This roadster is a pleasure to drive. This roadster has never been in an accident
Has been in adult hands for a very long time. Has started life in Pennsylvania and now driven and garaged on Long Island. Runs perfectly and looks beautiful. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and keep the car very nice. Below I will describe my car to the best of my ability. BMW Rims and Potenza tires Shocks are in excellent condition - no leaks and perform as new New BMW OEM parts plastic rear window New BMW OEM Fog light Bulbs new New BMW OEM Bosch Wiper blades Shiny new side BMW OEM emblems because the originals were dull. NEW alignment when tires were installed on 7-29-13 Stainless BMW factory exhaust in perfect condition. Exhaust pipe is clean inside to show that the engine runs perfect. Transmission shifts crisp and clean without any problems NEW battery in December of 2012 Never driven in snow Front and rear bumper covers are scratch free Doors are scratch and dent free Test drives are welcome. I will help be available for pick-up from car hauler once you set up Now what I see wrong with car: Windshield has fine scratch in it from old wiper blades can be polished out from glass store I have new windshield weather strip if you ever have to install |

BMW offers xDrive on 2015 2 Series
Fri, 06 Jun 2014BMW has released its mile-long list of model changes for 2015. It's mostly comprised of tiny tweaks to options packages, pricing or trim colors, but there are a few interesting new features in there too. One thing all buyers will notice is that as of July 1, the company's destination charge increases by $25, to $950 for all of its models.
The 2 Series gets two really useful upgrades for 2015. We already knew that BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system would be offered on the M235i this summer. However, it won't be the only 2 capable of spinning all four wheels. The 228i model will also be available with the system for $34,850 (after destination), $1,800 more than the standard model.
The other big addition brings a sportier ride to the 228i (with or without xDrive) for those who don't want to spring for the M235i. BMW is adding a Track Handling Package (pictured above) that lowers the suspension 10mm and includes the Adaptive M Suspension, Variable Sport Steering, M Sport Brakes and 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. It's available on manual or automatic models at $1,600 for cars ordered with the M Sport or Sport Line trims or $2,200 without it.
BMW to launch loaner program to avoid range anxiety on i models
Tue, 12 Mar 2013BMW is looking to stave off electric vehicle range anxiety with a new program that offers buyers a free gasoline loaner with every i3 purchase. Ward's Auto reports BMW is confident that the EV will give buyers the kind of transportation they need for 90 percent of their trips. The loaners, meanwhile, will be available for those few occasions when drivers need to cover more ground than the machine's batteries will allow. The i3 gets around with help from a 180-horsepower electric motor paired with a lithium-ion battery pack.
The combo is good for trips of between 80 and 100 miles depending on driving habits and weather conditions, though BMW also plans to offer a model with a small two-cylinder range-extending gasoline engine as well. That option will likely set you back an additional $4,000. When the machine bows in 2014, it will likely come with a charge time of four to six hours when suckling from a 220-volt outlet.
As far as the conventionally powered loaner car goes, the cost of the program is included in the i3's purchase price, though BMW has yet to figure out how many free loans will be offered, or what happens after that threshold is reached.
