Bmw X5 M on 2040-cars
Monahans, Texas, United States
This is the finest car I have ever driven!! Surprise the one you love with this RED BMW. Imagine how your wife would look picking up the kids in this car. Or how about buying it for yourself. This is the fastest production SUV on the road. With 555 horse power, and 500 lbs torque, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds you will love it!! I am expanding my business so I have to sell my car. You can believe I will be driving another one as soon as I can. It is running on BMW X5 M 21" run flat tires. In the event of a flat, these tires are good for the next 100 miles or so, until you are able to get repair. Music never sounded so good an clear with this stereo. The sub woofers are located under the seats in the floor and there are speakers all the way around. Awesome sound system! I take very good care of this car and I hope somebody buys it and loves it like I have. I have many pictures and will be happy to email more upon request..... |

BMW M3 and M4 leak ahead of Detroit debut
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Images of the overhauled BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe have leaked ahead of a debut at next month's Detroit Auto Show, along with option sheets and some specs.
Both wear the standard hallmarks of BMW's M division. There's a subtle power dome in the hood, along with the requisite M3/4-branded strakes on the front fenders. The front and rear fascia are more aggressive than what we've seen in the 3/4 Series M Sport package, as well. Split-five-spoke wheels mean the neither car will stand out in the family portrait and those gold calipers, meanwhile, signify what has been rumored for some time - the M3 and M4 will be getting carbon-ceramic brakes.
The cabin is home to the standard suite of M accoutrements, including a new steering wheel and more heavily bolstered seats. Special trim, including carbon fiber, will be available to further set these cars apart from the standard models.
2013 BMW M6 Coupe
Wed, 12 Jun 2013The Act And The Exclamation
The 2013 BMW M6 is a rolling obscenity - one that begins with the capital letter "F." It is both the act and the exclamation, the curse and the encouragement. It courts no logic. It is all want and no need, and it is unbecoming of the BMW roundel. Whereas the brand's products once strove to unite man and machine in a duet of blissful performance, the M6 seems built solely to stand between the driver and the road. You are very clearly in its way every second you're behind the wheel, slowing it down and generally being the Monday morning to its two-day trance festival. It's clear this car is very fast, but it has no interest in making you fast in the way that the M3 or even the M5 are wont to do.
But somehow, all that doesn't stop the car from stoking every last lick of lust in your gut. A 560-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 will do that for you.
BMW planning Chinese recall for engine part issue [w/video]
Mon, 17 Mar 2014After receiving an unspecified number of complaints in China, BMW has reportedly started a "full investigation" into what may be a defective part in its VANOS engine control system. BMW said via a Chinese blog that it would file a recall application with the the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in China.
BMW has not yet announced how many vehicles will be recalled, or which models the potential recall might cover. We're also curious as to whether the VANOS issue could extend into markets outside of China.
We've placed a call with BMW in the United States, and will update this post as soon as we hear back. Stay tuned for more, and if you're curious about what VANOS is and how it works, scroll down below for a video animation.
