THE VEHICLE HAS TAN LEATHER INTERIOR AND IS EQUIPPED WITH ALL THE STOCK FEATURES. STOCK OEM WHEELS AND THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP DOES WORK AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE AS WELL.. THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY SEVERE DENTS OR BODY DAMAGE.. THERE MAY BE VERY MINOR DENTS AND SCRAPES THAT ARE BARELY DETECTABLE, JUST FROM REGULAR USE... THIS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FLOOD. THERE IS NO INDICATION WEATHER IT WAS FRESH OR SALT WATER.. THE WATER DID GET INSIDE THE CAR AND THERE OBVIOUSLY IS FLOOD DAMAGE. THE SEATS DO HAVE WATER DAMAGE BUT NO RIPS OR TEARS. I DO NOT KNOW HOW HIGH THE WATER GOT BUT I DO KNOW IT DID GET INTO THE CAR. I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY TO THIS VEHICLE SO I DID NOT TRY TO START IT.. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE ELECTRONICS WORK BECAUSE AS I SAID BEFORE I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. THE TITLE SAYS IT HAS 35,000 MILES BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY MILES THE ACTUAL VEHICLE DOES HAVE. THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT AND OR PARTS CAR.. THE PANELS, SUSPENSION ETC ARE IN GREAT SHAPE... THIS IS A RARE COLLECTORS CAR THAT DOES HAVE POTENTIOL. BMW Active Tourer to hit US showrooms in 2015
Tue, 26 Nov 2013It's been over a year since BMW unveiled the Concept Active Tourer at the Paris Motor Show, and another four months since it brought the concept back in Outdoor guise (pictured above). Now word has it that the Bavarian automaker is putting it into production.
Although production specs and dimensions have yet to be revealed, the Concept Active Tourer came in a bit smaller than the existing BMW X1. The production version is expected to be based on the same platform that underpins the new Mini hatchback revealed last week in LA, meaning that it will be predominantly front-drive, but an all-wheel-drive version could follow.
There will also be a longer version with a third row of seats, forming part of a new generation of front-drive BMWs to take on the likes of the Audi A1 and Mercedes-Benz A-Class family, of which the GLA will be the Active Tourer's most direct rival. Expect the Active Tourer to arrive in 2015 with a new front-drive sedan to follow in 2017 aimed particularly at the North American and Chinese markets.
In case you forgot, the Dubai Police supercar fleet is the coolest
Tue, Feb 10 2015Ever wonder why the Dubai Police have a fleet of vehicles worth millions and millions and millions of dollars? Why it has a Bugatti Veyron and a Bentley Continental and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with sirens and light bars? Well, here's the reason. This video shows the fleet on display on the Emirate's roads and highways, while also reaching out to the people the police are meant to protect. It's an impressive display of machinery, to be sure. Alongside the Bentley, Bugatti and Mercedes, we spy a Ferrari FF, a Brabus G-Wagen, a BMW M6, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a McLaren MP4-12C (although the latest Dubai Police car, the Lexus RC F, is absent). The video even has a very cinematic look and feel to it, which works well with the night scenes and the blues-and-twos of the exotics cruisers. BMW i3 EV continues to shed camouflage
Thu, 11 Apr 2013As BMW gets closer to introducing the production version of its plug-in i3, we keep seeing the hatchback being tested with lessening degrees of design-obscuring camouflage. Last we heard, BMW is expecting to have the i3 ready by the end of this year, and the swirly, blue camo does little to hide its basic design in these latest spy shots.
We get our first clear look at almost everything above the wavy beltline including the silver roof edges and matching mirror caps, and it can't hide the dip in the beltline behind the B-pillar - matching what we've already seen on the i3 Coupe Concept unveiled at the LA Auto Show last year. Another change we notice is the lower portion of camo removed from the front fascia allowing us to see the air opening and the black, vertical inserts leading up to the fog light bezels. Judging by the "Hybrid Test Vehicle" stickers on the side of this prototype, we can only assume that this is the optional range-extended model.
