower and BMW says it will hit 62 mph in 7.0 seconds.
The red five-door BMW 1 Series seen in this photo gallery has little to do with what is actually of importance here. What we've just tested at an airfield not far from Munich, Germany, is a new 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo inline three-cylinder gas engine that we'll be hearing an awful lot about in the coming few years.
