THE VEHICLE HAS TAN LEATHER INTERIOR AND IS EQUIPPED WITH ALL THE STOCK FEATURES. STOCK OEM WHEELS AND THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP DOES WORK AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE AS WELL.. THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY SEVERE DENTS OR BODY DAMAGE.. THERE MAY BE VERY MINOR DENTS AND SCRAPES THAT ARE BARELY DETECTABLE, JUST FROM REGULAR USE... THIS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FLOOD. THERE IS NO INDICATION WEATHER IT WAS FRESH OR SALT WATER.. THE WATER DID GET INSIDE THE CAR AND THERE OBVIOUSLY IS FLOOD DAMAGE. THE SEATS DO HAVE WATER DAMAGE BUT NO RIPS OR TEARS. I DO NOT KNOW HOW HIGH THE WATER GOT BUT I DO KNOW IT DID GET INTO THE CAR. I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY TO THIS VEHICLE SO I DID NOT TRY TO START IT.. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE ELECTRONICS WORK BECAUSE AS I SAID BEFORE I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. THE TITLE SAYS IT HAS 35,000 MILES BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY MILES THE ACTUAL VEHICLE DOES HAVE. THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT AND OR PARTS CAR.. THE PANELS, SUSPENSION ETC ARE IN GREAT SHAPE... THIS IS A RARE COLLECTORS CAR THAT DOES HAVE POTENTIOL. BMW 2 Series, X5 get their M Performance parts on
Mon, 02 Dec 2013BMW models come in a number of flavors, from their standard guises to M Sport variants and M Performance models to full-on M muscle machines. But if you want to pick and choose the degree to which you want your Bimmer upgraded along the path to M, BMW automaker offers its M Performance Parts line. The Bavarian automaker already offers these performance and stylistic add-ons for a number of models, and has now released new kits for both the 2 Series Coupe and the latest X5 crossover.
The catalog for the 2 Series includes an available lowered suspension kit, upgraded brakes, new alloys, carbon aero kit and interior trim enhancements. There's also a power kit available for the 220d model that squeezes out an extra 16 horsepower for a total of 200, and a limited-slip differential and exhaust silencer for the M235i.
Upgrades to the X5 crossover, meanwhile, also include a carbon aero kit and interior trim package. The X5 xDrive35i model also gets a power kit boosting output by 20 ponies to 326 hp and an exhaust silencer. BMW M4 pitted against i8 in drag race
Fri, Jan 2 2015Germany's Auto Bild has set up a very intriguing drag race to settle not just an inter-brand rivalry within BMW but a question of the old school versus the latest tech. The BMW M4 is a leader among the traditional sports coupes with a turbocharged inline-six spinning the rear wheels, but the M has to tackle the cutting-edge i8 with its turbocharged three-cylinder augmented with electric drive. See what happens when they go head to head. Even on paper, the race looks quite close. The i8 weighs about 300 pounds less than the M4 and also slightly nudges it out on net torque at 420 pound-feet versus 406 lb-ft. Also in some shots, the pavement looks just a little bit damp here, which would benefit the i8's all-wheel drive setup. However, the M-car has a healthy horsepower advantage with 425 hp against the hybrid's 357 hp. The race commences after a short introduction. Watch and see whether the traditional tech or latest layout wins the day.
