Hello and up for auction is a very clean and well maintained 2002 BMW Z3 in perhaps one of the hardest color combinations to find. The Color was only available in 2001-2002 and is the Sterling Grey Metallic in excellent condition. The mileage is very low and original with only 65,500 miles. The Z has spent its whole life in the California sunshine and never seen rain or other bad weather that can take a toll on a Cars finish. I have done a good bit of work to get this Z3 in the best of shape for the next owner. I work for BMW and all of my best friends are Master BMW technicians and the best at what they do. I have also replaced the Canvas Top with a brand new top just a few days ago as it is in perfect condition. I was not happy with the wear on the seats of the car and had both seats totally refinished to the tune of $1000. The overall Condition is better than average and I cannot imagine anyone not being thrilled with the condition of this Z3... A few days before the Shanghai Motor Show kicked off, we were part of an international group of media that was invited to have a look at the BMW Designworks Shanghai Studio and ConnectedDrive Lab facility. The building that BMW found to house its Chinese think tank is in a lovely part of Shanghai known as the former French Concession. The late 1890s and early 1900s French architectural style, brick-paved streets and tree-lined spaces feel a world apart from the ultra-modern heart of Shanghai, and the BMW enclave is a suitable mix of high-tech and throwback cool.

2015 BMW X3 gets a new nose, diesel power

The second-generation BMW X3 launched in late 2010, and while it's never really wowed us, it's still a solid offering in a highly competitive class. In an effort to keep things fresh, BMW has given its X3 a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, but perhaps the biggest news (for the US market, anyway) involves what's found underhood.
In addition to the 2.0-liter turbo-four and 3.0-liter turbo-six, BMW will now offer an X3 xDrive28d, fitted with - you guessed it - the 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline four-cylinder engine found in the 328d sedan. Output for this engine is rated at 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and BMW says this oil-burning mill will help the X3 reach 60 miles per hour in just under eight seconds. The automaker hasn't released any information about real or predicted fuel economy figures for the diesel X3, as yet.
What's more, BMW will once again offer a two-wheel-drive X3 in the States - the sDrive28i. Pricing for the refreshed 2013 X3 starts at $39,325, not including $925 for destination.
