2012 Bmw X5 Xdrive35i Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States
Well,
Just arrived to Colorado Springs, Colorado (military recently PCS'd from Germany) and it looks like ill be needing a truck with a bed. I hate to do it but Im selling my 2012 X5. This BMW is low miles, has a flawless interior, a few minor rock nicks, a couple scratches and a single door ding only noticeable after I point it out. Most can be buffed out, overall the car is a 9.5 out of 10. This vehicle has a little over 18,000 miles, has had three oil changes and had the left rear tail light replaced under warranty. Ive never had any other problems with it and looks, runs, smells like new. The vehicle will come with all stock parts (front and rear suspension, brakes, exhaust and stock 20's) as well as the following installed aftermarket parts: Forgestar F14's in Gunmetal 22x10.5 and 22x12, +34 offset on all four 295/30ZR-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico XL in the front 335/25ZR-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico XL in the back KW Variant 3 Coilovers StopTech Big Brake Kit W/ 380x32mm drilled rotors on all four Megan Racing weld on mufflers with tips X5M steering wheel with paddle shifter retrofit (yes, the paddle shift does work) Body painted reflectors Matt black kidney grill Macht Schnell 90mm studs rear, 75mm studs front The ride is just a hair stiffer than stock and is lowered as low as KW recommends. I have no idea how this process will work...I've never tried to privately sell a vehicle before so we will have to figure this all out together. Of course I'm willing to ship and I'm willing to split the cost. Im listing this car below KBB/NADA with over $10K worth of mods left installed. Good luck! |

2014 BMW 2 Series configurator drifts online
Wed, 15 Jan 2014Monday marked the official, live unveiling of the 2014 BMW 2 Series. Not a company to rest on its laurels, BMW has unveiled the online configurator for the replacement to the much-loved 1 Series. Potential customers can select from either the 228i or go all-out and get the M235i. We shouldn't have to explain which car we've been building all day.
As a recap, a base 228i starts at $32,100 not counting a $925 destination charge. It includes 240 horsepower, 258 pound-feet of torque and, when optioned with the six-speed manual rather than the eight-speed automatic, a perfect 50/50 weight distribution (the 8AT balances at 50.3 in front and 49.7 in back). The M235i, meanwhile, starts at $43,100 (although you can't actually buy one for that, because the configurator forces you into a $1,450 Dakota leather interior). It offers up significantly more grunt, with 320 hp and 320 lb-ft from its 3.0-liter, turbocharged straight six.
Click over to the configurator and play around.
BMW ReachNow just became a full-fledged mobility services program
Tue, Nov 15 2016Since officially opening its doors with 370 cars in Seattle in April, BMW's ReachNow has made little expansions. It stared operations in Portland and grew to 760 cars. Today, it also announced that Brooklyn would join the list, and that the number of available cars to share would climb to 1,030. But the big news is that the scope of ReachNow's efforts has just grown tremendously. Instead of just the original, short-term car rental option ReachNow will now be able to do all sorts of things. These include: ReachNow Ride: Similar to Lyft and Uber, this is a ride-hailing program where someone drives you to your destination. You can request a driver and set personal experience options, like setting a radio station or requesting silence for the ride. A pilot program will start in Seattle. ReachNow Fleet Solutions: BMW's version of Zipcar, but only for residents of specific apartment buildings. This is a station-based, dedicated car sharing plan and the first pilot will be in Manhattan, starting in a few weeks. It will be based at The Solaire in lower Manhattan and will use plug-in i3s exclusively. ReachNow Reserve: Remember good, old-fashioned rental cars? This is like that, but a bit fancier. BMW's longer-term rental service will let you schedule a particular model, which will then be delivered to you. You can keep it as long as you like, but we assume that if you're thinking of not giving it back for a few months, you're doing it wrong. ReachNow Share: BMW saw what Turo (nee Relay Rides) was doing and figured it was a good idea. With this program, you will be able to rent out your own 2016 or 2017 Mini for a minimum of two days, making you a bit of cash from your car when you're not using it. This rolls out in December in Seattle, and ReachNow CEO Steve Banfield said that it may expand to other models in the future. At #AutoMobilityLA, @turo says it has 2 million activated users and 120,000 listed vehicles. Claims the average monthly earning is $536* pic.twitter.com/gWHdrvPRWV — AutoblogGreen (@AutoblogGreen) November 15, 2016 ReachNow currently have 32,000 members, and all of these services are available to them through the ReachNow app. For a "limited time," new users can save the $39 registration fee as part of an introductory offer, and per-minute charges for the regular ReachNow service are 41 cents a minute instead of 49. At #AutoMobilityLA , @reachnow announces third city for @BMW's car sharing services: Brooklyn.
2015 BMW X6 stays the course with more power, RWD model
Thu, 05 Jun 2014What would this world be without the BMW X6? Oh, sure, the whole coupe-crossover design trend surely would have started somewhere, but BMW was the first, launching its odd duck back in 2008. Much as we like to harp on the X6 (for being less functional and more expensive than the X5 on which it's based), people around the world sure do seem to like the thing, BMW having sold some 250,000 examples since the CUV's birth. And as you first saw thanks to leaked images this morning, the second-generation X6 has just arrived.
The shape is familiar, as are specific styling elements like the larger headlamps (now available with a full-LED treatment) and taillamps, mimicking those found on the X5. Two trims are available - xLine and M Sport - the former taking a more subdued approach, while the latter uses the traditionally bulgy and aggressive M-badged kit, with larger air intakes and matte aluminum grille bars. All X6s come standard with 19-inch wheels, and 20s are optional.
Regardless of trim, BMW will now offer the X6 in three guises here in the United States: sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive50i. Dissecting the nomenclature, that means the first two models will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, good for 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The sDrive X6 uses rear-wheel drive, while the xDrive, of course, uses all-wheel drive. Moving up, the xDrive50i uses the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 as its predecessor, though power has been increased to 450 hp and 480 lb-ft. All X6 models are fitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW says that the new powertrains are more efficient than before, though official fuel economy numbers have not yet been released.
